High floor room had a balcony and street view. Location is close to attractions, food, and shopping and still peaceful at night, A great aged building with great internal architecture worthy of photographs, a great restaurant with good affordable food, nice servers, and a very helpful and efficient reception staff. They have everything that a guest needs. As a bonus there is a nice bakery, park and Mexican street food vendors just next door..

This is a great place to stay. However in the night one side of the neighbourhood across the street is a bit dodgy. Also towels are worn out and should be replaced. They look more like mops. Shower style is old but one can live with it as a unique experience !!

We enjoy staying in a central location in a city which gives us access within walking distance of our hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable plus quiet. There was a kitchen to use which was clean and the staff member was available to speak with us in English. The rooftop balcony allowed us to sit and enjoy a drink after a long day of walking.

We enjoyed our stay and there was nothing that was not to like.

The room is very clean. Very good location. Hot shower. Good Wifi. The hotel is very close to Zocalo, esay to find and very quiet location. You can leave your baggages if your arrive before check-in time. If they ready your room, you can check-in before check-in time.

They assigned one room at the back of the Hotel,, it was ok since it was quiet . Since the room that I choose when I booked on photos showed a balcony but wasn't assigned to me . But as I said they got me an ok room it has a table 2 chairs a safe box . What I liked the most about Hotel San Angel it's close to everything Down Town. You have Food around and Zócalo it's 4 blocks away.

They don't have A/C or Fan . So if you travel on summer time and if you like to stay during the day keep that in mind. But I gotta say that Puebla it's fresh at night.

Proximity to downtown, friendly personnel, restaurant in the facility, lots of eateries around. Friendly and helpful personnel, good choice of different menus in the restaurant with very very competitive prices.

Wifi was intermittent, hot was wasn't available at all times. In the morning it was ok, but late in the night non existent. There were times I could smell the siphon/shower/sink drain.

Great location! The vegetable market around the corner and up the street. A comfortable distance from Zocalo and yet close to absolutely everything.

Comfortable beds, good location, free water, good breakfast and lunch available and inexpensive.

A little bit noisy from the street, but this is applicable to all central hotels in Puebla.

in the middle of the historic center, 5 minutes walk to the zocalo. The room has everything you need, pretty clean (didn’t needed it, but beds were changed every day) delicious bakery just across the street, laundry around the corner. Big plus was the free parking lot. Would stay here again

There was no hot water in the shower. We let it run for more than 5 minutes as suggested
