The best part of our visit to Punta Pescadero Paradise Hotel & Villas was the staff. They were accommodating and most of all extremely kind. My family has visited this resort for decades, so I knew what to expect. The food was wonderful along with a visit from the chef to make sure we were delighted. Delicious breakfast every morning. Fresh fruit, hand-squeezed orange juice, delicious coffee. Best chorizo and eggs I have ever tasted. The lunch and dinner menus include fresh fish, amazing soups, and many authentic Mexican dishes. If you are looking for a nice relaxing vacation stay here if you want the crazy party scene stay in San Jose Del Cabo. Our stay at the Paradise Hotel was amazing! NOTE: To access Paradise requires driving on a dirt road. This may be an issue for some however, for me, it adds to the overall fun.

Fortunately, I don't have any negative comments. What I did not like was having to leave this beautiful resort, our delightful room, and its kind staff. Booking.com is asking me to write more so I am just filling in the space.

The location was absolutely perfect. A little challenging to get to, but that is what made it so special. The sunsets and sunrises could often be enjoyed in complete solitude. Free snorkeling equipment and kayaks to enjoy the beautiful bay. Whales, dolphins and manta rays swimming just offshore. The hotel is an elegant older hotel so don't expect swim up bars and all the latest all-inclusive resort amenities. The staff were wonderful and helpful.

The hotel is a long way from anywhere so a little more variety at the restaurant would have been an improvement.

Beautiful location. I couldn't ask for a better view. Snorkeling right off the beach was so beautiful. The paddle boards and kayaks were great to have. I thought the plants and landscaping were cool. there were not big crowds, it was quiet.

these items did not have a big impact on my stay at all, simply reporting in case it is important to someone. there was a strange crusty stain on my bedsheet. the music one night was Christmas music, which was an odd choice for March...Again, not a big deal at all, I loved it there and will likely come back someday with my kids.

We absolutely loved the hotel, our room with a hot tub and the ocean views. We loved snorkeling right alongside the hotel. The beach and pools are beautiful. We loved the pools and patios. The breakfast and service was awesome. We especially enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the restaurant with the moulton chocolate cake.

We had almost no water in Room #2. We reported it. There was barely enough water to shower, flush the toilet and use the sink. The bedside ceiling had several spots, could be mold. The walls were cracked and in need of paint and repairs. The bedside lamp shade is disintegrating, I don't think the light works. The rooms don't have any directions on how to use the fans, A/C or TV. The drinks at the bar serve less than 2 oz of alcohol, so they are on the weaker side. Our Long island Ice Tea was missing Cola and Mai Tai's were missing grenadine.

Beautiful setting, lots of awesome views and quiet beaches to explore. Unfortunately we were there during major construction BUT the staff were happy to work with us to make up for the disappointment, so all good. The food was good. The room was very comfortable, great bed, great view.

Having an suv with more clearance than the smallest SUV’s the rental companies flog was a good decision. Rent the size up and take it slow, no problem. It is far enough out of town that you won’t be going back and forth…bring what you need. So long as you’re prepared to at at their restaurant each meal, all good.

I’ve stayed a couple times before. The service and food was lacking this stay.

The first day, the continental breakfast was great! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The premises is clean and beautiful. Enjoyed an early morning swim in the infinity pool as the sun rose in the morning sky. A really nice get-away. Lovely for honeymooners.

The internet didn't work in our suite - no matter how much we tried. The second morning, we thought we were receiving the same for the continental breakfast, but we didn't receive the toast as we did the day before - no explanation. But we will return. We enjoyed our stay.

Punta Pescadero is truly a remote paradise. All rooms face the ocean, with an amazing fresh breeze and sound of breaking waves all night long. There are two clean beaches, and wonderful rocks to explore with snorkeling and kayaks. The beaches are basically private to the hotel, as they're shared only with the 8 houses nearby. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Good free entertainment options at the hotel - billiard room, board games, corn hole, pool. The hotel was off the beaten track, but not hard to reach. Follow the paved road from Los Barriles to the small village of El Cardonal, then take the sandy dirt road for 10 km to the hotel. Our small compact rental car made it just fine.

The only real downside were the prices in the restaurant, but at least the food was very good. There are some highly rated restaurants in El Cardonal, and there's a small grocery store about 2 km from the hotel, so there are other options for food despite the remote location.
