Mya exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on previous reviews. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities and everything from our room to the rest of the grounds was very clean and well-maintained. A lot of attention to detail was given to the design and amenities in the room (we appreciated the thick fluffy towels, quality paper and bath products, shoe wipes, bottled water, etc). I forgot the gentleman’s name who greeted us near the huerta, but he was incredibly friendly and a wonderful asset to the team. Before dinner he gave us a tour of the garden and let us sample the many different plants that would later be used in our dinner at Olivea. The following day he also gave us a quick lesson on how to play pádel! Olivea was the best meal we had on our trip, and we regretted eating there our first night because it made the food in the rest of the Valle taste subpar in comparison. Everything from the garden was extremely fresh and flavorful and the chef really showcased each course beautifully. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and continued to emphasize on “farm to fork.” It was a great value to be included in our stay. We felt very relaxed and at home in the atmosphere at Mya. We enjoyed sitting by the pool, the privacy and soundproofing in the room, as well as getting a delicious pistachio cocktail by the fire pits at night. Lastly, we found the location near the main road to be ideal and provided easy access for traveling around the valley. If you stay at other hotels in Valle de Guadalupe, you might find yourself struggling to drive 15 min on uneven dirt roads every time you want to come and go from your hotel. Mya made everything so convenient and we can’t wait to come back again!

This is so trivial, but a sturdier luggage rack for the room.

Our room was very comfortable, and the staff were all very polite and helpful to us. They even let us borrow wine glasses and a bottle opener for some wine we brought back with us. We didn't try the pool, but it looked inviting, and we appreciated that there were plenty of comfortable place to sit outside. While we spent less time at the hotel than we expected, it would have been a nice place to hang out. There are also tables at the back of the property where you can hang out later at night, which was both nice to have and meant we didn't have to deal with any loud partygoers, since anyone who wanted to make noise could simply hang out there. We thought it was a little odd that so much of the property is dedicated to tennis courts, but in general, the grounds are very pretty. While we didn't use it much, the wifi was reasonably fast and worked well in the entire property. We also appreciated the abundant hot water and efficient AC. Most of my experiences with hotels in the Valle de Guadalupe is that they are either incredibly basic or ridiculously expensive. This hotel offers a nice place in the middle where you don't have to pay $400/night but still get a comfortable, luxurious experience.

The breakfast was on the small side, and the menu had limited options, but the fact they offered it at all was a nice bonus. We didn't appreciate that on Sundays, they have music that was so loud, we could barely hear each other. Finally, when we came back the first night, we had to wait a while for the guard to let us in. However, this wasn't that big of a deal, since he was just doing his rounds, and I understand the hotel isn't big enough to employ two security people for the night shift. Still, maybe the hotel could give guests a remote to let themselves in. Otherwise, we don't really have any complaints.

Everything! The peaceful, botanical spa vibes made the experience feel so serene. The heated pool was spotless and available the entire time. The staff was genuinely warm, attentive, and made us feel very safe and cared for. The restaurant was excellent—great food, great service, and the house wine was a lovely surprise at such a fair price. Every detail felt intentional.

The architecture and design of the hotel and gardens that comprise the grounds are spectacular. The rooms are very attractive and comfortable. The common area around the pool is especially pleasing. Breakfasts under the olive tree canopy were fabulous. (Homemade cinnamon rolls, cheese, fruit, meat, bread, coffee, avocado toast, fresh squeezed orange juice.). The on-site restaurant, which has a handsome wine 'cave', served local wines & liquors, and creative cuisine that was artfully presented and delicious. The staff from reception to waitstaff are hospitality professionals. Any problems that arose were immediately addressed. Everyone in our party of 8 was impressed with the hotel, grounds, restaurant and staff.

It was situated close to the road so there is some road noise but the rooms are sound proofed so it wasn't a problem.

This is a nearly-new property & very clean & well taken care of. We met the owner during our visits to the on-site restaurant. Overall this is one of the nicer places to stay in the Valle, close to several of the nicest wineries in the Valle.

They were very slow with food services. Our first breakfast onsite was delayed because the chef was over an hour late arriving for work. This is sort of common in Mexico from my experience, you just cant be in a hurry. To the hotel's credit, they did serve a large cinnamon roll with nice coffee service while we waited.

The restaurant, the pool, the room, the staff - everything was perfect and couldn't have asked for more for our weekend getaway. The hotel is close to all the wineries and only 15 min from the coast as well which makes hitting all the highlights super easy! If you are looking for a serene, beautiful and romantic place in the middle of the Guadeloupe wine country, this is your new favorite!

I wish there was a bar for a casual drink but we didn't mind just sitting in the restaurant to have a nightcap

Honestly the rooms were super clean and warm! I've stayed in other hotels in Valle in the past, and sometimes I feel like I will freeze. Everything seems brand new. My partner and I felt like royalty. There is a pool in the center and it was super beautiful the way it lights up the night. There are 3 Padel courts which somehow blends into the scenery beautifully. Honestly, a complete package. You can’t stay in Mya hotel without mentioning the restaurant, it’s honestly to die for. True farm to table, they take care of the vegetables like I’ve never experienced.

Nothing , I liked everything.

Loved the location, very close to many of the wineries. The pool was nice, the restaurant and it's food was amazing. The staff was very helpful. They were understanding of my late arrival, having to cross from Otay into the Tijuana Airport to get our car rental and then drive to this location. They greeted us right when we parked with a smile and our room keys. Will definitely book here again on our next trip to Valle De Guadalupe

We’ve been coming to Valle for many years (we even got married here!) and of all of our trips, our stay at Mya was at the top. The staff and owner are amazingly kind, the rooms are new, cute, and very nice. They have a delicious onsite restaurant (Olivia), tennis/pickleball courts, and a pool. The vibes were right, the staff was amazing, and we’ll definitely be back and telling our friends and family to visit as well.

Nice design everywhere, impressive landscaping,lovely professional staff, exceptional restaurant, nice breakfasts and wonderful fire pit lounging. The organic farm to table using their own garden. Lovely on site owners.

Restaurant only open for tasting menu dinners. Pool area gets sun for only part of the day.
