The place keeps the essence of the ancient typical Moroccan houses, but all has been refurbished and all commodities are included. The jacuzzi was a nice surprise at the top floor terrace, and there is an additional fantastic terrace on top of the roof with great views. Staff is more than great. You feel like at home or with friends. I cannot recommend it more. Don’t miss this accommodation if you go to Tetuan. Everywhere is a step away. Stefan, the owner, or Obaida, one of his collaborators, are exceptional people. Thanks for all!
Nothing. All is perfect. We cannot say anything about the kitchen. We didn’t have even breakfast there.

I booked Riad Aziman feeling rather lonely and down in the dumps. I'd been alone in Morocco for a month and staying in 'adequate' accommodation and needed a treat and pick me up. Riad Aziman and the wonderful staff did that and SO much more. Riad's can be old and character filled (but a bit tired) or too modern and lose their charm but Riad Aziman had the perfect fusion of genuinely beautiful Moroccan style like something out of a travel magazine, updated just enough with everything that a modern visitor could want. Luxury beds, sheets, towels, robes. The room smelt beautiful and they had the lighting perfect. An adobe bathroom and rainfall shower with brass fixtures and basin. Excellent wifi. The roof was incredible with beautiful views, with beautiful outdoor settings, a sheltered part with lounge and a hot tub and sauna alas I didn't have time to use. The location is perfect for those who want to be in the heart of things. In the centre of the medina yet when you step through the door it's serene and peaceful! The best thing for me though was the beautiful hosts, as I said, I was feeling a bit glum but I was made to feel so at home, lots of advice, friendly and personally showed me to different restaurant options. It was the famous wonderful Moroccan kindness and hospitality at it's best and I was very sorry to only be able to stay one night but I left completely refreshed and revived for the rest of my trip and plan to return! Thank you SO much!

The Riad is in an interesting location not too far from the entrance to the souk. Obaida sent a very useful video showing how best to get to the Riad. The Riad itself is very quiet and attractively decorated. Our external bathroom/sauna (see more below) was outstanding- large and with a very clean, modern look. The roof terrace gave great views but the hot tub/jacuzzi remained covered
I made a small mistake by booking a room with an external private bathroom, which meant leaving the room and walking a few steps to the bathroom along the open internal walkway. Not a big problem but in retrospect I would have paid more if necessary- the prices were good value- for a room with internal bathroom. There were 2 big rooms like this. Also, it felt much like renting an Airbnb, as we saw Fatimeh only when we arrived- she was very kind and brought us mint tea on the rooftop- and then, by chance, as we were leaving 3 days later.

It wasn’t clear on the website that there is an extra charge to use the sauna and jacuzzi however the staff were very accommodating about this but please be aware of charge before booking

The room was simply huge, and I can't fault this at all. Communication was very good when I booked, and Stefan was extremely helpful especially with my aborted landing and detour back to Malaga. The breakfast was huge and the lady making this was so nice :) Wifi actually worked, so double thumbs up. The rooftop terrace was pretty special to be fair, and a great view across the city. Location was very good. It would be a nice touch if a small fridge could be added to the rooms.
The room I stayed in backed on to a busy walkway, and the windows are not double glazed, so the constant noise did become frustrating, especially at 2am when the locals sat in the street were just talking and talking. This is not the fault of the venue, but nothing has been done to minimise the noise. There was nobody available during the day to ask questions or ask for advice. This is the 4th Riad I have stayed in, one of the better ones by far, but all of the others did have someone available to talk to if you needed, or if I wanted to purchase drinks late into the evening.

The riad is general is quite nice/clean and the room as well. The staff was also quite friendly and the check in was easy. Our only problem was the location. Technically it’s in a very good location because it’s in the Medina but unfortunately that part of the Medina is where they sell meat and fish so it was quite smelly. Other than that everything was as expected.
Smell of the street.

Fatima looked after us extremely well .The breakfast was superb, We were disappointed with the access to the sauna and the hot tub.It wasn’t a hot tub as the water was cold and no way of heating it and a two hour notice needed to be given to use the sauna by phone

Everything is done with love, every little detail was thought of for your convenience. It feels like owners are artists, everything is decorated not only tastefully but with artistic twist. We only stayed for one night but we couldn’t fault the place. Beautiful and everything works very well. Thank you so much.
We liked everything

Great location, beautiful riad, amazing staff (thank you Obaida and Fatima!), very comfortable, the terrace is absolutely wonderful.
Air conditioner was not strong and did not fully cool the room, the hot water in the shower cut out a few times

Fantastic location in tetouan. Good facilities and lovely rooms with unique touches. Obviously a bit more expensive than other accommodation, but well worth the money for one or two nights. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel.
The pool/jacuzzi comes at a cost
