I booked this hotel as it was cheap and I expected it to reflect the price, I was so shocked! It's on an unmade road as the area is under going development but it's a great area, close to the main strip, lots of bars and resturants very close. The hotel itself.... WOW, honestly WOW! it's an absolute haven, a stunning forest in the middle of the city. The pool area is gorgeous, rooms were huge and very modern and clean. Breakfast was fantastic and the yoga (which is included) was brilliant. We stayed at Azulik and Panamera on the beach after this hotel and honestly, we just wanted to come back to Zenses as it was the best by a mile, and oddly a sixth of the cost as the others. We will be back, and we will stay here throughout the entire trip, just get an ATV or scooter and it's 5 mins to the beach. Staff, unreal and deserve the best tips ever!!! couldnt do enough. Thank you

A bar would be nice but equally there is a fridge in the room and a store around the corner so you can just buy your own, ice was available so it was perfect!

Everything. The rooms were beautiful, cosy, spacious and clean. Each room is quite far from the others, and inside it is like a forest, so the rooms are very intimate and private. It is the perfect place for a couple's trip, we still had an amazing time with my daughter as a family's trip. In the morning it is possible to take yoga classes which were very relaxing and a great discovery. The breakfast was also perfect and very copious. It's a place i'd recommend

Beautiful and boutique accommodation. Rooms are massive and very lovely and the pool is lovely to sit at. Breakfast also very yum and worth doing

The staff weren't overly friendly and it took me about 7 messages and over a month to get my deposit back. Please be very careful and ensure you get proof of return. Also we asked to go on a tour to Chichen Iza and cenotes, both of which I'd definitely recommend visiting but the tour company the hotel organised us for was terrible. Make sure you are not booked with Easy Tours and book without the hotel. We tried to give this feedback after the tour to the reception staff and they were very dismissive and didnt want to hear it. Overall though the good outweighed the negatives of the trip and we did enjoy overall the hotel

Large, beautifully decorated rooms and excellent value for money. The whole hotel, with its pool, feels like a peaceful oasis. We didn’t find the immediate surroundings as bad as some reviews suggest. Breakfast quality was great, and all the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful – special thanks to Sofia and the breakfast team! You can easily rent a scooter elsewhere, which we did to be a bit more flexible during our stay. We recommend Ernestos „Scooter Car ATV Bike rental tulum KIN Rental“, which is near the Resort.

A jungle oasis in the middle of Tulum! Beautiful room which is very large, clean and stylish. Very bohemian through out. Daily room cleaning which was great. DELICIOUS breakfast- we tried each one from their menu which they were able to make vegetarian! :) Wonderful staff & the morning yoga is a wonderful way to start the day! Dreaming of coming back!! Had a Swedish massage also- which was divine. Location is also great- the restaurants/town is a few minutes walk away. You can hire a bike/motorbike to cycle to the beach also which is about 20-30 mins away. Loved being close enough to downtown Tulum but being away in the quiet. We could also see how the locals lived when walking into town which was pretty nice to see.

Wish each room had a sunlit area outside to be able to dry clothes.. the area outside is shaded so unable to dry clothes out in the sun!

Zenses it’s located in the center where you can walk everywhere. But also quiet to provide you enough of privacy and silence. It has a fantastic pool and fantastic breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful friendly, they have helped us on everything and give us recommendations for all places. The room is very very big with a pretty good design. We were surprised how much space we had in the room. The hotel is designed as you feel like you’re in the jungle you woke up to the birds sound singing, and in the morning, they provides yoga classes for free, which were pretty good. We had a really amazing stay at this place. We really recommended it!

the service was top tier!!! everyone was very friendly and helpful. they even gave us tips to save money! never experienced that in Mexico ever. all the recommendations they gave are affordable and one of the best places/restaurants! shout out to rodrigo who guards at night and still cook us the best breaksfast with so much love and care. and with the a smile! so hard working! and to Oscar who gave us the best tips ever while were there. saved so much money with food, places, excursions and transportation. he made sure he finds us the best deals and made sure taci drivers and atv renters are not reaping us off! he works double shifts and yet always there to help us! cheers for having this kind of team!

The resort is very well located near the centre of Tulum and it feels like a jungle inside with loads of nature, tropical plants and very well designed. Oscar in the reception is outstanding very welcoming and friendly, he gave us good advice where to visit and what to do. We very much enjoyed playa Paraiso (paradise beach) and La Eufemia. The breakfast was very good, always fresh and with a nice bowl of fruits. Is good to see that there is no waste here as we could order what we wanted from the menu. Very well cooked and presented I felt it was made with love and care. Well done. Started the day with Yoga with Pauli, best way to start the day. She is very experienced and presents nice set of assanas that flow so well, felt connected to my body and space around. Aligned for the rest of the day. The room is beautiful and beautiful design. Very beach style and Tulum style. Very comfortable bed and amazing shower. Nice temperature and good silent air conditioning. The resort is very well looked after, clean and well cared. Thank you for all you do and putting it all together amazing staff, lady with short air always smiling, the chef very caring with food and Oscar made a big difference in our stay. Thank you for bring and thinking of Tulum as a sacred area needs to be looked after with nature and sustainability. Well done.

First of all, special thanks to everyone, who works at the hotel. Very kind and very professional. Our guardian angel, José, provided us with all the information we needed for our one week stay: where to go, where to eat, where to swim...we are grateful for his recommendations. We wanted rather local then touristic places. The hotel is in a quite neighbourhood, in jungle surroundings. At first, it might seem an unsafe road, but no worries, it is not. To get to the beach, you can walk (35-40 min) or ride a bike or take your car. Close by on foot, there are many restaurants, street food and supermarket. We loved our stay! Don't hesitate to ask the stuff for recommendations. Greetings from Hungary and Greece!

My advice would be to take spray for mosquitos, but if you forget, they will have it handy.

Ferre at the front desk was absolutely incredible. He immediately welcomed us like friends, and went above and beyond for us during our stay - even delivering us pizza to our room, and offering to come in early to make us breakfast on one shift - which of course we would never make him do! But he was amazing. The hotel itself was gorgeous - the rooms were huge, the beds comfy, the pool was AMAZING, and the friendly hotel cat Bisha were highlights. Breakfasts were delicious, and the hotel really wowed. We have zero negatives, and couldn't believe how lucky we were to find this place. I would reccomend it to everyone, we would have happily done our entire holiday here and skipped the beach hotel!
