We loved everything about our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. The property is relatively small, making for a peaceful environment in the pool and beach area. Day passes are available to the neighboring Velas properties if guests would like to visit, but we enjoyed the facilities at Mar del Cabo. The staff were all extremely kind and accommodating, especially Miguel, Rosaura, and Eufracia at the restaurant. The breakfasts were also delicious every day.

I wish the property had two bedroom villas with a more clear view of the sea, but the room was still extremely nice and comfortable.

This facility is beautiful. My room was great. I ate at the restaurant twice; breakfast was amazing, some of the best pancakes, lunch was also fantastic. The view from the restaurant can't be beat. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

There was construction going on at the hotel next door (I believe same parent company), and while it wasn't a huge disturbance, it felt strange while lying by the beach / pool trying to relax. There were also no lounge chairs set up on the beach (some kind of construction happening on the beach, too), they were all by the pool which seemed crowded and a little strange. However, this didn't put too much of a damper on my experience. They also sent a beautiful tray of chocolate truffles to my room my first night as an apology / thank you for bearing with construction.

This is one of the most relaxing hotels you can visit. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very kind and efficient. There wasn’t too many guests during our stay so the pool and beach were never crowded which was nice.

No access to town without Uber/taxi.

The hotel is beautiful, with a very intimate feel, with a lovely outdoor path from reception to the guest rooms built into the side of the cliff and gorgeous bougainvillea and other plants lining and hanging over the path down to the beach/pool and restaurant. The rooms are spacious suites and the staff are all friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and the food and service were exceptional. We enjoyed drinks on the beach with a lovely view of the water.

Our room was near the top of the complex, so we were disappointed to not be able to hear the ocean from our room, but instead had quite a bit of road noise all night from the highway. I'm sure that rooms further down the cliffside do not experience that road noise and if we return, we will request a room further down (which also means fewer steps to get to the beach!).

So charming and beautiful. Authentic feel that reminded me of positano. Wonderful staff. Loved breakfast (included) on the terrace overlooking the ocean every morning. Lovely yet Unpretentious

Honestly the only thing that we said would be nice is a hot tub.

Beautiful property! The pool is amazing, and the restaurant is five star! The staff was responsive and accommodating.

Had a known there would be construction in the morning right outside my room, I might have opted to stay somewhere else. It was loud enough that it was impossible to sleep in, even with noise canceling headphones.

The air conditioning was GREAT! The room was really spacious and comfortable. The staff was FANTASTIC!

Rocky beach; couldn't really get in water safely. Too many steps to get to the pool and restaurant area.

The breakfast was exceptional with normal menu and extra healthy choices.

An elevator to reach lower levels for people with disabilities, and/or a sign for assistance being available to use a cart and driver on the ramp is needed, please.

We really enjoyed this little boutique hotel. It was very quiet and private with a beautiful beach pool and beach location. The staff was exceptional! Every one was very friendly, attentive and helpful. We had superb service throughout our weekend - front desk, valet, restaurant, pool side, housekeeping, etc. My husband and I noticed the high level of service all during our stay - particularily appreciated Cesarei and Victor in the restaurant and Paola and Saul at reception. We loved the open air restaurant, overlooking the pool and beach.

The WiFi could have been better. We had a difficult time keeping a connection for our video Covid tests needed to return to US. We got it done but it took a much longer time than it should have due to poor Wifi in our room.

the property is so beautiful - Gorgeous tile mixed with bright flowers. It is deceiving from the check in area. Our garden suite was perfect for my mother & I.

There is a building going up next door. However, it really wasn’t an issue once inside the property and we couldn’t hear any building from inside our suite.
