Staying at Anantara Kihavah for our honeymoon exceeded all our expectations,and our holiday on the beautiful island was truly magical! We were greeted onto the island by bongo’s,the staff welcoming us on the pier and serving us fresh coconut water before our lovely villa host,Harnie drove us on a buggy through the lush island plantations to our incredible, newly renovated,spacious and private over water villa,which offered full sea and beach view,and from where we enjoyed complete tranquility. The staff was impeccable! They always went out of their way to make each of our experiences memorable and personalized,remembering our names,surprising us with honeymoon cake, champagne and decorations and always offering us our preferred drinks for breakfast and dinner. Every night, we were taken on an amazing culinary journey at one of the five incredible restaurants,that offer cuisines from around the world and each in a beautiful setting,overlooking the water. Our favorite restaurants were “spice” and “sea” - Sea is the under water restaurant, from where we were taken on a gastronomic journey of a five course meal, six meters under water,experiencing the “message in a bottle” immersive dinner whilst marveling at the sharks, stingrays and more fish than you can imagine, peacefully swim around us in unison. The amazing execute chef,Joachim prepared our dessert on the table,like a masterpiece too beautiful to eat,and he was always present at the restaurants, ensuring guests were enjoying their outstanding meals. Another “wauw” experience was the snorkeling, which we thoroughly enjoyed and we were so impressed by the abundance of marine creatures and sea life, swimming around, just feet below the surface of the Indian Ocean. It felt so calm under the water,and as though the fish were inviting us to join them in their underwater World. Anantara Kihavah is truly one of the BEST resorts we have ever stayed at and we loved every moment of this unforgettable honeymoon.

We waited at the outdoor lobby area for nearly an hour, awaiting the speedboat and seaplane for departure. It was extremely hot and it would have been nice with a cold towel and a glass of water. Alternatively check out could be completed in the villa, for the guests comfort. This is the only constructive criticism as everything else was perfection. Thank you to all the Anantara Kihavah staff for making our honeymoon unforgettable and magical. It truly felt like a dream, on this beautiful island.

Clean and kids friendly, nice restaurants

The manager sam, the night before flight said either upgrade or pay more because one extra infant in room he said because safety but okay to stay same room if pay 200 per night. It’s not one night it was 7 days. It let me feel just about money not safety. In that time i don’t have option to cancel as my flight after 12 hours. My concern about his way of discussion. I think in his potion shouldbe someone knows how to welcoming the guess. Otherwise all other staff were perfect.

Overwater villas are excellent, staff is very friendly and super helpful. Food (especially Spice) is very tasty. The island and the surrounding reef is absolutely awesome. Transfer from the airport and arranging the sea plane is very smooth, no headaches, our flight was delayed, they still did everything to make sure we catch the final sea plane of the day.

Quite expensive overall, especially add-ons (drinks, all activities, underwater restaurant..etc) are very expensive. As one example, the padel court was completely unused for the whole week we were there, they still asked us for ~100USD just to play for a while, without any trainers or help. Small activities like this should be included in the price. Not important at all, but the TV in the room is quite outdated, we couldn't connect any of our streaming apps or devices.

Our stay at Anantara Kihavah was truly incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a world of unparalleled beauty and hospitality. The natural surroundings are simply breathtaking – the vibrant colors of the ocean, the pristine white sand beaches, and the lush greenery create a true paradise. The house reef is a marvel in itself, offering some of the most stunning underwater experiences we’ve ever had. The culinary experience was equally outstanding. Each meal was a journey of flavors, with exquisite attention to detail and a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate. We would like to extend our special thanks to Zidane. He was always there to assist us, resolving any questions or concerns with remarkable speed and care. His help in organizing our program deserves particular recognition – everything was planned so perfectly and tailored to our preferences that every day felt like pure joy. What truly sets Anantara Kihavah apart, however, is the impeccable service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable. This was more than a vacation – it was a dream come true. Everything was magnificent. Rooms were cleaned two times a day. Staff were very friendly. Dining was very good. Facilities were top class. Special shout to Maher, our butler, for his dedication and help as well as Waheed for the cleanliness of the room.

Maybe, the only issue we had was kids club experience. The staff is friendly, but did not do any efforts to solve the little issues between kids and finally my son did not want to come there anymore.

We picked this resort for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! Clear turquoise water, beautiful water villa, great facilities and very good restaurants ( absolutely loved the Asian restaurant ). Everything was perfect and our host villa helped us with everything that we needed. It was truly a dream!
