I was worried the location would be noisy as it is across the road from the park/square, but that was quiet after about 9pm. The pool area is lovely, very relaxing...breakfast was amazing, lots of exotic fruits, omelets being made by the chef, big choice, green juices - all delicious. The room was large with 2 huge beds, lovely bathroom, very clean, hot water, and I love that there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. And 2 big bottles of water. Excellent hotel and staff.

The only critique I had, would be that the A/c was a little noisy, but I still slept! Beds very comfy.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at Hotel Plaza Colon in Granada, Nicaragua. This gorgeous property is perfectly situated in the center of Granada with easy walks to everything you would want to do in Granada. Every single staff member is on their toes constantly to deliver world class personal customer service from the moment you pass thru the beautiful entrance. The rooms of this exceptional gem of a hotel are spacious and beautifully decorated and maintained. Breakfast is delicious and provided in the luscious poolside environment. I can’t wait to visit this hotel again!

Nothing, It was a perfect 10!

Hotel is situated right across form the plaza. It is close to many bars and restaurants but not too close where it is noisy. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great! There is a beautiful swimming pool right within the complex. The staff was super-friendly.

The hotel is old which adds to the charm. Since it is old, the doors to the room are the old wooden types with real keys. This made the room seem not so secure but I never felt a threat or concerned that my room might be broken into. It felt very safe.

Absolute top tier hotel in Granada. Excellent location, just next to the central park. Very close to the main attractions. The staff and service are excellent as well, and they have no problem with English. The patio is very nice, i love the pool and sitting places. The room is large and well equipped, very clean and hot water is sufficient for shower (really rare in Nicaragua). After all it is perfect for a vocation in Granada. The breakfast is also good.

In the morning, you may be waked up by other guests’ talking and the service trolley if your room is on the 1st floor.

Very nice hotel in central park. The staff was very helpful and professional, especially Carlos. We felt safe and they always had security at the main entrance. Parking around the corner in a secured lot was convenient. The room was very clean and beds were amazing. We look forward to our next stay at this hotel.

The location has its pros and cons. The only con i can think of is that when you walk out there is always someone waiting to sell you something. The security does a good job of minimizing this as much as possible.

This is a wonderful hotel with a caring helpful staff including the security guards has a great location on the plaza near lots of restaurants the hotel in a combination of beautifuly restored former residences blends old with new the interior gardens are well maintained the breakfast was delicious and ample everything you would want in a hotel and more

The hotel employees made us feel safe and exceeded our expectations. They recommended places for us to visit and even had an employee escort us to a location to exchange money. The bartender stayed open longer for us and let us know if we needed any drinks before he closed. The breakfast was great and the employees were very attentive with coffee and any other thing we would need.

Its a main busy street and there was loud music playing late at night which the hotel had no control over.

Colonial-style hotel in the most central location possible, with friendly personnell who helped to hire taxi to go to San Carlos. Breakfast (buffet) on first two days (weekend) excellent, on Monday quite slow and restricted choice

Both air conditioning and fridge were very loud so we had to switch them off and on for having a good sleep.

My husband, one year old, and I stayed here and I highly recommend it. The facilities were immaculate with a gorgeous pool, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. They provided a crib for us, and have a secure parking lot. The location is unbeatable- right off the main square.

Everything was perfect. Facility is beautiful and the location is within walking distance of best restaurants, shops, activities. Body importantly, the staff are so friendly and courteous and anticipate your needs. Breakfast buffet was bountiful and delicious I can't think of anything
