The roof top is awesome, great view

i felt the "price part" a litle tricky........ i booked and i got a price in pesos, at the hotel , they charge me in USD a a very high rate....... at the end y paid $2700 pesos instead of $1800 i've booked. =/ ***also the parking lot is not included, not even a discount for guests**** $300 pesos for the night looks expensive to me being a guest........

Everything was great, breakfast was wonderful, beds fantastic and pillows really nice!

Off street parking wasn't available, unless you paid extra, at a daily rate. Should be included in the hotel price. Misleading as parking was a specific request and it didn't say cost extra until we got there. If it was stated somewhere it must have been in the really fine print.......

Location is on the strip from a lot of food spots and about 10-15 mins from beach clubs and every other lounge out there. The strip has pretty much anything you need while you are there. And the front desk and staff were very helpful.

I didn’t like that parking wasn’t included in stay and $15 dollars a day, but you can park right outside of property for free, so it wasn’t that bad. The key card doesn’t work in the elevator like it’s suppose too, you will figure it out after a couple of times trying to get to your room. No ice machines, have to go to the bar or bother the staff all the time for ice. Breakfast was ok, not the best. Didn’t like the huge washcloths.

Valeria the manager was super friendly and helpful, showing me rooms before booking. Rafael at the front desk also a good listening and helpful in guiding day trips. Hotel had a new crisp feel, location wasn’t perfect but more than decent. Jungle Room really nicely done with plants in windows. Showers modern touch. Pool and gym were great features, and food was also tasty.

Excursion company was harsh in their approach and lacked service orientation and understanding of realities for tourists. In the big picture however, the Hotel staff themselves more than made up for it with their friendly service and understanding.

Aloft was an amazing stay. The room was larger than average and it had everything we needed. The destination fee of $20/day was worth paying for as it basically gave us a $20 credit on food/drinks in the hotel, plus a bunch of other added benefits (transport and entry to Yal-ku lagoon, 2 free drinks every day). The staff was also very nice and helpful!

The location is not technically the city center, so you would need to get a taxi to get there even though it is just about 3km away. Be prepared to get ripped off by the taxis every single time ("standard 250 pesos" is what the taxi drivers said even if it is a 5 min ride). You could walk that distance if you're with a big group, but probably wouldn't recommend it if you are solo or couple. The dining options along the street are so-so. Nothing I would go back to.

Neat and tidy. Pool was very clean and pool area nice. No complaints.

Only downside was the area - I didn’t do enough research and didn’t feel particularly comfortable wandering around. I’d suggest being a lot closer to the ocean (it’s 2km away) or somewhere closer to the main streets to avoid having to walk a long way for entertainment etc. It was an extremely quiet area too so great if you’re just looking to relax with limited options. Property was fine. Clean, comfortable, allowed us to check in early and they also have a shuttle service which was far cheaper than any other we have used and was safe and reliable.

I liked everything for the most part. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the main city. There were lots of food options near by. The room was large, shower was exceptional, and the bed was comfy. Taxis were regularly there.

There was a lot of construction going on outside and our room would occasionally smell like exhaust. Also it said "breakfast included" which was not the case. For any Americans thinking its a complimentary breakfast, just know you have to pay for everything. Even the welcome drink is part of a $20USD payment you're expected to pay per day for the perks. If you're good with all of that, this place is great.

Aloft has got the rooftop pool vibe cornered. Chose this hotel because I'm training for a race and the gym was REALLY well equipped. Great cardio/good quality machines and a light airy space. Also a downstairs pool big enough for laps. Cute outside garden and lovely view across the jungle to the strip of sea in the distance.

The music POUNDED our room from the rooftop bar. Seeing as the only people staying were young families and other couples chilling out it seemed so, so unnecessary. I don't think there was anyone there. Tulum is the place to kick back and relax. Not everything needs to be club vibes and I had to call reception at 10pm and ask them to turn it down because the walls were vibrating. Staff were great and seemed to pass on the message, but this happened each night. Coffee was DIRE.

Good (for me) location between city center and beach (equally close or equally far). Spacious, generous room with all the facilities. Nice gym. Good breakfast. All in all a nice package.

The pools, garden and rooftop, are rather small, not really inviting. I did not like that I could not open the window of my room and it had no balcony neither, while you just cant switch off the AC. So it was always way too cold in my room. Really annoying and disturbing and uncomfortable, feeling freezed in a tropical environment and I could not do anything about it. Coupled with catching a cold I did not feel well in this room :/ I do not apreciate the standard sterile ambiance of this hotel, it really could be anywhere on Earth, totally lacking any relation with its surrounding.

Rooftop pool and the hotel overall was outstanding. Parking worked perfectly and frontdesk staff was totally service minded. Decoration of the hotel is really nice.

Staff seemed at bit overwhelmed, by the amount of guests wanting breakfast and the restaurant seemed too small. Long que of guests waiting to be seated for no apparent reason. We should have chosen to eat breakfast outside of the hotel Staff overall seemed to be not totally on top of cleaning. Our room wasn't cleaned
