Good location near the railway station and by the river. Quite new building so it was all nice and clean.

The door of my room did not lock properly. I notified reception and I was moved to another room. Which had the same issue. I am not sure if there is some particular way of locking the door, but usually you would think that it is enough just pulling the door closed. Not really a huge deal on my part but it was a bit unsafe feeling.

Wonderful staff at reception and in the lobby area could not do enough to help, booking in was a breeze, rooms were great and comfortable, bed was also comfortable. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel The food was fabulous. Breakfast was second to none probably the best we have had in the last 14 days well worth staying here.

Coffee in the room was horrid but there were machines in the lobby.

The room was nicely designed/decorated, and it was clean and spacious, and thankfully the same can be said for the bathroom. My room had a nice view to the river and the room had great good furniture and other details that I appreciate a lot: like a full body mirror, and ironing table with and iron machine, and some hangers and places to hang clothes. Also a little desk, useful when I need to write or work a little.

Here I am really in the realm of nit-picking because I had no complaints for the hotel, maybe that the switches to turn off the lights were on only one-side of the bed, making it hard to turn off from the other? I hope you can see this is something silly and minor. Also, I didn't use the gym so I cannot speak of it, but I really have no complaints as for the rest. I have tried three hotels in Drammen and this is by far the best so far.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Despite being near the train station it is very quiet. Attentive and welcoming staff who changed my room immediately upon request (one of the lights in bathroom was flickering and I have epilepsy). Fantastic breakfast, great selection and quality of food. Comfortable rooms, nice bathroom. I have only positive things to say.

Breakfast was good. Easily accessible. Might need a bit more room to sit. Almost all tables were in use 2 days in a row. Wifi is easy to access and works well.

Menu could also be provided in English. Only a Norwegian menu was available. The hotel accepts an AMEX business card at the reception but not at the restaurant. Parking is quite expensive everywhere, especially if you need to park overnight. Maybe the hotel can hand out vouchers for their guests.

This was our first trip to Norway. We arrived to Drammen by train. The hotel is a stones throw from the train station, overlooking the river and walking distance to the city. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was superb, one of the best we've had! Our room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing! Wish I could have stayed longer and enjoy breakfast more but had to catch the airport train. Open up a bit earlier? the security at airport at Oslo was a nightmare!

the only suggestion is open breakfast earlier. there were a dozen people waiting to get in at the 6:30 opening time.

Thanks to the very kind staff who were helpful in answering all of our questions. We also liked the comfortable beds and new-looking clean room and the many options for breakfast (including vegan/vegetarian/glutenfree ones). The convenient location close to the train station was also a great plus!

There could have been more hooks/places to hang your towels. But that’s a very minor issue.

well position with the river view. parking possibilieties outside. easy to find. clean inside and enough accesories. fast elevators unblocking only with room cards.

Change the batteries of the remote control for TV :) The over carpet was arranged on the bed exactly with a hole up :) - maybe a comic view of the one who clean :)

Overall we enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and we liked that there was a smart TV in the room so we were able to cast Netflix and enjoy watching our favorite shows. The room was comfortable and the hotel felt new.

The only reason I scored the hotel 9/10 is the vegan options for breakfast. It was nice to see several plant-based milks, but I wish there were actually vegan food options like plant-based chesses, cream cheese (there was a sign for a plant-based cheese but it kinda felt like no one from the kitchen has ever seen that actually and there wasn't any served). Hot options, like potatoes and beans should be signed as vegans if they are (we had to ask several times if these dishes are vegans), and overall it was pretty sad that we paid for breakfast but didn't eat anything. I'm sure non-vegans, such as people with lactose intolerance, would enjoy those options as well, so you should consider that. There's no parking available at the hotel, so you'll need to pay for parking.
