Loved that EVERYTHING was included in the all-inclusive. There was a "pantry" that is open 24 hours that has a variety of snacks, including soft serve ice cream, sandwiches, etc. It was a great and very relaxing atmosphere!

It was a long wait in the lobby area after check-in. We had to wait for the bell hop to come transport us on a golf cart to our room.

Lots of pools to choose from, so it doesn’t feel busy or overcrowded. A really beautiful natural setting with Iguanas everywhere. Buffet was delicious with great vegetarian options. Just a real family friendly setup with our toddler and definitely not a party scene.

The “snack bar” could do with some improvements to the menu to make it more of a lunch venue. Shuttle bus to the beach could start earlier. 11am is the first bus and with a toddler that needs midday naps still, we could only get down there for an hour or so in the afternoon. But we didn’t mind just hanging by the pools most days anyway. Our deck looked out the back of the complex into a drainage ditch at first it was a little disappointing but getting up early with the toddler we’d listen to the birds and other creatures waking up and do some more Iguana spotting.

We loved waking up on the mountainside. The location of the hotel is beautiful! For the price we paid the food was on par but could've been better. The guitar duo in the sports bar was great and we really enjoyed listening to them. If you're there on the weekend they have a taco truck which I think was the best food we had. The beach club has a better lunch than the hotel lunch restaurant. I'm not vegan but the vegan ceviche was very good! Being in the tree canopy is just beautiful. We liked the almost individual sized pools.

Since the hotel is on the mountainside it is somewhat difficult to get around. I would not recommend this hotel if you are mobility impairments. Getting a golf cart from the front desk can be a wait or difficult as they are first come first serve if you don't call to request. Limited options on food. Spa and reservation only restaurant fill up quickly so be sure to reserve/coordinate at time of check in- we didn't and didn't get to enjoy those amenities. We didn't have a problem getting to the beach club (earlier better as there are limited loungers) but the pick up shuttle was late/didn't show as scheduled so be sure to tell your server you are wanting to leave just in case the shuttle is MIA.

We got a free room upgrade when we found out room not ready. Lots of swimming pools. Snack bar food was great. Beach club provides another activity in the resort which is nice

Someone defecated in the lazy river, it was disgusting. There was a blackout for several ours are which caused the water slide don't work, also the kids zone. We ran out of toilet paper also the shampo was not refilled.

The location is great, I loved they have a beach club even though they are in the middle of the jungle, that is just amazing! They offer you snack, the quesadillas were amazing!

They just have one buffet restaurant, they need to have more variety, also for the capacity, the food is great there but since they just have one buffet restaurant, sometimes you have to wait too long to get a table,

Great staff. Yanet & Miranda on tower 5 with house keeping kept our rooms so comfortable. Joel on tower 5 restaurant and pool worked so hard. We were never thirsty or hungry. Migel at the beach club was the nicest and also refused to let us go thirsty. We were there during a level 4 hurricane Lidia and the hotel kept us so safe and comfortable - even having pools open within 24 hours and restaurants within 12 hours. The whole town of la Cruz has no power and the hotel ran on generators without any stall in service. The pantry was such an asset. Small with 4 restaurants but great quality food.

We really enjoyed it all and was so impressed by the safety and detail and quality provided to us.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly. The food truck was great (for meat eaters!) and the Teppanyaki restaurant was great. We loved the beach and beach club restaurant and all of the pools. We also had a massage at the spa which was very good.

We felt our room could have been cleaner, there wasn’t much choice for vegetarians from the buffet.

From the staff food drinks facilities excellent pools were always cleaned by staff

Room dirty had mold on shower wall. Room was never cleaned we had to call to get it cleaned last two nights I just asked for clean towels. Avoid Japanese restaurant not worth it they are in a rush for you to order . One of the cooks was sweating a lot and the sweat was dripping on hot cooking grill. On booking it said best view ever on mountain lols

The staff were so friendly, kind and accommodating. The mexican food was fantastic; ceviche, tacos, quesadillas. Breakfast was wonderful. My room was lovely. The pools were clean and well attended. Beach club was beautiful. Tons of activities to do.

Incredible property! It was so beautiful and well kept, great food options at all times of the day and super friendly staff. The beach front area was also magnificent and convenient to access with the shuttle. We stayed in a villa which was beautiful and had a phenomenal view of the property below. It was quiet and peaceful! We definitely plan on returning.
