The hotel rooms are very nice, I had a private balcony and a very comfortable bed. The rooms are clean, have good air conditioning and lots of space. The staff are very friendly and professional and they gave us a discount on a massage which is also available at the hotel. The food at the hotel is very good and reasonably priced. There is also a spa and sauna, and beauty salon available.

The breakfast starts at 7:30 but it would be nice if it started at 7am.

Location was really convenient, 10 minutes walk from Thamel and all the shops. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds really confy! Also, the staff was very helpfull and tried to get us early check in, even though we hadn't requested in advance. Breakfast was really tasty!! Well done!

No major issues. The shower was a bit difficult as the water was either burning hot or really cold (but we managed). The lift was a bit too small and 1 person with luggages could fit in (took a while for all of us to get to our rooms). There was no warning regarding locking all gates and doors at night (no doorbels or signs available), which ended with us waiting 20 minutes at the street at 12am until we found the reception's phone number and called to get someone to let us in.

The Himalayan Suite Hotel was wonderful! We stayed here for 5 weeks. All the receptionists and restaurant workers were so kind and accommodating. The receptionist always helped us find cost effective taxis to work and they also picked us up from the airport free of charge. Everyone worked hard to make this such a memorable stay. The rooms were cleaned every single day and the rooms were very large and comfortable. Also a great location, 10 minute walk to Thamel but a lot quieter in the evenings! Would strongly recommend booking a room here, for a long or short stay.

Nice, cozy, well maintained, and very safe property near Thamel. Excellent location wherein you can reach anywhere in the city quickly. The rooms and washrooms are spacious and, most importantly, very well clean. The hygiene standards are top-notch. We stayed there for two nights and were greeted warmly, and every service provided was from the heart. You can actually feel welcomed and not away from home. Food is great, and they serve a healthy breakfast and have a good spread. Look for Milan at the front desk. He is a champion and is always ready to go the extra mile to ensure the guests have a comfortable stay not only in the hotel but also when they go around for sightseeing. We will certainly revisit once we plan our next visit to Katmandu. We wish them all the best and thank them from the bottom of our heart for such a lovely vacation. The TV wasn't working. They've tried to fix it, but it didn't work. There was also a problem with the entry card to my room. It didn't work after the third attempt so basically every time I wanted to get into my room I had to have someone from reception help out.They wanted to give me another room, but I had just one more night, so I declined.

The room was clean and had everything needed, the food at the restaurant was exceptional and the staff very kind and helpful. The manager himself helped me with a trip to a faraway monastery, where other hotel wouldn't take you. The driver was very polite and with a positive attitude. I strongly appreciate the effort they put so that I could enjoy a great vacation in Kathmandu. I would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed the location most of all. I am a walker. I will walk anywhere if it's under 30 minutes. The hotel is 10-20 minute walks from Thamel, Durbar Square, and Garden of Dreams. The breakfast buffet is nice as well. I think it could have some diversity in the foods served though. I really enjoyed how everything is located at the hotel.

The wifi is spotty at times. The restaurant closes early so if you want something to eat later on, you have to figure out how to order.

During my recent stay at the Himalayan suite, I was absolutely delighted by the exceptional service and luxurious accommodations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The room was beautifully appointed with stunning views, and every detail was thoughtfully considered. The amenities were top-notch, and the dining experience was simply exquisite. I cannot speak highly enough of my stay at the himalayan suite and cannot wait to return.

I was welcomed by security in the car park and then Milan, the front desk guy, who clearly works in hospitality and enjoys it. Everyone there treats you like your special. And I felt like they genuinely believe it. I dreamt of hotel experiences like this , and now Im getting them
