The staff was great, and the food/coffee at the attached cafe were nice. Everyone onsite was friendly and helpful. The AC in my room worked very well. I think I had the most basic room, but it was very large. The shower was good pressure with hot water. The shuttle booked to the airport through the hotel was also great-- showed up a few minutes early to meet me and was patient until I was ready. He got me there quickly as well.

The church bells ringing literally 20 times before 7AM every week day woke me up. There is also a small window above the hotel room door only (no other window in the most basic type of room), and although it has a covering, light still streams through at night. There was also an intermittent clanging sound on and off a few of the nights-- I wasn't sure if it was someone trying to get in after hours or if it was hotel water pipes, but it woke me up.

We enjoyed the breakfast, but not the price we paid. It was supposed to be included in our stay according to our booking agreement and at the time of check-in it was confirmed.

We were supposed to have breakfast included in our stay, however we were charged for the meals each day. I didn't argue since we had to leave immediately but next time I would definitely confirm that each day with the waitress before they bring you anything. I believe there was a different menu we were supposed to choose from.

Lovely accommodation, high ceilings and a beautiful courtyard with pool. A great location opposite the church. Some staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Amazing balcony, excellent housekeeping.

Our fridge wasn't plugged in before arrival, and popping the A/C on 30 mins before arrival would be appreciated. Also even though our room was clearly ready, we weren't allowed to check in 2 hours early which is poor customer service in our view, there is no need for this. There was no coffee in the room, despite there being a machine. Toiletries are a bit sparse.

Around 50 minutes drive from Managua airport this hotel is very central to Granada just a few minutes walk from the historic cathedral square. The hotel building is simply lovely. Photos hanging inside show the hotel as a ruin some years back but it has been lovingly restored and is now very modern but still retains the old colonial charm. The receptionists were all very professional and polite and spoke good English. My room had a window looking into the swimming pool courtyard which meant it had no view but also no street noise. It was a large very clean room, with a fridge, armchair, and a nice large bathroom and good shower. The bed was large and comfy and the aircon was very good. The hotel breakfast was very acceptable and the waitress that served me was delightful. The wifi was great. Outside was not well lit at night but felt safe enough to wander around without concern. Highly recommended and great value for money

A room safe deposit box would have been well received as I didn't really want to carry cash and passport around the city. Maybe a hanging area/wardrobe in the room would have been useful. Nothing to do with the hotel but I was very anxious about a supposed form some websites say you must complete to enter the country using a portal from the Nicaraguan Ministry of the Interior. I completed it but my application still hadn't been approved a month later when I left for the country. Nevertheless it was NOT required for general short-term tourists and there was no fuss in entry at the passports.

I am glad we stayed at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to help us. A special thanks to Kesselh for helping us book our tours and also for giving us such a great recommendation for food. Also, special thanks to Justin who also did the best to accommodate our needs. I also loved that the hotel was near the central plaza and not on it because we were far from the noise during the weekend.

Rooms were huge with plenty of seats and the beds were very comfortable. Great view from the room overlooking the La Merced Church. Decent water pressure and has hot water. Has a restaurant on-site with very good food and attentive staff.

Hard to find fault with this place. The jacuzzi was not working the 2 nights we were there and I never saw anyone trying to fix it.

This hotel is beautiful and right in the middle of town. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Nice restaurant and great staff. Had filtered water available in the lobby. Room was very spacious. Very pretty pool area. Also, great price.

Wasn't able to get hot water in the shower or out of the tap.

We love Hotel Real La Merced. It is the only hotel we stay in when we visit Granada. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated old colonial mansion, and is conveniently located just a couple of blocks away from the Central Park. It is visually stunning. The staff are second to none. They are always going out of their way to ensure that we are comfortable and that we have everything we need.

There is nothing we could possibly dislike or criticize.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They are a credit to the hotel. Reception can even help to organise tours. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very clean. It's in the centre of Granada so plenty of options for restaurants. Breakfast is lovely with plenty of options. Management checked in with me several times to see if I was happy.

Nothing!

The staff were so happy and made guests very welcome. Location is excellent, close to the busy areas and also far enough away to allow relaxation. I'd recommend a guided walking tour and also the deaf cafe nearby. The breakfast was excellent, filling and just perfect to set you up for the day ahead.
