Iloma is a nice hotel located next to the wonderful Anse Mabouya, a small bay with a natural and clean beach, ideal for swimming, sunbathing or just relaxing. You can also see the diamond rock island from the beach or hotel. My room was just awesome, especially the luxurious bathroom with bathtub and a balcony facing the sea, and large windows. The room also has rolling shutters, and there is a fan mounted to the ceiling of the balcony (which I guess also helps with the mosquitos—I don't know why, but I only noticed a single mosquito during my stay, despite the mangrove nearby). The staff was super welcoming and helpful at all times. I don't speak French, but this was never a problem. The parking lot was always quite full, but I never had an issue to get a decent parking spot. The hotel also has one or two gazebos, with chairs and tables, where you can just relax. I can definitely recommend this hotel and consider to visit again in the future.

The Kanawa restaurant was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was ok and they serve scrambled eggs when you ask. I went for dinner three times, the first evening was delicious, the next two rather disappointing (I believe the entrecôte was actually a sirloin).

We stayed in a very nice large room with a balcony facing the ocean and a bathtub in the middle of the huge bathroom. The staff were super friendly. There were two nice pools and a spa. The restaurant had good food and happy hour at the sunset with a great view over the ocean and the Diamond rock. The nearest beach was not the best, but there are many great beaches not so far away if you have a car. Do not miss to visit the local rum distillery! In conclusion we had a great stay!

Beautiful view. Easy access to a beach nearby. Newly renovated rooms and restaurant. Two swimming pools: one is adults only. Personnel is nice.

The hotel is far from the town and you always need to take the car. The bathrooms are new, but the shower leaks water everywhere even when we tried to be careful. Food is a bit expensive for its quality.

Very well designed room with the kitchenette with a view of the ocean. Nice beach within a couple of minutes walk along a pleasant trail. staff all were very helpful despite limitation in their English and our French. very good restaurant on site.

mildly uncomfortable to sit in the room as there wasn’t a good chair nor cushions against the wall when sitting on the bed.

Check in was super easy, the room was cool, staff was super nice and our dinner was good. Beach is very close, and also some attractions as a nearby distillery.

Great location, a bit far from the villages but close to the small and secluded Anse Mabouya beach. Great view from the rooms (higher floors have better views, but ground floor has access to the garden and pool aread. Nice apartments. Very friendly host!

The hotel was undergoing refurbishment and expansion when we were there and we did not know about it. The minus was lack of restaurant and bar available. However, the views, the apartment and the friendly host made it up for this inconvenience

Great restaurant, nice pool, comfortable room and easy walk to the beautiful beach.

Work is going on to add new rooms and renovate the property but it didn’t impact our stay.

The best dinner I have had in the last of couple years.
