Great location at the harbour of Bodö, there is a rooftop bar with great views over. Excellent breakfast with a very delicious smoothie as a bonus.

Plenty of space in the breakfast room, but the otherwise very nice breakfast buffet was squeezed into a too small space. There was only one machine for espresso/latte/cappuccino etc which got congested even though the room was less than half occupied. Soundproofing between floors could have been better as noise from people walking upstairs was too easily heard. The elevator behaved somewhat erratic regarding priorities going up and then back down before reaching the highest of the floors requested.

The location is perfect — close to everything we needed. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout our stay. The room itself was very nice: clean, well-designed, and cozy. We especially appreciated the high-quality furniture, comfortable bedding, and great pillows, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, a stylish and welcoming place with a great atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the room had several issues that impacted our stay. First of all, the soundproofing was very poor — during the day, someone in a nearby room was clearly having a romantic encounter, and we could hear absolutely everything. It was quite uncomfortable, especially with a child. Secondly, although the room had blackout curtains, they didn’t fully block out the light during the polar day (we stayed in mid-July). Sunlight came through the edges, and the room remained too bright for comfortable sleep — which was important for us and our child. Lastly, the bathroom had a hairdryer (which I appreciated since I forgot mine), but it was very old, had a short cord, was dusty, and made terrifying noises when turned on. I ended up not using it because it felt unsafe.

Great location close to the harbour and the central bus station. Just a short walk to the city center. Many restaurants, cafes, shopping opportunities nearby, all in walking distance. Only 5 minutes by bus from the airport. Our room on 11th floor was very good, there was a hiking map on the wall with popular routes and viewpoints around Bodø. Nice bathroom, lovely view, small fridge and coffee cups & electric kettle. Bed was comfy but too soft for us. Generous check-out time. We were even able to spot Northern lights from the bar on floor 13!

Room was clean and super comfortable. Not the biggest but, I was a single traveler and paid for the cheapest room they had. I am sure they have bigger ones. Staff were AWESOME! From reception to breakfast; everyone I interacted with was wonderful : ) Breakfast was SUPERB!!!! Really nice coffee. Really wide selection of food. They had a separate gluten free section which I really appreciate given that I have an allergy to gluten. I will definitely stay again.

Bar closed by 10pm. I fancied a glass of wine but not to be.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bodø, and it was a fantastic experience! The location is perfect, offering stunning views of the harbor and easy access to local attractions. The rooms were modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds that ensured a great night’s sleep. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options catering to all dietary preferences. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, making my stay even more enjoyable.

However, I did notice that the room curtain was dirty, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this standard. It didn’t overshadow the experience entirely, but it’s an area that could use improvement.

It was really near harbour and also to the airport, so for a one night stay - ideal 🙃

A bit small room, but for one night OK

Location is the best, centre of town, near everything, opposite library and concert hall. You can walk to the airport if you like (20 mins at slow pace), or taxi or simple bus ride (no.1). On the small harbour, nice to watch the boats. Breakfast and staff 10/10, worth every penny. Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Taxis can be easily booked at the reception and reception staff very professional and helpful. Bar on top floor required 2 flights of stairs but nice once you get there and good drinks. Booked a standard twin room but received a double. Not appropriate for me and my mother. Arrived late at night so slept and changed it the next day. Next room was a slightly larger and if I return, I would book the larger room as the other was a little small and noisy (from nearby bar?). Would have given 10/10 if we had received the appropriate room on arrival.

I would choose the larger room if returning as the smaller one is a bit tight if a twin.

Comfortable bed with very good quality bedding and towels. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! A very impressive selection that always looked fresh. The view of the harbour from our window was lovely. The service and friendliness of all the staff we encountered.

Oddly … we could hear the person in the room next to us (or above us) move around and sneeze. The harbour view is awesome but put a bit more distance between us and shopping and restaurants.

Breakfast was superb, with excellent varieties. Location is in the centre and very close to the airport. Also, it is easily reachable via walk to restaurants, bars, and shops. There is also a convenience store right at the front entrance of the hotel that offers hot foods, coffee, and snacks.

They could have made a small breakfast for early check-out (like a takeaway box). since these guests would miss breakfast. Some other hotels do that, i.e., Scandic Havet.

There's a real timelessness to the hotel's architecture; it's mature, yet immaculately kept. Our room was a delight, offering a picturesque harbor view and, unexpectedly, a truly chic Scandinavian armchair. The attention to detail throughout was impressive. What truly stood out, though, was the reception: even after midnight, we were met with a welcome so genuinely warm it ranks among the very best of our travels.
