The Island itself was very nice, beautiful reef even if sadly the corals are mostly bleached but it was full of life. The personal was really kind and always wanted to make sure we enjoy our stay. The food in the main restaurant was nice and variable.

The facilities and buildings are not in the best shape. We booked the Water Villa and it was dirty and really not worth it at all. The staff later changed our villa to beach one and it was way better so I dont really recommend the Water Villa. I was as well not happy with the offer of all inclusive drinks or with bar at all. The included drinks were really terrible and if I had to choose next time I would do Full pension and just buy a drink which I wanted to have. For example Pina colada, mojito or other basic drinks (virgin verison of these drinks were not included either). I can understand not having Premium drinks in all inclusive but not the basic ones.

I recently had the most incredible stay at Reethi Beach Resort and I can't wait to share my amazing experience! From start to finish, everything was just perfect. Firstly, the room was exceptionally comfortable with a cozy bed and beautiful décor. The hotel's amenities were outstanding; the spa was a tranquil oasis and they also had a gift shop. What truly made my stay unforgettable were the local trips organized by the hotel. I went snorkeling and got to see dolphins up close—it was really magical. Plus, the hotel is located right next to a nice coral reef, which made exploring the underwater world incredibly convenient and breathtaking. The staff was exceptional. They were incredibly kind and always responded promptly to any requests I had. Every morning and evening, they delivered complimentary bottles of water to my room, which was a thoughtful touch. To top it all off, the hotel surprised us with a special barbecue dinner one evening—an absolute highlight of the trip! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was delicious. (Try out the lamb and the sea food). During my stay, I made a new friend named Faloo, who works at the hotel. Faloo not only offered us a great service every day, but also shared fascinating insights about the local environment and culture. It was wonderful to connect with someone so friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, I highly recommend Reethi Beach Resort for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, exceptional service, and unforgettable experiences. From start to finish, everything was just perfect.

I was at Reethi Beach resort for the second time. I enjoy snorkeling and the house reef is wonderful there. The first time I was in Sunset Villa and the second time in Sunrise Villa. The Sunrise Villa is in my opinion even better. In addition, it is a short distance to restaurants. I was halfboard both times and at least that was enough for me. The food is excellent in the buffet and versatile. I have also been to another island earlier at Coco Palms Dhuni Kolhu. Both islands are at the same level in service and villas. In my opinion, the most important thing when choosing a resort is that it is a natural island with no roads, local housing and so on. Then you get a real thing in the Maldives.

The island and nature are beautiful. It is wonderful that the island is far away from Male and mainly accessed by seaplane. It is great that there are not slides or many amenities for children, so it is cool that it remains oriented as a couple or family resort. The beach is ample, and amazing white sand. House Reef is fantastic. The way the deluxe villas are distributed on the sunset-West area is great (but also the sunrise villas are nice, if people like to face the East side). The dive shop has a cool layout and holds an easy atmosphere, and the service is great (perfect diving equipment and boats, too). The variety of restaurants and bars is great (many choices), and the food is fresh and delicious.

Installations in general are a little bit old, so it needs some soft renovation for sure, without losing the essence and own style/flavor of the Resort. The generators facility makes a lot of noise, so if you stay in a villa close to that area, I guess it is noisy. It is not nice that you have to pay for purified water bottles (which are filled at the location) in every restaurant or bar (at least you can have free water at the room, which is good). The cleaning of the bathroom and room is not really proper, so we would suggest more emphasis on that. There is a part in the island where they have many birds in a big cage, it was very sad to see that (it doesn’t fit to the Resort image).

The resort is a absolute gem. It is situated on a small Island covered in lush vegetation which is very welcome in the hot and humid climate. The resort was kept spotless clean at all times. The resorts bars and restaurants are very nice with a wide variety of choice for all tastes. The staff in general are very professional and helpful, with a special mention of Faloo at the main bar with his friendliness, jokes and a good communicator.

The sunrise villa's are vey nice tucked away under lush vegetation, but are very dark inside due to the dark ceiling and hardwood floors. The floors could be very dangerous and slippery, specially with wet feed. There is a step between the lounge and the bedroom section which is very dangerous even with the small floor light on. My suggestion would be to stick a small fluoressant strip which will help a lot. The price of the sea plane from Male to the resort is exorbitant. The 12 hour flight from South Africa cost 702 US$ and the 20 minute sea plane trip to the resort cost 490 US$. The price is fixed by the resort and cannot be booked directly with the seaplane company. A German tourist mentioned she paid US$ 192 booked trough her travel agent.

Getting ready for a trip to Maldives, my husband and I had examined tons of reviews and analyzed tons of information, trying to understand what can make this trip the unforgettable one. We’d come up with the opinion that basically, people go to Maldives seeking out the beauty of the islands and the Indian Ocean, an opportunity to capture it in their dazzling photos\videos, and a chance to spend their vacation hassle-free. Well, having come back home from our trip, we can say for sure that, if you’re not consider yourself as a blue-blooded person, you can easily find all the stuff I’ve mentioned above and more – here, in Reethi Beach Resort. The island itself is clean (we didn’t put on our flipflops not once!), stunning with loads of places where guests can take their instagrammable photos. The Indian Ocean is majestic and still presents an opportunity to enjoy the abundance of its sea life. At the same time the Ocean clearly demonstrates to us, humans, the damage we’ve caused to it: we had quite mixed feelings of awe and sorrow while we were watching the turtle trying to find food, swimming from one bleached coral reef to another. As for a worry-free pastime, Reethi Beach Resort’s team do all their best to satisfy their guest’s needs: fine-dining bars and restaurants (especially, we recommend Moodho Bar and Restaurant, which we nicknamed as “upside-down aquarium restaurant” because of the opportunity to enjoy fabulous-looking and palatable-tasting dishes, while watching fanciful fishes swimming below), top-notched service (email thread and personal communication alike were great, and our special thanks go to Mr. Siyam), dive center, spa-center, souvenir shop…Honestly, we don’t know what else could have made our Maldivian vacation better. On top of it, this hotel is one hundred percent worth its money, so, if we come back, we will come back to Reethi Beach Resort, that’s for sure.

As for drawbacks, I’d like to mention just two: the air-con in Sunset Deluxe Villa 111, which could start making noise in the middle of the night and the problem with AC outlets: there were just 2 out of 5 in working order. The rest started sparking once we had plugged our charge cords.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort on the island in the Maldives. One of the aspects we appreciated most was the high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Our room was exceptionally comfortable and well-appointed, providing a quiet and peaceful environment that allowed for complete relaxation. The dining experience was overall very good, although there is some room for improvement in terms of variety and refinement. That said, the service provided by the staff was truly outstanding. They were consistently professional, courteous, and attentive. We did not encounter a single issue during our stay — their dedication and hospitality were genuinely commendable.

What could be improved: Although the overall food quality was good and the meals were generally fresh and well-organized, we believe there is room for improvement. The variety of dishes could be greater to enhance the overall dining experience. Additionally, the quality of certain vegetables — especially cucumbers and tomatoes — did not meet the expected standard and should be improved.

My overall impressions of Reethi Beach Resort are very good. The place is wonderful, the nature is beautiful, it is very clean and well-groomed. The staff is very kind and smiling. Most visitors are elderly, calm people. Regarding the food - there is a great variety, everything is fresh. The food is quite influenced by Indian cuisine and is specific. There are fresh fruits and juices. I give a lower rating for the food because I have gastritis and Indian cuisine is too spicy and hot for people like me. There should be more European food. The restaurant opens exactly at the described hours. They clean the room every day and change the towels. I have a few comments about the hotel. We had paid full board, not all inclusive, and we had to pay for water at lunch and dinner, which is $3. I think this should be saved. I was offended by buying a piece of jewelry in the souvenir shop on the island. There was a sign that the necklace was made of silver, as the seller confirmed. I bought the necklace for $70, but an airport employee pointed out to me that it was not silver, there was no 925 stamp and it was just an imitation. You can check that there is such a sign in the shop, and the jewelry is not silver, due to the high price. My other remark is related to the too early check out. Instead of 12:00 as is the usual practice in hotels, the staff took our luggage at 10:15 and we left for the airport at 11:15. Considering that the airport in Dharavandhoo is very small, waiting 2 hours is unnecessary. They should also have given us 1 small bottle of water for the journey, after all the temperature is over 30 degrees. For this high price per night I think that tourists should not be skimping on water!

Snorkelling + (we were lucky to see 4-5 sea turtles in two days) | Food + | Location + | an unexpected birthday celebration (a song Happy birthday, a cake and a wine bottle gift at a dinner time), though we didn't mention this to anyone.

Water villa needs an upgrade (repair). Especially the door to the villa (villa #210). I would say it needs two doors or a good soundproofing, because at night the feeling is like sleeping outside: it's impossible to get a well sleep when you hear a strong wind and sea waves. We had to use ear plugs while sleeping every night. Another thing we didn't like was an early departure: it was not in time (as we came to the restaurant at the appointed time, there was anyone there to meet us, we had to wait for another 15 minutes. And the breakfast was absolutely poor: a bun & coffee.

It was a perfect holiday! Very friendly staff, amazing beaches and view! Good food, a choice of different restaurants. Great diving school on the island, offering Manta snorkeling tours and scuba diving tours. Cleaning of the room twice a day (which we did not use all the time, because it simply was not necessary). We would definitely recommend this place!

The only thing, that was maybe not perfect, was the interior of the rooms. It is a little old fashioned. Except the bathroom! But you already see this on the pictures, so we were expecting that. And the cocktails at the beach bar could be more fancy, with fresh fruit juice (which we had expected from such a paradise island 😊).
