The staff are really nice, helpful, and accommodating. It’s a short 15 min walk downhill to town and feels like you’re at a tranquil retreat. The bed was large and comfortable, the room was spacious, and the shower had lots of hot water. When we asked about a shared fridge to store some basics, they brought a mini/ fridge to our room! The grounds are beautiful and the views cannot be beat, and true romantic getaway.

We were told breakfast was included but it was not. The room we booked had a tv but there was no cable, so they moved us to another room with a smart tv so it was all good. The second room had very little places to put clothing, no closet, no towel racks or hooks, not even a toilet paper holder. For the price, we thought the amenities would be just a little nicer and functional. Great stay overall though.

Stunning setting and beautiful house with spectacular views of Lake Patzcuaro. Gardens, flowers everywhere and tranquility.

Had to argue with breakfast staff about our breakfast being included, which was slightly uncomfortable. Need better communication between made hotel management and restaurant staff. Breakfast was good, once we got over that hurdle! Also the location was slightly remote from town but still walkable.

The location is stunning and so peaceful. Spacious rooms, helpful staff. A 10/15 minute walk to the town centre which was fine and easy to get a cab back if you need to.

Only two channels on the TV, which our 13 year old wasn't impressed with.

We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The location on the hillside with the view of beautiful lake Pátzcuaro is breathtaking. The resort is just so tastefully decorated and well maintained and the rooms were huge. And last but not least, the staff is simply amazing: super nice, very helpful and engaged. We were there for the famous Día de los Muertos celebrations in town and were pleasantly surprised to learn that two dinners with delicious traditional food - one with a great presentation of traditional dances and the other followed by a magical nightly tour through the surrounding pueblos to see the festivities in the different communities - were included in our booking. It was just all so well organized and executed and felt really authentic. We felt truly spoiled and fortunate to have had this first-class experience and highly reccomend this place. A big thank you to the entire team!

That being said, the Mexican highlands do get quite chilly at night during the winter months. The hotel does offer heaters in all the rooms, but bring really warm clothes nevertheless. Especially if you are used to central-European heating standards you might get cold.

Unique location. Beautiful view. Still just a short stroll to the center. Wonderfully relaxing.

This place is magical, it sits at the top of a small cliff with amazing views. Was extremely surprised with the cleanliness they had. The room was very big and the bed was amazing. Enjoy our stay very much!

There was a lot of confusion with if they had breakfast or not. We were given a menu but in the morning we were told there wouldn’t be any. It’s nicely located but the fact it has no food available makes it an inconvenience to have to leave the property. Also, the jacuzzi took extremely long to fill. We had the water running for 3 hours and the water wasn’t even to the half way mark
