Great hotel in a great location. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed although in room coffee making facilities would be welcome. The decor was very hygge and the bed super comfortable with crisp linen. The breakfast was EPIC, plenty of variety for all palates and it all tasted good too. Free car parking for guests.

Towels in the spa and pool area for staying guests would have been useful rather than walking down and finding we had to take some from the room. The lifts were dire with the doors closing and lift moving off before you could get inside. The hotel was like a maze and it was difficult to navigate the corridors.

Very comfortable hotel. Good Location - opposite the Contemporary Art Museum, close to shopping centres and at least one excellent restaurant. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Great selection of well prepared and tasty food. The photo of the outside of the hotel does not do justice to it. From the photo, I thought it looked like a shopping mall. Actually, it looks very nice from the outside.

It would have been nice to have a kettle and some cups in the room to make tea and coffee.

I was already at the Scandic and is a good hotel for the night, for a short term.  The room was OK, the swimming pool was not bad, the gymnasium was small. This has buffet for dinner and had many choices and not too expensive. The breakfast was good and with many things and the possibility to take it with you for a small amount, for launch for example. So, for one night I recommend

Nothing special to say. We encountered an excursion, and on that occasions the cosine and dinner did not go very well, to many people, but except that is ok.

Friendly and welcoming staff. I had a large spacious room. I had to wake up early and leave but there was this Amazing breakfast that kept me brimmed with energy for many hours later.

Really small fridge in the room, and also not really cold either.

Good breakfast buffet but appeared short staffed took a long time to clean tables. Have three bicycles to rent

Staff unfriendly. Only hotel in Norway that asked to fill out a form with email phone number etc. extra charge for using spa.

The buffet dinner offered was too expensive. Not worth the money they charged.

Staff was not very helpful, we were also assigned a single room instead of a double (we were able to switch but you had to ask for everything explicitly)

Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, clean and large rooms, excellent spa. Good drinks in the bar! It's a great hotel! Easy to find and free parking. Very happy with our stay!

We were upgraded to a suite which was extremely spacious and comfortable. The receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly. This is a modern efficient hotel located in an accessible junction for travelers of the fjords and glaciers. Breakfast is generous.
