Small lovely hotel, good service, kind very attentive staff, rooms with plenty of space, new, beach just a step outside of hotel, nice big beach towels, big very comfortable beach chairs, space between them, so you felt there is good distance from other people, loved the view on sea, service at the beach with drinks and food if you want, watter clean, and don’t need long walking to reach size of watter that you can actualy swim.. There is promenade just outside of hotel, didn’t know that before arrival, perfect for evening walk, quite some restaurants, icecream places, cocktail bars. We had our meals mostly at hotel, fish was divine and very fresh, we tryed also other things, tuna steak is also something I should recomend. We rented a car, but at the end didn’t use it at all. Because we felt so nice just where we were. It was first time we were in Petrovac, and were quite nicely surprised with everything. Think we chose a perfect hotel for our stay. We had also an issue first day with our rented car, somehow even if insured fully, when we arrived to hotel our wheel went flat, so we discovered that is not part of insurance somehow. Well staff of hotel arranged all very fast, find mechanic, he came immediately and fixed a problem for a correct price. So something that could became a nightmare, Luckely it didn’t because they so promptly helped us about, so we didn’t need to struggle with it. We are very grateful for it. Instead we could relax and enyoj the place.

Exceeded All Expectations! Our overall impression of this hotel far exceeded our expectations. The renovation is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, everything feels brand new, and the interior design is excellent. The hotel is located right on the seafront, with its own private beach and incredibly comfortable mattresses on the sun loungers – a real treat. What impressed us most, however, was the service. People make your business, and your team is outstanding. The reception staff are welcoming, polite, and genuinely open – they made us feel safe and at home in a new country, as if we were long-time returning guests. The staff don’t focus on restrictions or limitations — they look for solutions. Everything was done to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From organizing activities to helping us navigate the area and even assisting with parking — this was by far the best hotel staff experience we’ve ever had. The restaurant service is also exceptional: adaptive staff, wide food selection, and superb attention to guests. You truly feel welcomed and valued here — like you genuinely matter as a guest. We are beyond impressed, especially with the people who work here. You are a real team, and the incredible level of service is thanks to you. Well done!

Riva was perfect. We stayed in the Presidential Suite for 7 days with our son and girlfriend. The space was great for this mix. The hot tub was used at least once a day. Bedrooms were sizeable and I don't think the pictures do them justice. The outdoor space was fantastic. I hadn't thought we would use both terraces but we ate at the rear one when it was a bit windy at the front. We didn't cook in the kitchen, only having cold meals, but everything was provided should we have decided to do so. The front terrace with the hot tub was also the perfect place for a game of cards and glass of wine after our evening meal. The location was a real treat. The private area of the beach made the experience much more pleasant than it may have ben in the public areas. Petrovac is in a beautiful bay with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Unexpectedly there was also a range of watersports available. We flew into Podgorica so the transfer time of under an hour was also good. We enjoyed a very extensive breakfast in the terrace restaurant every morning and ate there for 2 evenings. The evening meals were superb. Staff were, without exception, excellent. Peter, the owner, went above and beyond in every aspect and always with a smile. We cannot praise the hotel enough. I am sure I have missed something but would return without hesitation.

There was nothing to dislike.

Hotel was everything we could ask for - impeccably clean, with a private beach and high caliber restaurant with doting staff. They parked our car for us the moment we arrived, showed us to our beautiful room with a stunning view of the bay and the rest was seamless. We ate at the restaurant for nearly every meal as it was so on point, and the private beach made our entire experience completely care free.

Honestly the stay was lovely. My only comment may be on the bedding - they only have a sheet, or a light quilt in the closet, versus a complete duvet. It wasn’t an issue since Montenegro is so hot and the bed was comfortable as is but there’s something about a duvet that adds to the luxury if the hotel was open to ideas. I would also say they didn’t have toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, just the combo gel+shampoo. Both very minor things but only mentioning if they wanted something to look into adding!

The hotel is located in the pedestrian zone, at the beach, close to several supermarkets and pharmacies. It is clean, well-decorated. There is a parking garage at the hotel which is a big plus taking into consideration that Petrovac lacks parking space (make sure you book your parking space with the hotel before arrival and ask for directions to the hotel as Google will misslead you) . I loved the restaurant and my morning coffees there as it is literally at the beach. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The staff at the reception, cleaning ladies and waiters at the restaurant are so nice, polite, helpful and always at your service. A big thanks to everyone as they made my family's and my vacation beautiful.

Everything was just perfect. Nothing to complain about.

We were warmly welcomed when we first arrived at the hotel. The gentleman who took our car to the parking lot and then brought our luggage was very kind. Our room was new, clean, and had a sea view. A bed was prepared for our daughter. We had an issue with the discount offered to hotel guests at dinner, but Peter made us forget all about it. Without Peter, they wouldn’t have received this rating from us. He was very attentive and solution-oriented. Thank you again, Peter!

There could have been a coffee machine in the rooms.

Staff attentiveness and friendliness, breakfast on the terrace was amazing, cleanliness of the hotel, free parking, hotel restaurant food, little details like clothes dryer on balcony for wet swimwear and towels etc., Safe resort, no groups of drunken lads!

Being charged extra for sun bed use on beach. Air conditioning in room difficult to work out but staff helped with that. Need extra time to get anywhere in car as roads a bit congested and winding.

First of all , I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and care , everyone has been very attentive and hospitable towards us. The room ( sea view with the balcony ) was amazing , very clean and spacious. Recommend using the restaurant downstairs for your lunch or evening meal and breaksfast especially on the terrace overlooking the sea. We also had help with the parking as it wasn't very easy to find on Google maps , recommend contacting hotel beforehand so you will know which turn to take . Would love to come back !

I can't express enough how wonderful my experience was! The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning vistas that you won't easily forget. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything you need, from shops and restaurants to the beautiful beach. What really made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of Peter and his wife. They took special care of every guest, ensuring that everyone was happy and comfortable. They are, without a doubt, one of the the best managers I have ever encountered. Peter and his wife checked on us daily, always asking how we were and offering excellent advice about the area. I highly recommend listening to Peter's recommendations – they truly enhanced our visit. If you're looking for a memorable and delightful stay in Petrovac, this hotel is the perfect choice!

Honestly, the only thing I disliked about this hotel is that I couldn't stay forever! If I could, I’d move in permanently and make Peter and his wife my neighbors!

Our stay at Hotel Riva was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, it felt like a dream. It is a rare occasion that the owners of the hotel. of this size, are present and attending to the needs of their guests. That customer service approach flowed through all their staff, they were always looking out for ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The location is second to none, only meters from the beach. The hotel has its own private beach section with lounge chairs available for guests, drinks and food are provided so you can spend all your day under the sun. The room was fantastic, clean and serviced every day with everything there that we needed. Reception was always at hand to help us with our day trips, car rental that arrived and was picked up from the hotel, booking tours, whatever it was they were always happy to take that burden from us and organise our activities. The town of Petrovac na Moru is great for families. We found that it suited our needs perfectly. No nighttime music, dance clubs and so on. All of that is in Budva if that is the adventure you seek. Plenty of places to eat, drink and the hotel food was great. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with options to start the day, lunch and dinner were there if needed. It was truly hard to leave this place because our experience was beyond expectations. We are determined to come back again, everyone truly deserves to experience what Hotel Riva offered my family.
