The island is beautiful, and the hotel is generally good, aside from a few minor issues. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is thoughtfully positioned within nature without disturbing its beauty. The go-karting experience was exciting and enjoyable, and the evening activities were satisfying. Overall, it’s a place worth recommending.

Breakfast was very mediocre and did not live up to the standards of the resort. The same goes for the buffet restaurants at dinner—they were quite disappointing and definitely not worth the price. Not being able to make reservations for the à la carte restaurants was a major downside. We only managed to find a spot at the Sea Dragon restaurant on our last night, but even there, the experience did not justify the cost. When we checked in, no one informed us that we should make à la carte reservations immediately, so we missed our chance. The island is a bit remote, and getting there requires a seaplane or a domestic flight via another island. However, the transfer services were well-organized and efficient.

The island was massive and had everything we needed from a la carte restaurants for date nights, watersports, great buffet food, pool areas, and even a go carting track. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with great hospitality. The staff are very kind and accommodating. We got there a little late and had missed our lunch and they still provided us food from the Cafe free of charge. Shortly after we got to our room and felt at ease. The journey is well worth it. We spent time in the beach studio and Aqua Villa and absolutely loved both as they each offer a different but amazing experience. Kandima also upgraded us to a honeymoon package free of charge. There are so many good things I can say about this place, the list goes on. 10/10 staff, 10/10 resort, 10/10 location, 10/10 food, 10/10 experience. The perfect honeymoon destination.

Very beautiful place, nice staff, very clean rooms

The quality of food, every day it is the same and a lot of various Indian food, that is not for every European person. A la carte restaurant is also not so good. We were at sea dragon and tried Tom Yam, but it was not Tom Yam at all. Not tasty, without coconut milk. We had half board at this hotel and we had only 2 options for our lunch, breeze or beach club. Too expensive food and not tasty.

Amazing place , felt like a paradise. Very thoughtful staff, amazing variety of food and beverages (I guess I gained like 5 kg) and such great facilities!

There were way too many children.I guess it should be noted on the website that majority of guest travel with kids. When we were looking on website, there was quite opposite feeling, as you portray, as main customer profile young people, groups of friends and couples. I wish to have more peace on vacation rather than listen to non stop crying and yelling.

Kandima has alot to offer & As I stayed for 5 Nights it wasn’t really enough! I should Definitely stay longer the next time i’m there. My room was magical felt like living in a dream land in an aqua villa . The food was super great at breakfast with so many options to choose & all day dining with many restaurants around the resort. & at both beach club pool & main pool I had great times there & the staff made it the best . Kimi & her twin sister are my first super Great friends I met with many talents to offer , the Yoga instructor was super cool & and a great dancer too, Amazing Filipino group Band I met also & A Great singer with a voice of an angle when she sings , Feero is a Great artist also Who helped me with my painting, & Dj Akram Made my last night unforgettable with celebrating my birthday in Breeze. Anishka ,bredesh , & more of the staff I cant recall their names but they were all super friendly & Every night they had Different vibes at breeze & it was all super amazing . & Also Oh snap has a great Photographer That took my photos special thanks to him too❣️ & Thank You For the Kandima App With the great organization for the whole day of activities to do . I honestly felt all Kandima staff was my beloved family & thats where I belong to 🫶🏽 . I felt love in Every Moment I was there with Everyone I Met & socialized with . Thank You so Much for a beautiful Memory That would live forever with me , & I cant Wait to Be back again there ❣️🫶🏽.

There’s nothing I can complain about except that I was Really super Sad to Leave . But Even though i’m gone , I still left my Heart there in Kandima ❣️🫶🏽 . Very kind stuff and everything was perfectly organized. Stuff was all the time available to help with whatever we needed. Altrough it was windy season they put extraordinary effort to keep all the facilities clean and safe. I read some reviews here that people experienced problem with connection, communication or stuff communication. Obviously Kandima put a lot of effort to improve all that as we didn't experience any problem during our stay. All inclusive was a great value. We had great time at dinners in restaurants Smoked, Sea Dragon and Azure. Also main restaurants were very clean and food was good. Not so many chlices if you expect European food only, but fish and seafood was great. Also, beach jacuzzi villa was great value with direct access to the beach ans very big jacuzzi. Overall, bathroom was like mini spa center. This is our 5th time in Maldives and this is one of the best experience especially as we traveled with a small kid (<2yo).

In some areas beach could be cleaned better from corals that are washed out from the ocean. They were cleaning beach daily but vehicles used leaves marks in the sand so beach doesn't look perfect. Marks are obviously not permanent but when you take photos they are visble.

Absolutely amazing, we went to Kandima for our honeymoon and it was so worth it. We stayed 6 nights at the aqua villa and if you know to swim, you will love the room because you can directly dive into the water. Every people in the staff was really nice and welcoming, mandjula is one of the waiter and he remembered our room number from the very first time, really a cool guy. Chovy who was at the reception was really helpful in all the information about the resort and a very nice person, we even went diving together during her day off. Ronaldo was the diving instructor, well trained and felt really safe with him during the training, was really worth it. It was our first time and had a cool experience. The room is very clean and comfortable, you actually don’t have to bring much stuff because in your room every thing was provided, we end up never using our things. You have two swimming pools on the island, two bars and 4 restaurants for dinner, every thing was on point, the best was Azure. I suggest to choose the all inclusive option so you don’t have to worry about the food and drinks since prices are a little bit high. We tried the Balinese massage during the first day and it was so relaxing that at the end I ended up sleeping. Maybe beacuse we were so tired after the flights transfers, but we really enjoyed it. We were a little bit unlucky because of the weather, we had mostly sunny days throughout the vacation but there was rain very often, wind was really strong and so the waves, hence we weren’t able to do many activities we wanted to. Returning domestic flight was delayed so we had to hurry up at Malè airport, once landed their staff got our baggage from the plane immediately so we can rush to check in point with the staff taking us directly there using priority lanes. It was so helpful and thank to them we got our connection in time.

Since you put your foot on the ground of Male Airport they take good care of you. The staff is well dressed, polite and professional. The facility is one of the biggest in Maldives. There is a shuttle working between 2 ends of the island during all day. Still you can see all the island in a couple of days. It is not "that" huge. Sea is A-ma-zing !!! Don't forget to take your snorkels. It offers various meal options. You can choose an all-in package if you are a family because kids below 6 are eating for free. The island is pretty big so they have 2 restaurants in both ends that serve open buffet. The options are quite rich. And they also have 3 alacarte restaurants (sea food, steak and mediterranean). Considering that you are in the middle of an ocean you do not feel the lack of anything. We have been offered a free dinner in one of the alacarte restaurants as we were in our honey moon. Aqua Villas are amazing, we stayed in sky studio too as it fit to our budget, but if you can afford it go for the Aqua villas.

If you are looking for a romantic get away , I recommend going for a smaller island. Kandima is more for families with kids.There were a lot of kids than we would expect. But Honestly the place is amazingly beautiful and we areally loved our stay. Of course it is luxurious but it is more like a "holiday village quality" when it comes to food. As most of the food are cooked for several people at once don't expect the moon. But is it bad? Not at all. Some nights were noisy because there were some ntertainment events in the beach. The government is taking a lot of tax.

Excellent resort, well organized and restaurants are great

They don’t have a proper reef - if your objective is to snorkel all day you’ll need to do boat trips to go to other places. Other resorts we have been to had reef next to the island and it was easier to snorkel

I am travelling a lot for work worldwide and this resort has the nicest and most welcoming staff I have ever seen! Big thanks to the staff who made our stay very pleasant and who has been so nice with our 1 year old son. I am never leaving any review but this time, i must leave one as Kandima staff and vibe really desserves to be positively reviewed. Location is great, island is big with many dinning and bar options giving many possibilities. Feels like a small village! Food was good and pretty international, so always many things nice to fill up your plate! (they did add some fresh juice with new tastes every day) À la carte restaurants are great, with nice locations and eating right at the beach! I havent seen any flies during our stay (different period ?!) Hotel is doing good to reduce mosquitos and only need to be more careful during day time if you stay on your terrace (we had beach studio). Nothing at evening! House keeping was perfect and rest of the resort was really well maintained and clean! We had all inclusive package and I really recommend it as drinks and food is expensive in the Maldives... Moreover, if you want to enjoy the à la carte restaurant on a regular base (we went there every 2 days), all inclusive is definitely a no brainer. Then if you like cocktails, definitely do not hesitate... some specific alcohols are not included but that was absolutely not a problem as we could order what ever cocktail we like even if not on the menu as long as you chose something with included alcohol/brand. Transfers were well organized for both our domestic and seaplane transfer.
