Location is good, the common area is good to hang around.

The rooms upstairs (containers) are extremely small for two people, they should be sold as single rooms. The rooms downstairs are much bigger and spacious, suitable for two persons.

I loved the kitchen and being so closely connected with the nature around me.

the lady who was caretaking the place was friendly. The location was good for the price. In a last minute situation, for a private room with kitchen facilities, it was good value. Shower hot and functional. Aircon worked.

All feels a bit sketchy. Wouldn't let kids or elderly anywhere near the stairs.everything from plumbing to electrics kind of jerry rigged together. Mattresses are damp, paint flaking off ceiling onto bed. rooms in close proximity so your neighbours will keep you up, doesn't feel very private. Also no management per se so doesn't feel as safe as a hostel especially for the solo female traveller

Lovely vibe, the minimalist DIY/artsy aesthetic was great, pool on the top of the hostel was really cool (not big) but very refreshing. There is a lovely Integration of the place with a wooded space on one side, adding to the eco feel. When the weather was nice this place was incredible. Automation of check-in was pretty slick with good clear instructions. All details etc is automated so no staff interaction is required ( could be a plus or minus) we liked the novelty and speed of our check in so it was a plus for us. AC was outrageously good you could get the room down to bordering on arctic temperatures if you turned it right down.

Some of the automated messaging comes through as a little passive aggressive. (Probably due to the use of translate service) This is a shame because the hostel is run in a very friendly and accommodating way. If you like things to be very squared away and "up to code" this may not be the place for you, the handrails and stairs are gorgeous but hand-made and have no anti-slip etc. Rooms have exposed wires in places, (though perfectly safe as they have the rubber/plastic casing) this may be unsettling for some. If it's rainy there is very little escape, rooms are tiny (by design it's an eco lodge doy!) But even the covered balconies get very wet so if it is heavy rain you feel very cooped up as the only really dry space is your room. Having a bit more dry space, e.g making the rooves of the balconies more robust and adding some safety measures here and there would resolve the only real issues with this place and make it outstanding.

Good for 1 night stay

Walls were thin, we could hear other people talk. Water stopped pouring at night, we were not able to wash our hands after going to the toilets (if it stops only for the shower we would have understood) When we arrived, they were fixing the stairs to our room - don’t know if we would trust them though Smells were kind of horrible and it was too smelly.

Really nice location

The walls are so thin! I could hear the rooms beside me talking. My shower also leaked and so water got onto a bunch of my things.

Close enough to walk to the ruins. There are supermarkets nearby.

Unreliable hot water. Rickety steps. A lot of broken furniture.
