We enjoyed our stay at the Thon Hotel in Bodo, despite the weather. We were warmly greeted and provided good information about parking and also recommendations for an evening meal, we were also happy to hear about the waffles and soup that was made available at different times of the day. We found our room to be comfortable and will all necessary amenities, the bed was comfortable and we slept well. We were also extremely happy that as we were leaving prior to breakfast time, we were provided with a small lunch bag as a replacement, this was brilliant and greatly appreciated.

We found the bathroom to be small, and the shower was unable to contain the water and therefore basically flooded the bathroom.

The check-in experience was warm, friendly, and helpful. Coffee and waffles available on arrival were a nice touch. The hotel and room itself is very clean and well presented. Outstanding breakfast. The staff are warm and friendly. All guests seemed happy, relaxed and refreshed.

Nothing. Some may not like that it is an older building with somewhat dated decor. This was not an issue for us and certainly did not detract from the experience. It has a 'classic' vibe.

Breakfast offering was one of the best I've seen, complete with freshly made omelettes and pancakes. Everything was tasty and lovely. The hotel was located in an area that was quiet enough, yet it was not far to walk to the harbour or to the mall at the center of Bodø. The common lounge area was nice and roomy. The service personnel were very friendly and helpful.

The light beside the bed didn't work. It was midsummer and there was a lot of light anyway, so this was only a minor irritant.

This is a lovely little hotel a 15 minute flat walk from the airport and maybe 5 minutes' walk from the edge of the city center. Although the decor in the rooms and hallways is a bit dated, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the coffee area and breakfast room are sunny and peaceful and the breakfast is fantastic. The staff was wonderful with requests (I have an excessive need for pillows) and there is a lovely woman who assists in the breakfast area and made my coffee for me and inquired about our visit to Norway. My father had a medical emergency while we were there (he's fine now!) and Tone at the front desk was an angel sent from heaven -- she gave him first aid, made doctor's appointments for him, and arranged all the transportation. I don't know what we would have done without her!!

Pretty hotel just few minutes away from the airport. We were received by a very friendly and helpful lady at the reception, she gave us all the info about the hotel and explained we had to walk the hotel private underpass to reach our rooms. Taking into consideration we were a family they gave us connecting rooms. We were also informed that the hotel provided out to 9PM, warm soup (very good) and bread + beverage to all the guests. In the morning the staff was very helpful and attentive in helping us with a small issue with the taxi (we ordered a large on for 4 people + 4 large bags and instead a small one showed up). The staff was with us until the issue was resolved and they contacted directly the taxi company to ensure everything was properly adjusted for us.

the only thing I would highlight are the bathroom and shower which are tiny.

The staffs are very friendly. It has free waffle, soup and bread, coffee and tea at the lobby. Breakfast is good even though the choices are pretty standard. The location is good and it is very close to the ferry terminal.

There is no parking in this hotel. Everything looks pretty outdated.

Very friendly staff who prepared a to-go breakfast for us, as we had to check out very early the next morning. The hotel provides guests with waffles and soups in the evening for free in the small lounge area. Our room was fairly small, but comfortable and quiet. Nice location close to the commercial areas at the harbor in Bodo, and walkable to the airport in about 10-15 minutes.

Nothing, we had a nice stay!

Breakfast was really good. They offered fresh omelette, healthy food. What We really loved is the sitting area next to reception. What we didn’t expect is the waffle time, and warm soup between 19-21. It was a really nice experience.

Probably the ventilator in the bathroom was a little loud? but we still could have a good night sleep.

Best breakfast we had in Norway, waffles with fruit and flottere cream in the afternoon, very central, good parking opportunities, very nice staff, very nice area for just sitting

All perfect, bathroom old fashioned but clean

Fantastic accomodation in Bodo! I had such a great time staying here with my girlfriend! I wished it would be more than a night! Really friendly reception! Hotel offers even some small dinner and also waffles which were superb! The bed was also super comfy and the hotel really clean. The breakfast for Norwegian standard was just fantastic. Loved it soooo much! So many choices! I can't wait to come back soon! If I had the chance I would give 12 out of 10 :)
