Toubkal Ecolodge was a GREAT choice. In addition to the great food and comfortable accommodation with spectacular views, Rachid's hotel had two unique selling points. Firstly, Rachid helped us arrange a six day hiking trek around the Berber villages and to summit Toubkal with a great team that included our guide Khalid and our cook and muleteer Oumar Rachid also helped us with onward travel plans and couldn't do enough to help us with our first trip to Morocco. Secondly, the swimming pool was very refreshing after a six day hike around the beautiful mountain scenery of Imlil Valley. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again at Rachid's Eco Lodge and plan to do so again in years to come.

There aren’t enough good words to describe this incredible place and people that welcome you. Rachid and his team truly made us feel like home. I had my Toubkal hike organised through him, we had dinners there every night too and from the minute we arrived until the very last moment this was a completely magical experience. My hike guide Khalid was the most caring guide I’ve ever met. The chef that cooked us dinner with his wife every night were simply extraordinary. In short, I would recommend this to everyone and anyone and if I’m ever to come back to Imlil I would only ever stay here. And I haven’t even mentioned the completely stunning views from the terrace yet… I’m never usually sad to leave a place to carry on to the next destination, but this time I truly was sad to leave.

It was a wonderful stay. The owner and his employee were super nice, it was great to talk to them about Morocco, they also recommended great hiking routes, we asked for picnic food for the hike and it was prepared the next day. The food they prepare is really good and tasty. Prices are low and affordable. The days we were staying was my birthday and my girlfriend made a surprise, she asked the employee to bake a small birthday cake for me and it was very unexpected because they baked a big delicious cake with candles, it was a wow surprise. The rooms were very cozy, small, but really enough to have a good time. We definitely recommend staying at this place 10 out of 10.

Perfect place, perfect location, responsive and kind staff. The beds are very comfortable, blankets are warm. Amazing view through windows. Delicious breakfast served by the fireplace and mint tea with cockies on the terrasse with an amazing mountain view.

There was a smelly canalization, but this is a common thing in the whole Morroco. While the bathroom door is closed, everything is fine in the room.

The view from the roof is just unbelievable. Couldn't get enough! The breakfast was fabulous, Ibrahim was sooo lovely, very helpful and approachable. We had a famine one night and it was very yummy as well. Rooms are a bit cold, but in such a height it is to be expected. Will definitely be back!

The staff here, all two if them, work extremely hard to provide guests with good service. This is why I gave exceptional rating instead of superb. The lodge is great and the room was very comfortable. The food was fantastic!

We had a great experience from the beginning. Rachid organized a transfer from Agafay to the lodge for us, dinners and breakfasts were delicious, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the terrasse had amazing views. Rachid also helped us organize the two-day hike to the summit of Toubkal and the prices were very fair. We came completely unprepared and he helped us get the necessary gear required to summit Toubkal, provided lunch and set us up with our guide, Lahcen, who was very attentive to our pace and needs during the hike. Overall, everyone we met was very nice, flexible and attentive to our needs.

The lodge is approximately 20-25 walk down/uphill from town. The wifi was not working in the room, and it was a little slow in the common area, but our 4G worked fine.

-Locks but no keys on the door. If you are outside, anyone can open ur door and can access to your room including customers. The locks are traditional and nice but it s not secure (picture uploaded). And plus, it can easily be unlocked by the wind. My friend and i, found the doors of our rooms open in the morning even though we locked it at night. The surveillance cams are everywhere so there isnt a reel danger but it s better if the customer feels more safe with keys. -Comparing to some other establishments, there was a lack of certain items in the breakfast (orange juice, honey, meloui)

This was just amazing stay..we couldn't choose better place. From airport pick up, acommodation, staff and food (huge breakfast and amazing dinnerr, the best mint tea). We absolutely loved our stay. Rachid thanks for everything.
