The location is great, with free private parking and a great café for some delicious and affordable breakfast. The rooms were nice with good WiFi and the courtyard and pool area was lovely. Kind and helpful staff

We had an issue on our second night, at midnight the electricity in our room (only our room for some reason) stopped working due to the city’s electrical grid, which meant it got very hot without the AC and we didn’t sleep well. However, the next day the staff were really understanding and apologetic about the situation and they upgraded us into the suit with the private pool for our last night. This shows excellent customer service and proactivity, which is much appreciated :)

The location is great. It's an easy walk to the central square and the bus station. It seems like it's a family run hotel and they are very nice and friendly. There is a small restaurant at the hotel and the food is very good. The grounds of the hotel are very nice and clean.

Housekeeping didn't come to clean the rooms, take out the trash, or leave clean towels. Even after asking several times, they wouldn't come and when they did come, they didn't actually clean anything. If you can't flush toilet paper at your hotel then housekeeping needs to at least come and take out the trash every single day without being reminded.

Super cheap hostel, less than 10 minutes walk from the city centre. I only paid £6 per night for a bed in the very spacious, bright and airy 9-bed female dorm. There was a spacious veranda outside the room, with a little seating area, which overlooked the garden and pool area. In the room were three ceiling fans and air conditioning (from 10 pm - 7 am). There were also two large windows either end of the room, with curtains and windows that opened. Mosquito screens cover the windows and both doors. My bed and bedding were comfortable. A small locker (with padlock) is provided for each bed. Two sinks, two toilets and two showers are located just outside the room. Toilets are a bit cramped and the showers spacious, with plenty of hot water. There is a spacious, shared kitchen, with two stoves, fridge and lots of utensils, etc. There is also free drinking water. There is a little cafe / bar on site, which serves reasonably priced breakfast, lunch and drinks. There is also a communal garden space, which has a small swimming pool, sun lounges, table and chairs, and swings. WiFi worked very well during my entire stay. All staff were very pleasant, professional and helpful. I felt safe and secure at all times. The main gate is locked after 10 pm, so guests need to access the 24-hour reception instead.

Female dorm room was very basic: No privacy curtain on beds, no individual light, not even a little shelf! However, there are plug sockets by each bed. This very spacious room has super great potential. Better lighting and feature walls would make the space more authentic and inviting ... after all, this is Mexico: the land of culture, fiesta and colour!

We had the double bunkbed room for the one night as needed to do stuff locally. The other rooms had windows and balcony's but we were on a budget! The room was comfy, clean with modern shower (not common in this area) They were very accommodating and Estefania and Kevin helped us with what we needed - over and above their normal work so we were very grateful. Handy to leave bags when checking in/out late early! A few mins walk from the main square - and a little street noise but it gets quiet after 10pm. Would DEF stay here again. We really liked the shared kitchen (with water) as no fridge in our particular room and the picnic tables, friendly chill atmosphere with a bar and cafe. So you kind of have everything you need! There are only 2 sinks for a shared room of 8 people, and they’re very narrow so there’s not much space. Also the vibe is not the best to socialise, but maybe we were unlucky with the other people sleeping there as no one was willing to chat and they asked us to shut up because we were simply talking in the middle of the day. Pool seemed dirty so we didn’t use it

The hostel was close to the main part of town and easily walkable. There were some nice cafes and restaurants close by. We were able to check in late as there was a 24 hour reception desk. The hostel atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, with a lovely garden, places to sit and a pool. We were staying in the suite with private pool. The room was up it’s own set of stairs and was large and comfortable, with a TV, air con and a mini fridge. Our favourite part of our stay was the gorgeous private pool and terrace on the rooftop that was part of our suite- it was lovely to cool off in there after sightseeing on a hot day and relax in the evening with a few beers! For me this was a huge selling point for such a low price. Overall the hostel provided excellent value for money and we would recommend staying there.

There are one or two small things that could be done to improve the overall experience: 1- provide some hooks to hang wet towels on in the room 2- make it a little clearer that the rooftop pool is for private use of guests staying in the room. Several times we had other guests wandering up the stairs past our room (while getting dressed!) to go to the rooftop. It was a little awkward to tell them it was private. I think a sign at the bottom of the stairs would work. 3- a mat on the floor at the entrance to the bathroom is vital. The floor in the bedroom is very slippery if you have even slightly wet feet coming out of the bathroom. I fell and hurt my back and arm. Luckily I am young but if it happened to someone less mobile, it could have been really serious.

Clean, lots of space in room, nice private balcony, good natural light, good storage for clothes and backpack, use of pool, use of communal kitchen, free drinking water, good outdoor communal spaces to eat food / chill by pool.

shower pressure TERRIBLE and needs fixing as it it merely a dribble coming out, the ceiling fan is also noise and need looking at, communal fridge is messy and hardly any room to put your stuff (think it just needs a good clean out of old guests stuff)

It's a family hostel, no noisy, respect space, the designe Is amazing, the staff Is really profesional and the restaurant Is just 10 Michelin <3 Just my first Time in Valladolid with my wife and her moom the place was perfect. Just recomend anyone to book this place. I just arrive while raining, the pool was free of people and I just felt into a magic jungle feeling the rain in the pool, it's just a terapia!

Very nice staff. The king size room is very nice, comfortable and clean. Very good location, between the city center and the cenote Zani (5min walk both)

There was construction work each morning waking us up at 8 am, but I guess this is the same for every hotel in Yucatan (4 hotels in 4 cities, 4 times construction work for us).

Very nice staff (even tho they struggled with english, they made it work!), beautiful design, especially loved the outdoor sitting area and common room, the room and bathroom were cleaned regularly

I guess we were a little unlucky with our roommates so we felt a little uncomfortable at times. Not necessarily something I didn’t like but something I thought was a little weird is that at 10pm the staff will come to your room to shut all doors and windows and activate the AC.
