The view from our 20th floor room was fabulous. The beach is private (no vendors) and there are plenty of loungers and palapa huts. The pools are large and beautiful, and again plenty of loungers. Lifeguards are present in both locations. There’s a nice kiddy pool. We saw whales and dolphins several times from our room or the pool area. The stargazing is also very good. Bring binoculars! The food is good, and the specialty restaurants are very nice. The staff throughout the hotel are excellent! Free 7 km bike tours are offered 3x per week. Sign up with the concierge, spaces are limited. A good way to see part of Ixtapa. One of the tennis courts has been converted to two pickleball courts, and we enjoyed our games.

The waves are bigger than in Zihuatanejo Bay, so be careful. There’s no evening entertainment, which some may find to be a drawback, but that wasn’t important to us.

The food was excellent, offering a great variety of flavors and fresh options. The pools are spacious, and I particularly appreciated their depth, which was ideal for both relaxation and swimming. A standout feature of the hotel is its private beach, adding a luxurious and exclusive touch to the experience. The staff provided outstanding service, always attentive and friendly. Additionally, the facilities are well-maintained, modern, and impressively large, ensuring comfort throughout our stay. Highly recommend Hotel Brisas for a memorable getaway!

One small drawback was the absence of mimosas during breakfast, which felt like a missed opportunity for a morning treat Additionally, the bars opened later in the morning than I expected, which required some patience if you were hoping for a morning cocktail. While these details might be minor to others, they were slightly inconvenient for my personal preferences.

The hotel is amazing. It has the most beautiful views and the beach is top-notch. Watching the sunset every day either from the balcony or the beach itself was an unforgettable experience. We were even lucky enough to see turtles hatching and racing to the ocean.

Overall it was great. However, we had some issues with our room. The coffee machine wasn’t working, the toilet was clogged, the safe stopped working and the pipes kept making noises. The staff, though, was very responsive and helpful and tried to fix every problem.

The view was great and beach and large grounds were beautiful. Staff were friendly and room was cleaned and freshened everyday. Beds were very comfortable. All the hotel areas were clean and in v good condition. The pools were nice as well. Appreciated that there was a fitness centre. The lobby bar and lounge had the best cooling breeze... great place to sit and read or have a glass of wine.

The prices for the buffet and meals were somewhat high. Also although waiters were very pleasant - there were a few misunderstandings and disappointments in the meals I ordered in Bellavista restaurant ( b/c my Spanish is not good enough and waiter's English not great either. The other two restaurants were very good... the Mexicana and the Italian restaurant. This is a somewhat difficult hotel for people with some mobility or balance issues.. Stair railings going down from pool to beach are at a very low level and hard for people to reach. Sometimes the railings did not start until after the first one or two stairs...leading to fear of falling. Also some of the equipment in the fitness centre did not function at all or not well.

Nice room, if a little dated. The beach was hands-down the best feature of this hotel. Private, beautiful water with more waves than the sheltered Zihuatanejo.

Took an hour to check in. We had to queue for ages to enter restaurants. They weren’t even that busy, lots of vacant tables, just really sloppy service. The hammock on the balcony slams into the side of the jacuzzi so you cannot use it, it’s just for decoration. Couldn’t order room service one night because they were too busy. No ice in the ice machines. Not really 5 star standard to be honest, but the beach was awesome.

What a fantastic experience at Las Brisas. I loved that the sound of the sea is always present. You are ON THE BEACH. Staff is very nice, the room is big and extremely confortble, food was delicious, the beach is almost private but with a rough tide, so be aware. I liked everything. I went alone for a weekend with myself in a private hotel and beach, so I just got there and relax on the beach for two full days!

It's a bit appart from everything but if you want to scape the noise of the city this is the perfect plan.

This is the second year we have gone to Las Brisas. This year we upgraded to a Junior Suite with private jacuzzi . Beautiful room. Staff are wonderful.

I did not like the booking.com advertise this room comes with minibar. This indicates that the minibar would be stocked and you could enjoy a drink in the hot tub. In fact the fridge is mt and no drinks are allowed to be brought up to room. The hotel staff even agreed this description in not correct. They offered to bring up a bottle of wine but never did. As this was a special celebration we were disappointed with booking.com. Please change your description of the room to mini fridge not minibar.

Everything. Beautiful property exceptional architecture and setting in a botanical garden with a private beach. Great facilities excellent restaurants. Friendly staff very professional. Beautiful rooms with ocean view. Clean rooms plenty of toiletries. Highly recommended.

On site stores are extremely expensive as is transportation service to Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. Taxis charge a much higher rate than from city to hotel just because you can't really have an alternative to get to city otherwise.

From our balcony spotted whales off the beach, one lot mum and her pup. The views were spectacular. Listening to the surf whilst in bed great.

The mattresses had a plastic covering, pillows not suitable for a good sleep. The duvet was heavy, had to take it out. A sheet was all required to sleep.

We first came to this hotel 30 years ago. Always loved that every room has an ocean view and hammock. Its a big hotel but love how it is nestled into the environment. For a big resort - it is not too overwhelming. The beach is fantastic but the waves are powerful and you need to be cautious.

I didn't like the whole all inclusive part. We didn't sign up for that- but it takes away from the quaility of foood and beverage experience.
