We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was a good choice. The location is very central and is close to the metro station which was important for us as we were in Mexico City to watch the Formula 1. Check in was very easy and although our room was not ready (we were 3 hours early for check in) we were able to leave our bags and returned later and our bags had already been placed in our room. The room was spacious but the bathroom but the mattress was very hard. Our room faced the street and although there was a lot of music during the day time on the street, it is very quiet after 7.00pm. There was also black out curtains in the room which made the room extra dark during the night . The bathroom is tiny, you struggle to turn around but it has everything you need including a hairdryer that works. Breakfast was great. There was a variety of cereals, bread, cakes, as well as traditional hot Mexican breakfast food. You can also order pancakes and eggs cooked several different ways which was includes in the price. The restaurant staff were very friendly. One final thing, the wifi was good in all areas of the hotel. I`d happily stay at this hotel again

There was nothing that I didn`t like. However there is no air con, fridge or safe in the room. However, I knew about these things when I made the booking so I can`t complain. I would have given the hotel a 10 if the room had these facilities.

Well located near the Zocalo, Francisco Madero street and other important attractions of Mexico City. Restaurants and services are at a walkable distance, as well as a metro station. Comfortable, clean rooms. Pretty quiet. Only thing I missed was a safe. The street itself can get hectic because of shops blasting music through loudspeakers. Fortunately, I didn't hear anything while inside the hotel. It does get a bit desolate at night. I walked there pretty late with no issues, but street lighting isn't the best so be warned. There's a nice restaurant in the hotel. Good food options nearby too: at less three taquerias a few minutes away. Overall a great experience, can recommend it to anyone wants to stay in the Centro Historico of Mexico City.

I stayed here because of the location and being a good value. Those are the 2 things I look most for. The street in front can be noisy with stereo music systems as this is the block that sells all that stuff! At check in they asked if I wanted to move to a balcony room at the same charge. NO I said as the noise would be even worse. At night though the noise is gone. Rooms have no a/c and no heating. You usually dont need either though. I would stay here again, The rate does not included the breakfast buffet. They have a sign 280 pesos. Well if you prebook there is a rate for the buffet to be included and you wont pay that much if you include when booking. Or you can walk to the left until you see a place with a 99 peso breakfast. Its not a buffet though, A reminder as I forgot to bring them on this trip but bring ear plugs ALWAYS no matter where you go. I looked to find them here and nobody had them or most were thinking I wanted electronic ear buds!!!! Today I saw a drug store with 3 for for 159 peso!!!! I have checked out of that hotel and the one Im in now is even noiser! I got a cannister of several hundred at home I will put some in every possible travel bag I might grab,

For what I paid I was satisfied. If they ever could come across cheap enough ear plugs would be nice if they could put some in the rooms. Those though are usually in hotels that charge a lot more. Mexico no matter where is OFTEN noisey.

The location was emblematic in the heart of the Old Town. It was easy for me to walk to various meeting points for my tours, i.e. el Museo de Bellas Artes, etc. My room was quiet and clean. There is also a very nice restaurant that served delicious breakfast.

The shower was a bit awkward - the water was too dispersed and I couldn't adjust it to make a more concentrated spray. Probably for the same reason the bathroom floor kept getting flooded.

So clean! And the staff is so nice. The only thing is the noise of the street El Salvador which is known for the speakers and electronic devices sold there. They do not respect anybody so they display their products with the highest volume ever and the most popular music. If you are looking for a silent place, do not ask for a room facing the street. But, it is an excellent option. The location is great, if you like to walk and are a curious person, plus, the bus stop is almost right in front. There are several subway stations: San Juan, Juárez , Bellas Artes, as well as Macrobus lines and the Trolley to Central del Norte or Central del Sur runs just around the corner on Eje Central. It has a very clean restaurant and you have all the Centro Histórico to enjoy.

The noise of the businesses but it is not their fault.

The bed and bathroom are very clean. The inside decor of the room is also very good. The staff is helpful. Though most of them don't understand English but they try to help. The hotel has a restaurant where you can get a sumptuous breakfast. The location is excellent and at the heart of the downtown and you can reach most of the historical places on foot.

An electric kettle would have been very helpful for the boarders. No glass or cup saucers provided in the room.

Good location. Helpful staff. Clean and very spacious king-size room. Good breakfast with great fresh juices and a variety of Mexican food that changed every day. Bed was comfortable, but the blanket kept sliding off the bed. I’ll give this hotel a high recommendation.

It was on a noisy street. Thankfully when the shops closed for the night the street quieted down.

spacious, Hotel has good restaurant and open till late. plenty of good restaurants near by. Walkable to city center. There are electronics stores surrounding this hotel and they play loud music, but that didn't disturb or felt anything inside. And they close at 7pm so should not be a problem at night.

wifi was dropping a bit now and then. As i was working from there ,felt this.

The staff is really kind and helpful. From the restaurant to the reception, not forgetting the housekeeper Alicia, that made my stay more comfortable. I loved their breakfast variety. Got to try most of their food and fell in love with Mexican cuisine and that special mix of fruits juice Don Luis recommended me! 😍 Best part: I missed my flight and had to go back to the hotel. They accommodated my belongings in a different room while I tried to take advantage of the situation and left early morning to the museums. The picture is from the second room I was in for one night.

Cute, clean and quiet. Excellent location. You have the option to include breakfast which I would probably get next time as it was difficult to find open places to eat early. The Metrobus stopped right in front of the hotel when we arrived from the airport.
