Lovely staff, great location! veeeery nice food, we got all the starters to try and they made a delicious vegetable tajin (on request). Water and tea for free!

Just to inform people visiting in summer: no bikini allowed, so swimming up but covered up. probably in the description, but we missed it beforehand.

There were many outstanding features about this Riad, but the two most amazing things were the service and warmth by the staff, and the incredibly gorgeous setting that this Riad was in. We only stayed for two nights, and I had fallen ill even before arriving there, yet still, it was a true pleasure to be there. There are so many beautiful balconies and terraces to enjoy the outdoor views from, and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The stay included delicious breakfasts, and we purchased the dinners made on the property both of the nights that we were there. The food was wonderful and matched the hospitality. Due to my illness, we had to cancel the full day trek that we had scheduled, but my family enjoyed walking around the village greatly and even I managed to walk around the first evening. Finally, the Riad accommodated our wish to have the two rooms that we booked to be close together. They notified me that they were moving us next to our kids' room even before arriving at the property. We look forward to going back one day, and would absolutely stay at Riad Jnane Imlil once again. F

The only recommendation I would have would be to make the lighting a little brighter inside the rooms. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and comfortable, but I think brighter lighting would bring out more of the beauty of the rooms and be more uplifting in general.

We spent 4 nights in this gorgeous place. Set just off the busy little village of Imlil amidst trees and overlooking the sight and sound of a cascading river, this was a beautiful location to relax after the high energy of Marrakech. The Riad has fantastic views of the Atlas Mountains including Mt Toubkal. We loved the laid back atmosphere with Mustafa, Ismail and Omar and the rest of the fantastic team making every single guest feel special. We ate there every night - the food was so good, really tasty and plentiful Moroccan home cooking - just amazing. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed.

The very warm and caring attention of the host Mustapha and everyone else in the staff made my stay wonderful and memorable. I noticed that everyone works very hard to make sure that all guests get individual attention. The riad itself is very charming with lots of character. Located only a short walk from town centre, comfortable spacious quiet rooms, nice breakfast and wholesome tasty dinners, spectacular views from the rooftop terrace. A special thanks to Mustapha who went out of his way to provide me with a walking stick and rain jacket for my hike, and for all the help in arranging onward transport. I recommend Riad Jnane very highly to all.

The staff here is amazing. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. Ismail, Abdel, and Omar, along with others, were so friendly. Our interactions with them were a huge part of why we loved our stay here. We appreciated the djellabas they left in the room for us. We wore them around the riad to stay warm and comfortable during the cold nights and snowy mornings. The room we had was large and comfortable and was easily converted to accommodate a third person when our daughter decided to join us at the last minute. Our room had a fireplace and a balcony with an incredible view of the valley, which made it a cozy spot to hang out in. We had dinner there two nights and breakfast all three mornings. There was more than enough food and the local flavors in the cooking were delicious. We had a vehicle with us, and the riad hooked us up with a secure, gated parking space where we could leave the car during our stay for no extra charge. It was too cold to use the pool while we were here, but it added to the ambiance of the rooftop as we lounged and looked out over the mountain scenery. It would be a great place to swim in warmer weather. If you like hiking or mountain biking, there is a lot to do in the area. I took two days to hike Mount Toubkal and my wife and daughter explored more local trails between villages. You will not run out of places to explore here, and it is easy to find a guide to show you the trails and arrange stops for lunch or tea.

There was really nothing we didn't like. I could have spent my whole vacation here and been happy.

Lovely property tucked away in just above the main part of village. Staff were very helpful with any arrangements for a trek and transfers. We had a guided walk and lunch arranged. We had a lovely dinner in the property in the evening.

There’s some renovation work going on around the pool. When we booked we were told this would be finished by September. So worth checking in on progress this if the pool is important to you. Also worth noting requirements for attire in pool (for women) although it’s on mentioned their own website it isn’t clear on the booking.com description.

The Riad Jnane Imlil is a beautiful retreat from the busy world! In the heart of the High Atlas. We woke up to stunning views, a delicious breakfast, and had an adventure hiking in the mountains. The room was clean, comfortable, warm, and charming. The entire inn was decorated beautifully, and the views from the rooftop are spectacular. Every meal was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very attentive and kind. We would highly recommend this riad to anyone who likes to experience different corners of the world. We are so glad we stayed two nights and would have stayed longer if we had the time. The owners were interesting to talk to about their village and culture. They arranged a guide for us for the hike. The communication was great. We had no trouble getting there, parking the car, and Omar was ready for us to bring our bags in. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

The young man who helped with the bags and served breakfast was very polite and courteous. The room was a very good size and very comfortable with heating and extra blankets. There was a private balcony facing the afternoon sun and the mountains. Very good location for a walk and popping into Imlil for dinner. The breakfast was homemade, delicious and very large! The young man made sure we had everything we needed and more.

The instructions to find the property could be made easier but it is signposted from the main road, just carry on up the road past the Google location and it is on the right hand side (parking behind blue gate).

Fantastic riad in Imlil. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly, food was delicious (best tagine we had in Morocco!), the room was big with a little private terrace area overlooking the river. As it was early February, it was cold at night in the mountains, but there was heating and extra blankets so we were kept warm and toasty! There was car parking on the road at the bottom of the track, the riad is just a short walk up - they did offer porters for luggage but we didn't need them.

Wifi wasn't particularly good in the room, but it was fine in the main part of the property.

Its quiet but convenient location , just up a footpath off the road from the village centre by a near a waterfall. Beautiful traditional styling, yet areas to sit out by a pool, in shade or sunshine. Attentive and pleasant staff. Great to have food everynight if desired too which was much easier than when we had tried to buy any locally at night.

Not Nothing really. First night was quite windy, and some gaps around traditional windows meant some whistling into the room, but really that was the only thing I can think of.
