Fabulous architecture,' fairyland'! Our room was high up ,with a great view from our balcony Very nice pool and landscaping. The beautiful beach is great for children, very calm and clear, great for snorkeling, we rented equipment there.

Very slow checkin, surely it could be automated or less paperwork. Rather a nuisance having to wait for a cart every time we needed to go to our room. Even then, there are steep stairs from the pool and restaurants. This would be a problem for many people. Our coffee maker didn't work, we would have preferred a kettle so we could make tea. Our room was clean but the balcony next door had old coke cans throughout our 3 day stay! We didn't have a meal plan and wanted a small breakfast, not the buffet. The restaurant staff obviously didn't want to bring us a menu. Each day this was a problem, though when we checked in we were assured this was available .

The hotel is now a classic and the rooms are perfect for a family holiday. All staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast was generous and always available. Parking was good and security was there. Despite the hotel has overseen our agreement for a special room for a person with limited mobility, they fix it upon arrival, it took a bit of time but they did the best.

Some parts of the hotel could use some maintenance, such as the beach canopies and some of the lifts. Some communal areas were left unclean, such as the pool terrace and beach, where guests would leave rubbish and it would take staff time to clean up. However, this is mostly a problem caused by the guests.

The views. The hotel manager.

The front desk staff was incompetent. It took over an hour to check in and there were only 2 people ahead of me. The manager got involved because the reception staff didn’t have good enough English to answer a couple of simple questions (late check-out procedure, a place to leave our luggage while we were fishing). The manager was great. The pool service was great. But reception was very frustrating and neither of the people working seemed to care AT ALL about customer satisfaction or a huge line building up. They were actually rude.

The Hotel quoted me a high price but I had seen that the prices on booking.com the prices per night were muchmore reasonable; so Ilked the price I got for what would normally be a very expensive room. I think this hotel is one of the most interesting I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in Many around the world.the architecture itself is absolutly lovely. it reminds me of something antonio goudi might have designed.

for what i paid nothing

Conservation of facilities Friendly staff Peaceful Good breakfast Private beach Location

Unfortunately, we witnessed a health incident involving some guests. An elderly man experienced a non-serious health issue; however, this exposed the inadequate training and attention to emergencies and medical incidents. None of the staff or management seemed to have basic medical training, and they were unfamiliar with using a blood pressure monitor. The bathroom had 2 sinks, but one of them wasn't working. Overall, it's an old hotel that is well-maintained, but there are quite a few things that need improvement. The rooms have a strange smell, like pipe or dampness.

There was a good variety of food, loved the omelette station and the customer service was very friendly.

I reserved a room for my family 3 adults and a 15 year old and they wanted me to get another room for my daughters which I didn’t understand why when the room has two beds. I think they’re trying to get more money; besides that we had a great time with my family next time I will probably reserve directly with them.

staff help, golf cart transportation, maintenance issues were dealt with promptly,

Los Delphine salads were extremely small for the price ! My shrimp dish was bad, shrimp were pre cooked and reheated and very chewy. I stopped eating there even though my stay was for 3 weeks. The setting of the restaurant is superb and the staff attentive. There should be a daily bulletin in English as to what is going on in the hotel as to entertainment and restaurant hours etc. The overly loud music with the incessant base beat was very hard to endure especially late at night.

The beach is lovely, as is the location of the resort beside a little harbour with several independent restaurants. The architecture is charming.

The property is fine for families but would be totally unsuited to older or disabled guests because access to everything is via many stairs and there are few elevators in the main areas. On our visit, staff were very friendly. Exceptions were : staff at checkin who were uninformed and/or gave totally wrong information about what we were entitled to; at the Hotel Store one of our group bought an expensive snorkel that didn’t work. There was no refund offered - only the option to take other merchandise he didn’t want, so I would be wary of buying anything there.
