I thought the hotel was clean and comfortable. The Deluxe room was very nice and most staff were very kind, especially on arrival on the Monday. Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, i thought the receptionist was excellent.

On Tuesday morning, the receptionist was very rude; when I arrived for breakfast at 06.59. I was asked to leave the room as breakfast was not ready. My feeling was she was very blunt. Once I had finished breakfast I asked if my sheets could be changed as I had an accident as I suffer from Crohns disease. She that she would organise this never happened. So I was disappointed when I returned to my room.

Mr. Jigs is a charming small hotel with an excellent location, close to the center of Venlo. The staff is very friendly and courteous. There is a fantastic modern bar that serves some of the best cocktails in Venlo in the evening and great espresso and croissants in the morning. Regarding the rooms, they are clean but very small. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The beds were very comfortable, we slept well.

The bathroom is separated from the sleeping area by only a glass wall, providing no privacy for using the toilet or showering. There is also limited space for storing luggage or hanging clothes.

Situated at the end of the high street the location is perfect. The Train Station is a 2 minute walk away, and there are lots of bars, restaurants and cafes within an easy walk away. Although in close proximity to nightlife there is no noise inside the hotel despite our window and small balcony facing onto the main street The bed was super comfortable, like sleeping in a cloud. Breakfast is simple continental style and very pleasant.

There is no night porter or on-site staff presence after 23:00. This made it difficult to gain access when my wife retired early and I couldn't wake her to let me into the building. The off site intercom attendant didn't know what to do as it was their first night on the job and there were obvious security concerns about giving me access. I did eventually manage to wake my wife and she let me in to the building. Manage your keys carefully

Next to the train station and 2 minutes to the parking garage and also at the city Center to Venlo down town. You could just do everything walking. Perfekt WhatsApp Canal for informations where to park and where to eat etc. . Cabal started with the booking and you could ask everything important. Breakfast: different with „only“ Croissants, jams, lot of fruits and Coffee but just great. We loved that. More then ok for a night. Friendly stuff Rooms: done were good and quit.

Mr. Jigs has quickly become my absolute favorite spot to stay in Venlo! It's perfectly situated just a stone's throw from both the train station and the vibrant city center. The rooms are truly fantastic—spotless, cozy, and incredibly inviting. And don't even get me started on the breakfast—it's a delicious way to kick off the day! The staff is exceptional, going above and beyond with their warm and friendly service.

I enjoyed the general experience of staying at Mr Jigs. I booked only a few minutes before arriving in the late evening but the staff was there to receive me and even helped show a place to securely park my bicycle. The room was economical but by no means cheap or unpleasant. The location was very great, being on a calm but lively and green street in central Venlo where I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast on the outdoor terrace where I was treated to free coffee and snacks.

After a week in a big city, it was lovely to unwind and have a rest at Mr. Jigs, Venlo. We enjoyed lounging in the Cocktail & drinks Cafe. The variety of Easter cocktails were delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The bed was a lovely size and comfy. The city had an Easter Egg Walk( Eierloop) and everyone was out having fun. Mr. Jigs also has a late checkout option and that is exactly what we did and then took a bottle of their signature Gin Mr. Jigs home with us.

From the moment we arrived all the staff that we spoke to were very polite and friendly. The room was very clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. A nice touch was croissant, fruit and tea for breakfast. Very good location close to station and town. Good ambience about the hotel. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Venlo next year.

We have stayed here before so knew what to expect... Modern clean hotel, bed very comfortable, croissants and fresh fruit for breakfast. Great location between station and town. All the ladies working at the hotel were very polite and friendly. Great hotel to stay in, and we will definitely stay here again when we return later this year.

This was our 2nd trip from the USA to visit our daughter and grandchildren. I couldn’t recommend a more perfect spot to have a great vacation with family and friends. Service and staff are so friendly and super helpful. We will plan another stay next year with them.
