It is a nice and small hotel, a little bit like a stay on a boat with many corners and stairs. The atmosphere is familiar and all stuff very friendly. You need to be a bit tolerant during this period of the year due to special breeding seagulls - an endagered species. The babies are sitting everywhere and demanding for food. If you are searching pure nature you are at the right side of the World. Food is good and the captain is really doing everything to help out.

Very clean, beautiful location, funky village with lots of interesting structures, midnight sun at its best. Nesting ( and very noisy)gulls...

Rooms are very compact and small. Bring your shades as window coverings don't cover the windows and at this time of year it's light all night! No sauna in any rooms inspite of bookings description!

Living and dining area was very comfortable and had amazing views. I hurt my ankle on a gorgeous hike and had to stay in on a rainy day. Couldn’t have had a better place to keep my leg up. Beds were very comfy.

Stairway up to rooms is odd shape and steep. Not great for my injured ankle. Didn’t even try to close bathroom door while on toilet. 🥴

Wonderfully shambolic accommodation full of bric-a-brac. Lovely looking restaurant and charming host. Nyksund is quite a way from anywhere but well worth the detour to see. In March there was virtually nobody else there but I suspect it gets pretty busy in summer. Would highly recommend.

Holmvik Brygge is a true gem in Nyksund. Full of charm and old artefacts from bygone times. All kept as original as possible. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Comfy beds. Nice and clean all over. Lovely buffet breakfast which also catered towards gluten and lactose free food. Thank you for that. Nyksund itself has an interesting and unusual history and is a place well worth visiting. The rocky mountains and spectacular scenery surrounding Nyksund is also great for hiking.

The last bit of road leading to Nyksund isn't the best but no big deal as long as you drive slowly. A campaign to improve the road is already in motion.

We really liked the breakfast, and location of this place. Room was equipped very well, and the host very nice.

Bed too small for 2 people for a comfy rest. But each of us had separate set of bedding, that’s a huge plus

Everything from the amazing setting and friendly hosts to the charming and authentic interior and the delicious food. Highly recommended 🤩 This was our second two-night stay. We hope to return one day.

The reception with the young girls very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very quiet and cosy. The beakfast is wonderful We loved this place and Nyksund is fabulous..

Authentic cabins, with everything you need. It was a cold day so appreciated the hot showers and heating after a long hike. Restaurant was lovely and great food for dinner and breakfast.

It is an absolutely amazing place, calm, beautiful scenery, hiking paths, sea, mountains and a careful and helpful super nice host, Seemjon . I can‘t recommend it enough to stay there. It is perfect.
