Motel Koolen was a great place to stay to explore southern Netherlands. It's in a central location making it easy to see the highlights. Our hostess was fantastic - very friendly and helpful. Happy to have a chat about our adventures. The motel room was modern, spacious and clean. The room was serviced each day with clean towels provided each day. It had a sizeable fridge which made it easy to store drinks and breakfast food. The beds were comfortable - two singles pushed together to make a double.

Family-run place with a very friendly atmosphere. It was great to have a fridge, kettle and microwave in my room, together with things to eat with/from. Comfortable bed and good shower. The location was perfect for my journey and within easy reach of Nijmegen.

The people running and owning the hotel were absolutely lovely. Which in turn made our breakfast a very nice experience.

Owners are super friendly and talkative! If you need anything in your room, just come to them and they will gladly help you. Also the beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and there is a pancake restaurant nearby where I ate the best pancakes of my life. And also a lovely bakery next to the property.

In my room, there was no fridge and also no window at the toilet. Also I thought from the booking website that would be a kitchen available for every room, but there wasn’t.

It would be nice to have some vegetables for breakfast and a shelf in the bathroom.

The chance to sit with the hosts and chat over a cup of tea was delightful . we were made to feel very welcome . we had a very early start and the host provide an extremely delicious breakfast with all the trimmings , which set us up for our long journey.
