This whole hotel is not only furnished and decorated wonderful with a view for details, the staff was amazing and the food in the cafe great. The visit to the restaurant ODE was a wonderful and outstanding experience we will not forgot. The menu, the different dishes, the open kitchen , the staff - a beautiful evening to remember for a long time. Thank you to the crew from the hotel/ restaurant for that wonderful weekend.

We thought the paintings were very poor in comparison with the superb quality and ambiance of the hotel. They do not do justice to the hotel’s standard. Go for the same high quality in choosing your art, as you have done with the furniture, interiors, food and staff.

Excellent location. Beautifully presented central areas. Great staff, very friendly and efficient.

Not enough storage for clothes. No drawers. Difficult to dry your hair other than in bathroom. No plug point close to a mirror anywhere in room. Not enough light for applying makeup.

very clean, comfortable and with accommodating staff. No problem with special food requests. Great care taken on the details and finishes in the room- fresh fruit, water available and some toys for the kids. They can also play in the little courtyard. Bar and restaurant are also really nice. Recommended 👍

in the pictures there is a big table in the room (family suite) which would be handy if traveling with kids to play games etc. but this is not in all the rooms.

Slightly pricey, maybe I'd expect some more facilities available for such price tag like swimming pool or gym (my subjective opinion of course)

Clean lines and beautifully designed. We were welcomed so well by the staff and looked after at every moment. The bikes were complementary which was fantastic and a great way to see the town.

I am tall and the wooden beams in the room present a challenge.

I travel quite a bit for work and to say I was pleasantly surprised by Hotel de ABDIJ is an understatement. From a friendly reception on arrival to the contemporary and comfortable room, this hotel exceeded my expectation considering the price of a 1 night stay. It's located in the centre of the town, which itself is easy to get around and very charming.

Unfortunately, as it was a Tuesday evening, the town was quite quiet, but that's hardly anyone's fault. Would definitely like to return for a weekend stay in the future.

Because of travel uncertainties we booked & arrived late but we were beautifully looked after by everyone. lovely friendly receptionist, great barman and chef prepared a fabulous cold plate after kitchen closed. Our room and the rest of the hotel is a beautiful mix of old, new & comfort. we will definitely return but with more time to enjoy next time. An evening stroll around Dokkum whetted our appetite for a return visit.

Friendliness of staff and beautiful comfort.

We visited Dokkum during the admiralty days which was very exciting and lively. The hotel had very comfortable and cozy rooms, friendly staff, and extraordinary restaurant with good choice of food and drinks.

Superb location in Dokkum with excellent room facilities. Lovely staff and great overall service. Highly recommended for a short stay in town.
