location, large room, comfortable king bed, safe, heat, roof top restaurant, elevator, large screen tv with Netflix! Lots of positives!

No handrail on four stairs leading into our room, no tabletop space on side tables next to the bed, no hangers in closet, no shelving or dresser for clothes, no electric outlet at desk for charging cell phones, very limited counter area in bathroom, awkward and unsafe entry and exit from tub/shower, no fitted sheet on mattress, no water glasses. Some minor improvements would make this a great stay!

their snack menu isn’t great, overpriced and average food. the King room right next to the elevator (305) is not big and not like the King room advertised on booking.com, and you can hear the music from the bar and people in the elevator. i asked to be moved to 307 when I saw the bigger King rooms being cleaned which was almost twice the size. If you get the King room right next to the elevator, ask for a bigger room.

Felt like a luxury hotel and totally worth it for the price. Very comfortable bed, hot shower with good water pressure, fast internet, plenty of space in the room. Location in the middle of the historic center. Would definitely stay again.

Received a message through Booking.com that check-in was from 3-5pm only, and after that the reservation would be cancelled, despite the fact they have a 24 hour front desk. We arrived during that window but the message seemed very strange. If you plan to arrive after 5pm, make sure to check with the hotel so they don’t cancel your reservation.

The room itself was very pleasant, nice comfy beds and furniture to keep all your belongings. The location is also great—quite central. There’s a nice rooftop bar that nobody told us about, there are no signs anywhere, but we discovered it on our last evening when we looked for one on google.

We booked a room with a bathtub because we wanted to take a bath, but there were anti-slip stickers on the bottom (I know they’re for safety, but still) that had mold, so we just took showers instead. We were also taking a bus to Puebla, which could have been delayed since it was a Sunday, and we had experienced some delays with buses in the past few days. So, I texted them to let them know there was a chance we might arrive a bit later. They replied that check-in was only between 15:00 and 17:00 and our reservation would be canceled automatically at 17:00. Thankfully the bus was on time and we made it. There was always someone at the reception, so I don’t understand why there was zero flexibility.

Weird check in time only between 15-17:00, which to me doesnt make sence when there is an employee at the reception at any hour anyways -_- After showering the shower drain smelled horribly but it went away quickly. You can also hear quiet a lot of things from around the room but it was quiet at night :) Not the best view from the room, but we only came to rest and sleep so it wasnt a problem.

*the hotel is in the city center *the room is big and the bed is comfortable *very good value for money when booked with Genius (we saw that the prices advertised by the hotel itself were a little higher than the amount we paid) *the hotel has a private parking

*our room did not have natural light, the only windo facing an inner corridor accessible to all the other guests on the floor, so it was not even possible to keep the curtain open. *a water station on each floor or at least water available at the reception would have been nice

Our stay in Hotel Diana met out expectations. The Hotel is in a beautiful colonial building that has been lovingly updated. It's in a mere 5 minute walk to the Zocala and other tourist sights.. There are an abundance of restaurants and cafes nearby. The on-site cafe serves a fantastic breakfast. The rooftop bar has an incredible view. Our room was huge, with 2 Juliette balconies looking out onto the street. Large wooden doors (probably original) blocked the noise and the cold temperatures. All staff from reception to cafe to bar, were very friendly and accommodating.

Our only complaint is that the rooms run off an open courtyard. Occasionally, the noise of other guests coming to their rooms from the courtyard would disturb our sleep. On one occasion, the music in the courtyard was extremely loud. But, with a call to the front desk, the volume was immediately lowered. Also, it should be noted that the "suite" did not have a separate room but was quite large with a desk and comfy chair.

Great location, free valet parking, comfy bed

As other reviewers noted, the hotel sends an email a few days after the booking saying that check in is from 3-5 or the reservation is cancelled. I arrived around 1:30 and was able to pay, but told the room wouldn’t be available until 3. They then sent me a message saying that the checkin was from 3-5 and would be cancelled after UNLESS paid prior. So get there early to pay and you are fine.

I stayed here because the staff was so kind and welcoming. Jerardo at the front door saw me looking in the lobby one evening and suggested I come in and have a drink on the rooftop terrace, which had amazing views. I checked in to the hotel the next day and every time I saw Jerardo for my 4-day stay, he made sure (in English) that all was going well.

You have to be ready for a little noise. My room faced the interior courtyard so I could hear people in the restaurant at breakfast-time.

Great location, very friendly and helpful english speaking concierge (thank you!), overall a clean and modern look & feel

We book two rooms and noticed a very high audibility, ie we could hear kids in the corridor, and music from the breakfast.. perhaps the music volume can be reduced? Breakfast was a bit slow despite we came late and were alone in the restaurant. The AC was okey but very loud. Otherwise we were happy with our staying, thank to the careful attention of our concierge who was very helpful.
