The hotel is located in the pedestrian zone, at the beach, close to several supermarkets and pharmacies. It is clean, well-decorated. There is a parking garage at the hotel which is a big plus taking into consideration that Petrovac lacks parking space (make sure you book your parking space with the hotel before arrival and ask for directions to the hotel as Google will misslead you) . I loved the restaurant and my morning coffees there as it is literally at the beach. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The staff at the reception, cleaning ladies and waiters at the restaurant are so nice, polite, helpful and always at your service. A big thanks to everyone as they made my family's and my vacation beautiful.

I can't express enough how wonderful my experience was! The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning vistas that you won't easily forget. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything you need, from shops and restaurants to the beautiful beach. What really made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of Peter and his wife. They took special care of every guest, ensuring that everyone was happy and comfortable. They are, without a doubt, one of the the best managers I have ever encountered. Peter and his wife checked on us daily, always asking how we were and offering excellent advice about the area. I highly recommend listening to Peter's recommendations – they truly enhanced our visit. If you're looking for a memorable and delightful stay in Petrovac, this hotel is the perfect choice!

Honestly, the only thing I disliked about this hotel is that I couldn't stay forever! If I could, I’d move in permanently and make Peter and his wife my neighbors!

Our stay at Hotel Riva was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, it felt like a dream. It is a rare occasion that the owners of the hotel. of this size, are present and attending to the needs of their guests. That customer service approach flowed through all their staff, they were always looking out for ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The location is second to none, only meters from the beach. The hotel has its own private beach section with lounge chairs available for guests, drinks and food are provided so you can spend all your day under the sun. The room was fantastic, clean and serviced every day with everything there that we needed. Reception was always at hand to help us with our day trips, car rental that arrived and was picked up from the hotel, booking tours, whatever it was they were always happy to take that burden from us and organise our activities. The town of Petrovac na Moru is great for families. We found that it suited our needs perfectly. No nighttime music, dance clubs and so on. All of that is in Budva if that is the adventure you seek. Plenty of places to eat, drink and the hotel food was great. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with options to start the day, lunch and dinner were there if needed. It was truly hard to leave this place because our experience was beyond expectations. We are determined to come back again, everyone truly deserves to experience what Hotel Riva offered my family.

Had a good feeling about Riva Hotel ever since I made the reservation and my 6th sense proved to be right. On arrival we found a beautiful small hotel (under 40 rooms), that looks like it was just opened (but actually is running since 2016). Interior design of common spaces and rooms is a result of good taste, high quality materials and accessories and attention to details. The same details in how guests are treated, make the difference between a nice and a great hotel. We appreciated the constant smiles on the faces of any hotel team member, be it at 7 AM or 11PM at the reception desk, in the restaurant/terrace or on the private beach. Congratulations to Natasha and Petar for their remarkable work in leading the team (apologies for not knowing all the names, they deserve each a special mention). Rooms have windows towards the mountains or the sea. We had a large mountain view room, clean and offering the necessary comfort. Beds were exactly as firm as we needed and pillows were for all tastes (soft or not). Towels were changed almost daily and bedsheets after 3-4 days. Another special mention to the team in the kitchen, that spoiled us with varied meals starting with breakfast, when they offered new surprises almost on a daily basis, and finishing with dinner. It is comforting to see that local fresh and very tasty produce is transformed in such appetizing dishes. This was the reason why we had all meals at the hotel almost during the entire 11 days stay. We found another home-away-from-home and intend to return soon. Highly recommend a visit!

The only thing that could run better is WI-FI. I am not sure whether this is a problem of hard ware or lies with the provider, but it could work better. On the pother hand, during vacation maybe one could disconnect more. For us this was no significant problem.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Riva and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff truly made my stay memorable, especially Cristina at the reception and Peter who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The staff ( Cristina , Anna, Peter and Natasha) were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests I had, making check-in and check-out seamless. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities and welcome chocolates 😊. I loved the comfortable bed and the stunning view from my window. The hotel's location was also ideal—close to sea! The restaurant was another highlight of my stay. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options at breakfast, and dinner and the service was impeccable. The restaurant staff were attentive and made sure every meal was an enjoyable experience.

We were a group of 13, split into 4 double rooms + 5 at the presidential suite. The double rooms were very comfortable, well designed and maintained. The presidential suite was amazing! Our kids enjoyed it immensely, it’s a beautifully decorated and well equipped apartment with jacuzzi facing the sea. Breakfast was very good, especially the bureks. We also had dinners at the hotel’s restaurant - very good food (especially relative to the north of Montenegro…), excellent service and great atmosphere. The hotel has its own private beach attached to it, water are perfect and Petrovac is a very nice village

we took 2 rooms with “Mountain view” that in fact were facing the back of a supermarket and a parking lot. The extra cost relative to the rooms facing the internal yard was definitely not worth it.

The stuff is very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. We had a room with a balcony to the atrium which was good because at night there was no noise. We could sleep well. The breakfast is really good and the people serving super nice ❤️

Nothing bad about the hotel. Just a recommendation: if you come during the high season maybe it’s better to go to another beach because the beach in front of the hotel is going to be super full. It’s pretty but it’s so many people and therefore also very dirty. Someone from the stuff recommended other beaches 10 min by car that were not so full and very nice and clean.

Respect for entire team work! They permanently do their best for making everybody feeling great. Petar and Natasha are super leaders!!! They are always very supportive. Accomodation, parking, restaurant, beach are very well organized. The view from the restaurant terrace is breathtaking. Delicious "hrana"! We wish them good luck! Waiting to see them again next summer!!!!!

Unfortunately a week has only 7 days....too short!

Hotel is located in a very cozy/small city near the beach. Rooms are modern and well isolated from noise. Staff is really nice and friendly, very supportive! Breakfasts are really nice and tasty!

You need to pay extra for beach cot and make a reservation for them. We informed staff during check-in about early check-out and asked for lunch boxes. Also, reminded one day prior. Everyone forgot about us at all, we were waiting for a personal to make a check-out and did not get any lunch boxes at all. Food in the restaurant might be improved, portion, texture and taste.
