Room was a decent size and the beds were really comfy. We had a little fridge in our room which was great. Bathroom was also big, clean, and had a good shower and all the amenities we needed. There was a music festival happening nearby which you could hear from the street but in our room we couldn't hear anything so the soundproofing must be very good! There are also some really nice little restaurants nearby, and a Lidl supermarket, which was useful if we didn't feel like walking back into the centre of Tilburg after a long day.

It takes about half an hour to walk into the city centre, which was fine for us but worth bearing in mind. There are some buses but they're not super regular. We also found it very hard to find the entrance! It's not clear from the street how to get in (if you're not driving) but again that wasn't really a big deal. The only other thing was that our room didn't get cleaned any of the 3 nights that we were there - again, we didn't mind this but some people might. But overall we really liked this hotel :-)

We arrived later than we originally planned but the reception had checked us in with such ease and stress-free. The rooms we clean and the accommodation was comfortable. We had a window too. It was a great time for us. I'd suggest a bike rental for visitors to go around the city.

The entrance to the hotel was unexpected and we had to go through an access with what looked like a car park. We had thought that the entrance would be facing in the front of the street, which was disappointing and confusing.

The staff there has been very helpful. Even though trying to contact someone to get support before arrival has been at times difficult, once there they have been extremely helpful and solved all the problems we've had, so thumbs up for them! Also, the city center is very easy to reach even by foot.

Nothing, really, the stay went smoothly and I don't have any complaints.

Reception staff were very helpful. Room was a good size. The Hotel is well situated within a 20 minute walk of the town centre.

Although we didn't have to check out till 12 & wanted a lie in, the cleaning staff were very noisy talking loudly non stop in the corridor outside the bedroom door from about 8.45 so eventually we just got up. I wouldn't want this to detract from the overall experience though.

We wanted a rest so we could be on our way early in the morning. It was easy to find, parking was included, and the beds were nice. Also, the room was dark and quiet, and we got a good night's sleep. The shower was easy to use and pleasant. Both checking and checkout were quick and easy. Also easy to get to from the road, perfect if you are travelling by car.

Breakfast was a bit expensive, as there was only the buffet option, not something smaller. So we did not have breakfast, but instead ate something on the road.

The meal in the restaurant in the evening was very nice and good value. The room was large, the air conditioning could be adjusted (turned down) to sleep better and the shower was very good.

The door to the corridor on the sixth floor which closed too strongly and banged so loudly as to wake me up. The breakfast was not exciting at all and very limited for the money.

Breakfast was great and the hotel was in a great location. The staff were fantastic: They were always friendly and extremely helpful. The facilities there were also good.

Payment confusion (an issue with Bastion rather than Bastion Tilburg): When I booked this hotel, I put my credit card down. I got an email afterwards with a payment link saying I had to pay straight-away or they might give away the booking. Of course, I paid. Arrived to the hotel and they asked for payment again! They hadn't processed through it yet. It turns out, it's unusual to have to pay ahead of time. Luckily, as mentioned above, the staff at the hotel were super helpful and they got things straightened out.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, spacious and surprisingly quiet room. It's not a memorable hotel, but it does its job well when you need to stay in town for a day or two and other places are fully booked.

The elevators were not very clean and had dust and crumbles on the floor. Similarly, the outside garbage bin next to the entrance door was in a poor state, overflowing with trash. I almost got double-charged for a breakfast I had already paid for when booking.

Thank you very much for the great stay. The hotel has a very good infrastructure and service. My room was cozy with a large stylish bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful since I had a few questions during my stay. I wish you guys all the best! I would visit again and definitely recommend it.

I travel a lot - I dread hotel mattresses... This one was exceptional - one of the best sleeps ever in a hotel. The hotel was lovely from the lobby to the room and the staff was friendly, quick and helpful. Highly recommend. Will be looking for Bastion hotels wherever i travel in the Netherlands.
