The staff were incredible could not do enough for us An absolutely calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of the medina, so peaceful and relaxing, we loved it especially the roof terrace and our room was always IMMACULATE, mint tea and breakfast perfect

The door to bedroom had a window at the top that let a lot of corridor light in at night and could be quite noisy, and also no window in the room which is a shame but totally understandable with the location! It would be great if Ali/Ayoub/Jamal went with us on the first day to the square to put us at ease as 2 females we were a little uneasy at first - just a suggestion, fine after the first time felt really safe

Tucked away behind Souk Semmarine, is this hidden gem. To access the Riad, you need to walk part way through the Souks, approx 10mins walk from the taxi drop-off points near Jema Al'Fnaa. It was easy to locate using Google maps. A few side streets later, a beautiful historical door opens to a serene paradise inside. The deco and vibe to this Riad is beautiful. The decor tastefully encapsulates traditions of Morroco with the comforts and sense of contemporary features. On arrival we had an extremely warm welcome by Ayoub who took our bags and asked us to take a seat in the dining area next to reception where he swiftly brought over some mint tea and cake to indulge in first. After this, he gave us a form to fill in to check in then proceeded to give us the room key, having already taken our bags to the room. The room was stunning and just as seen in the pictures. We stayed in Verte (Green) which was spacious and had green decor (as we requested). A huge bed, comfy sofa/bed, modern bathroom with 2 sinks and my personal favourite, a toilet away from the walk in shower. I am not normally a fan of walk in showers as hate wet floors outside of the shower area that encroach the sinks or toilet. The shower itself is a waterfall shower head or a seperate handheld shower head with thermostatic temperature control for a much needed hot shower at the end of the day. We were amazed by the photos in and around the property, so much so we asked the very pleasant owners where to get them and they obliged and so did we by buying a couple to bring back. Breakfast is included and consists of a bowl of fruit puree, small pot of yoghurt with fruit compote or granola (varies daily), fresh or age juice, a plate of cake, pancakes and transitions paratha style bread, a seperate bread basket and choice of tea, mint tea or coffee. If you like fry ups and buffet breakfasts then any Riad is probably no good for you as these options are traditionally only on western hotel chains.

Not disliked but would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. A tad on the pricey side compared to other Riads.

The interior design of the entire Riad was stunning—elegant, thoughtfully curated, and beautifully cohesive. Our room had lovely artwork and a modern yet authentic Moroccan vibe. Breakfast was fresh and light, and the staff were consistently kind, polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. Stairs are common in Marrakesh and there was plenty in the Riad, but the rooftop terrace was well worth the climb - peaceful, relaxing and a choice of super comfortable areas to chillout in.

The shower plumbing - water could do with draining away a little quicker before it flooded the floor

Staff was amazing, they were really friendly and helpful in any situation. They were guiding us at 5 am when we had to go to an activity, they were giving us tips where to shop, where to get money from the ATM, etc. We'd like to highlight Hamil, Jamal, Ali, who were amazing. Overall the riad was really nice, clean, nice design. It's clear that the owners really put the effort to make it great. We were using the Spa also and tried Hammam there, that was also nice, we can recommend it. The location is amazing, in the middle of the souks, so if you have a shopping tour, you can walk home in 5-10 mins from anywhere. It was really close to Jama El Fnaa, which is important if you are planning activities outside of Marrakesh, because 99% of the cases the meeting point is that square. Besides that most of the attractions in Marrakesh are reachable by foot in 20 mins from the riad. We had a great time there, absolutely recommend it.

The breakfast was 95% the same every morning, which was a little bit boring, and only sweet options are in the basic package, if you'd like fried egg for example, that's an extra cost. The doors, windows were really loud when open or closing them, and not only ours, so a quick repair would be useful :) Small thing, but in the bathroom it would be nice to have a lamp above the mirror, because there were not enough natural light there to see myself well.

There was a little surprise to me at first, which I’ll explain later, but once this was overcome, everything was fantastic! The location is in the middle of the souk, 5 minutes walking to Jeema el-Fnaa. It’s possible to walk to all the major attractions while discovering the narrow streets of the souks and getting immersed in all Marrakech colors, scents and energy! Our main host, Jamal was very attentive, helpful and super friendly! Ali was also great! Our room was very spacious and had 2 private outdoor areas! Fantastic! We also had hamman and massage at the Riad. After comparing multiple places, the prices were inline with others and - trust me - you will want to do your hamman wherever you’re staying, so you can leave it wearing robes and continue to relax in your room immediately after! The surprise ended up being one of the best features of this Riad: it’s nested in the core of the Medina, so taxis don’t reach the door of the Riad, you must walk with your bags through the souk, and at certain times through Jeema el-Fnaa. Then through narrow alleys, until you find this “oasis” behind a wonderful door!

Location is fabulous for historic Marrakech and right in the Medina. We arranged transfers to and from the Riad with the staff directly and it was worth it. Like all Riads, it's not easy to find the first time so this was great and absolutely no stress or worry. The staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and lovely. I had forgotten my contact solution and all the pharmacies were closed for a public holiday. A member of the team went out and found a place open, bought the solution and delivered it to me. Absolutely fantastic service. There is a small hamman on site and we had a both a hamman and a massage. It was fantastic. A beautiful space, lovely treatments and excellent staff. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and served in the courtyard by the plunge pool.

A beautiful Riad, right in the middle of the craziness 🙃 The staff were very attentive, full of information of how to get around & suggestions of places to go, organising taxi's, trips etc etc. Ayoub is an absolute asset to this establishment, he was amazing, very professional & genuinely a lovely person, who on the morning of my Birthday sang Happy Birthday to me & presented me with a muffin with a candle in. (This was definitely a personal touch) The breakfasts offered a great selection, all very fresh & plentiful. The room was spacious & very clean. We also met the owners, who were a lovely couple, both asking if everything was to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this place & if I return, I will stay here again. I have travelled to many countries & I am very careful & fully research where I stay & this was a 10 out of 10 for me. Marrakech is a safe & clean place to go & an experience I would personally recommend as a must do.

Absolutely nothing....

When we arrived we were greeted beautifully by the staff. Our room wasn't ready but we were shown around the riad and were allowed to spend time on the terrace. The riad is in the heart of the souks but you wouldn't know when you are there as it is very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast varied a little each day but mainly consisted of breads, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit and fresh coffee and mint tea. The wifi was strong in all areas of the riad.

No card machine facilities at this riad so if you book any extras (spa etc) then you will need cash. We thoroughly enjoyed our spa session but as the room is off the main courtyard, there was a lot of background noise which could be heard above the music.

We felt very welcome throughout our stay. Ayoub, Hamid and Ali were wonderful, it was delightful how attentive and helpful they were, how much advice and tips they gave us and how they made sure we felt very comfortable and got to see a lot of the city and the surrounding area. Thanks to the three of them, there was a remarkable atmosphere. The riad is simply enchanting. The breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared, the room seems a bit small, but everything fits in very well, and the location is right in the middle of the medina.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff made this trip especially memorable. We had three breakfasts and all were different plus we had one dinner at the Riad which we ordered in advance. It was superb.

Nothing; It would have been helpful to have been reminded that the Riad did not take credit cards before we were leaving. there was a 'no credit card' notice above the reception which we had not spotted. We had enough cash but it could have been awkward and time consuming when we needed to get to the airport.
