From the outside the hotel looks quite dated, but the rooms are nicely renovated, with good and clean beds. The room itself was also very clean. I must give my compliments to the person that designed the small badroom, how they fitted a really useable badroom in a little less than 3m2 is quite a thing, only the sink could have been a bit wider and deeper. The breakfast had a really wide selection of items, including full English and a real coffee/espresso machine, not only the pot or thermos like unit that has almost always a bit to old stale coffee in it. The Wi-Fi worked fine and the view out off my street side room was amazing at the river and the fjord in the distance, including a really beautiful sunset.

- They offer a parking space and parking garage, both at the back of the hotel. If you use them, you can use the backdoor via a couple of steps, but that ends up on the landing of the stairs between level 3 and 4. - Parking garage floor was so dirty I wouldn't want to put any of my luggage items on it. - The busy road (E39) in front and mall/bar/restaurant area on the other side of the river can be it bit noisy, if you like the window a bit open, bring earplugs, if you are sensitive to the noise. - The elevator is quite small and old, but it worked still fine. - They don't have a restaurant for dinner, but on the other side of the river are lots of places where you can eat, choice enough on a couple of minutes walking

Absolutely fantastic breakfast, nothing was missing.eggs bacon bread different coffee juice vegetables and last but not least appreciated lot of fresh fruit, melon,ananas,grapes.it could have been the best ever for me.Very good indeed!

All was good except for a massive thunderstorm during night but hotel couldn't been hold responsible for that!

Considering the accommodations in Norway , The room was perfect in terms of room space and facilities. No kitchen available but this is a hotel and the breakfast and dinner ( buffet) are always available . In particular the breakfast was really really good and it worth the price we spent! I really recommend this hotel! Also the parking is free and in front to the hotel!

The price is not cheap but the breakfast is included

We booked 2 suites for a night , on the way from Geiranger to Bergen. Nice hotel, good staff. We came down at the last hour of breakfast, so many items were finished and they were not refilled or re supplied. For example melon fruit, orange juice, half boiled eggs, milk for tea,

Breakfast item’s could have been re supplied or re filled till the end of breakfast hours. Those come at the last hour did not get much items.

Fantastic beds, great mountainview and very luxury breakfast. Hotel is located directly near the city center and has good free parking.

Personnel didn't give out any information about the option to park for free in their garage or info about breakfast the next day. We were handed the keycard and that's that. On checkout we had to wait 15 minutes because there was no one at the reception. There was a sign in norwegian that said to call a number for someone to come down, but we don't speak norwegian, nor could we reach the number.

Hotel located straight on the way to Bergen. Amazing breakfast ! Very varied - a lot of food choices

We were at night not so hot but it is impossible to sleep with the window closed - it is still hot because the curtains are closed because the nights are very short in the summer and we didn't want to wake up early at sunrise. Noise from the road also returned a bit, even though we got a room on the top floor

Great stop when driving from Alesund to Bergen. A nice little city, the hotel is good - we only stayed one night. Nice area, good restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly, room size is good, parking available.

The room is large and very clean. The breakfast was really good.

I wish there was an electronic kettle in the room. The hotel may have issue of staff shortage. when we arrived, there was only one girl working at the desk serving drink, and we have to wait for checking in .

Quiet room at the back of the hotel. The room was renovated and all was good. On the other side of the road is a shopping mall and restaurants

The sink in the bathroom was very small and placed on the corner. There is enough spacefor a langer sink

Staff were extra friendly. Breakfast options were massive and so delicious... Please pass on my compliments to the chef. The small, basic room was actually quite large. It felt more like an Airbnb with its own person touch of a bookshelf, couch and tv in a separate room to the bedroom, etc. And, it was all at a low price.

Nothing, it was a perfect stay.
