I had room 2 and it was great! Given the price and the view of the sea from the kitchen and deck outside the room, I felt that it was a great value and wished I had stayed more nights. I will be back the next time I am in Zihua. I had to do some work while I was there and the wifi is fantastic. Added bonus: The deck outside the room is a great place to launch a drone to take nice pictures of the sea.

Well, I was trying to think of something I didn't like about the hotel, and I guess the only thing is that you have to pass through the restaurant to get to the beach, and the waitstaff at the restaurant can be a little pushy trying to get you to sit down and eat. They really shouldn't bother hotel guests like that who are just passing through. ...but I'm not sure this is the hotel's fault. I understand that the restaurant is under new management so I'm not certain it is even connected to the hotel anymore. But if it is... the restaurant staff should be elegant and helpful rather than pushy.

I really liked that the hotel was right on Playa Madera and within walking distance to so many good restaurants. It's also a major enough hotel in the area that tour companies picked us up from it, meaning we didn't have to walk elsewhere to meet up with the tours we purchased. The air conditioning kept the room quite comfortable.

It took us a couple of days to discover where we could and couldn't go, but that was because our arrival flight was so delayed that we got to the hotel quite late.

I absolutely loved staying at the hotel with its stunning ocean view! It was just a few steps away from the sandy beach, making it so easy to enjoy those sun-soaked days by the water. Plus, the nearby pier was perfect for leisurely strolls, and there were plenty of delicious food options and restaurants right around the corner. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise!

We used the kitchen, but there was no soap, and the shampoo dispenser would not work.

Absolutely excellent stay! We came with a group of friends and family and everything was so nice. The gentleman at the front desk, Ricardo, he was so very helpful and answered many questions for us. Very good service.

The shower water didn't seem to get very hot, but, it maybe I didn't run it long enough. I wish the kitchen had a microwave. None of these things take away from the experience I had though, it was wonderful.

The location was great for our purpose of being close to town and being on the beach. The staff was super helpful. The huge semi-private patio was great.

The bed could have been a little softer, but that is a personal preference thing😀. And the kitchen could have been equipped a little more, for instance a metal coffee filter for the pot would be nice so guests don’t have to hunt down paper ones. Although the little store across the street had them, so the hunt wasn’t too hard. The bathroom was right next to/below check-in front desk and you could hear things very clearly as well as the room next doors toilet business.

I loved the peace the area provided. Zihuatanejo is extra quiet compared to Ixtapa.

The outlets in the room need to be changed so they can hold the chargers; the TV needs to be replaced, we were not able to watch anything because either the controls didn't work or the TV wouldn't respond. Also, a better check out experience (faster) would be great. My sister had to run back to get the towels in our room so we could speed up the process.

We booked it for the location and view but will return for the staff. From our being received , to our bags being delivered to our room and the restaurant staff that first meal, we felt special. The location is perfect!

The bathroom tile was tired and looked dirty although I’m sure it was only stained grout.

Location was fantastic!! The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Madera's restaurant had great people, not too impressed with the breakfast but the snacks were good & dinner was really nice there. Staying at the resort gets you lounge chairs on the beach which were nice.

We've been to Zihuantanejo many times, this was the first time we stayed at Arenas Suites. We loved the location and having the beach right there. We also enjoyed the restaurant Madaris many times, especially for breakfast. Being able to eat right on the beach is a real bonus..

Everything was great! No complaints.

Recommend close to other good restaurants and the Central Area beautiful walk along the ocean nice staff at the restaurant Riverdale and desk helpful ordered me a taxi to go back to the airport carried up my luggage just enjoy
