Comfy rooms, good service, good food

When walking our dogs around the park, that the staff said we could use for the dogs, be careful of the house with German shepherd living there. It is in a secure pen but it’s not very relaxing when you’re not sure if it can get over the fence or not as the fence isn’t that high. We walked up and down the surrounding roads.

Unexpectedly warm welcome! Stylish & simple renovated old farmhouse with all needed conveniences. Comfy beds, heat you can finetune for your taste, shared living rooms on the ground floor with all-day disposal of kettle &fridge. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are extraordinarily good: eggs, cheese & ham variety, tasty fruits, pastry! was amazing, Staff was very kind and friendly, we arrived l with a pet. & enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. WE took dinners at the hotel - highly recommended homecooked dishes at affordable price.

Great location, beautiful room, very comfortable amenities.

The room number was not on the outside of the door. You had to go through an unmarked door to find the room. Very confusing, spent 5 minutes in the dark and cold looking for the room, the evening check in staff did not give any information regarding this at all. Huge oversight. Would be helpful to have the room number posted on the first door outside to avoid this confusion.

The Room was really big and comfortable. Clean, Quiet, Friendly staff, who helped us out when we had to check in earlier than normal because we were not able to be there again after midnight, no problem at all! Lovely breakfast too.

For us only that there was no normal coffee in the room only cappuccino and tea, and at night there were only drink vending machines but nothing to eat. But that is really not very important at all.

This was quite the discovery, driving home from holidaying in the Netherlands. A bit off the motorway, but well worth it the drive. Old family farm now converted into a nice charming and rustic hotel and event venue. Third generation now in charge. So much history here. The breakfast was amazing, so much fresh fruit and eggs made to your liking. Staff was kind and friendly, we arrived late with sleeping children and were allowed to park right in front of the main entrance to facilitate transferal of the little ones, this was such a nice gesture after several hours on the road. They also put our big cooling bag in their fridge over night, so that we could keep all our food good.

The only little difficulty we had was getting the TV going. It was really rather complicated. Now I don't go to hotels to watch TV, but when travelling far, it is such nice to be able to "veg" a bit before turning off the lights.

we only stayed one night because we were invited to a birthday nearby - rooms are like on the pictures (if you want modern rooms, this is not the place). the bathroom was fairly modern/new. everything was clean. for us the location was convenient for visiting venlo (if you are by car), i think for short stays to explore the surrounding area , this hotel is a good choice.

The venue is scenic and peaceful. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The area is full of greenery and wild life. A home-like cozy atmosphere. Spacious rooms, impeccably clean and well maintained. Definitely a home away from home. Would definitely go back.

Clean room and a good bed. Electric kettle in room and free coffee and tea downstairs all day. Good / fresh breakfast buffet.

I arrived in the dark and had trouble finding the entrance, which is at the back of the building.

Very nice location away from the busy city life. Well maintained property located in the country side.Free parking available. Nice people. Ready to help you anytime of the day. I really had a great experience staying. And definitely going to come back.

WIFI had some issue in my room. Often had to come outside for uninterrupted internet connection. I am sure they are going to rectify it. Rest everything was perfect.

We was very surprised with very helpful staff, and very clean and cozy rooms, we recommend this place for good time, away from big towns!
