Lovely & cosy guest house, with Jebel Toukbal & valley views, warmly appointed, and a fun place for an impromptu World Cup watch party with mint tea, popcorn and a bevy of international guests. The stay was made excellent by the gracious welcome and care by manager Rafik, a soignee and gentle-spoken hotel professional, who time and again came to my rescue, whether it was to swiftly switch my room light bulbs from a cool color temp (often preferred by many in the region) to a warm color temperature (all the rage in the US/UK)...to providing a hearty simple meal after a taxi driver stood me up. (He valiantly offered to find another but I demurred.) The hotel is also home to ginger-white kitty Chou-chou (Rafik will tuck her outside if you're not a cat person), and you can pop outside to visit house Husky Rose, who welcomes all petting, and if you're missing your pup at home, you might just be able to convince Rafik to take the pup for a hike. All in all, it's a place that makes you feel at home!

The mountain village plumbing can be odiferous -- nothing the hotel can do to change that as it is the same throughout Imlil -- so keep the bath door shut and all will be well!

The breakfast was better than expected. As well as the bread-heavy offering (usual in Morocco), there were always eggs, salad, fruit, dried fruit and olives. If you are trekking, book guides at the hotel. You are likely to get a better deal than booking direct with a guide (strange but true). The tiling is beautiful (but be careful, it is slippery when wet). Beautiful thick curtains.

There was some mould in the shower. There were some interruptions in the hot water supply. The internet was off for a couple of hours on one evening. If you are here in the colder season, the heating may not be adequate to keep the room as warm as you might like.

Wonderful location, exceptional staff Beautiful authentic and wonderfully located. A good base for exploring the Atlas Mountains. The rooftop terrace offers great views of the region hight atlas and it is the perfect spot to relax after a long hike. Rafik, the manager and all the staff are very friendly

Raph welcomed me by saying "welcome to your second home". Initially I laughed, but it didnt needed much time to understand that he was right! Probably the kindest staff i have ever meet, he organized everything for me and offered tea and bakery without me even asking. Yes, I felt like at home.

The location was great for us to reach the restaurants and shops. Also, it was situated right at the start of our trek to Mount Toubkal. After our trek, we were so glad to be able to use the pool. Hassan, the manager, and the staff were fabulous and couldn't do enough for you . They served us tea and cake on arrival, which was really appreciated. Don't hesitate to book. You won't be disappointed .

It would be great to have air conditioning. However, it was no problem, as we just kept our window open to let cool air in

it was beautiful and clean and warm and Rav, Rox (the dog) and susu (the cat) we’re all super lovely. really nice.

Rafik is a great host, we felt very welcome and at home. Amazing place with a gorgeous view from the terrace and a cosy fire for the cold nights. Would reocmmend a stay here. Also decent tagine for around 7 quid in the evenings.
