Fantastic trip to Fløro and one of the things that made it unforgettable was staying at Kinn Hotel. From the beginning we had a warm welcome with Norwegian waffles, blueberries cake and good coffee. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, Arthur the manager was very friendly and helpful at all times, he gave us incredible tips and even took us to see different pathways and viewpoints, including the beautiful Brandsøyå, he also took us to the port to take the boat to Kinn. We give 5 stars to the delicious breakfast. Spotless and cozy family room with comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the games room (ping pong table, pool and air hockey). Quiet location, 15 minutes walk from the port and 20 min from the center. Several walkable pathways near the hotel. We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right in front of the hotel.

Brenda at reception was extremely pleasant and very helpful. We arrived early, hoping to let our bags there, but Brenda invited us to have some complimentary coffee and cake while she checked if the room was ready. It was! Brenda also booked an airport shuttle for us the following morning and came in at breakfast to give us a 10 minute heads up for departure. Breakfast was fabulous, amazing choice of hot and cold meals and drinks, 4 stars🌟 Coffee, tea and cake available to guests daily till reception closes!

No public toilets in hotel, so you need yo go back to your room for facilities.

Excellent hotel very close to town, yet felt remote. Delicious buffet breakfast provided with the room…the lovely lady employed in the dining area was super sweet, even in busy times. The desk staff members were kind as well. Very close to a nice hike as well as restaurants near the water. Loved visiting the Coastal Heritage Museum and taking a hike behind it for terrific views.

Nothing negative to say

The hotel was very nice, special due to the good price/quality rating, you get real value for your money. The Hotel is quite new, all was nice, clean and neat. The size of the room was nice and the bed was very good and comfortable. There was a nice size TV on the wall and the Wi-Fi worked very fine. The breakfast was really nice and lots of choice in types of bread, pastries, even there was a section with full English breakfast items.

There was still some building going on

Located in the most western town in Scandinavia, we really enjoyed our stay in the hotel and remote town. Quiet hotel, we also booked the dinner (it comes from a bistro nearby) and it was really good!. The hotel has also a wide play room in the basement with billiards and ping-pong table, and a TV with couches. Kids enjoyed Disney+ movie, and we spend a lot of time in that room. Breakfast was amazing (the very best after ten nights in different hotels in Norway) and the staff was very helpful (e.g. we asked to freeze some ice cubes for our mobile fridge). Huge TV in the room!

The only weird thing was the shower floor that didn´t catch all water because of the poor angle to the drain, and wet the bathroom even with a major effort to avoid it

Every staff person that we encountered was very helpful. The room was exceptionally clean (even though on the small side), and the breakfast buffet was great. It was very quiet, too. Also, while our reservation said that there were only stairs to the upper floors, they recently installed an elevator, so that was a nice surprise.

There was nothing we didn't like.

This is a great hotel to stay in Florø if you are on a budget. I has everything you need at half the price of the sentrum hotels. It takes about 15 minutes to walk along a quiet street into town centre and they do good cake and coffee in the afternoon

There is ongoing improvement work but it’s not a problem

The room actually consisted of 2 adjacent rooms, which was wonderful ! Parking spot next to the hotel, very clean towels and bed linen, fridge in the room, amazingly diverse breakfast, fruit and cakes available at the reception desk (free of charge), great option for a short stay if you travel further north.

I am happy with all I got

Have stayed at this hotel before so knew what to expect. Basic accommodation near the airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee/tea with cakes (some homemade). Free and good WIFI. Large TV in the room. Good and varied breakfast, again with warm and friendly staff. Was able to change my booking without any problem. Ample parking

If you do not know where this hotel is, it's easy to drive past. Small maintenance in room (towel rack kept falling down).

Breakfasts were FABULOUS! Best we've had in 4 weeks in Norway! Comfy lounge ~ coffee, tea and cake available all day. Good elevator.

Floro didn't have good restaurants ~ not much to see or do.
