We had a larger end room which was nice. The standard rooms are pretty small. It was comfortable and served our purpose for 3 nights. Good location near the 'center' of town where there is good shopping and a good grocery store, but very few places to eat. Staff was excellent. Very helpful and always availabe. High praise for them!

Breakfast buffet was good, though it looked a lot better than it actually was. The fake scrambled eggs were particularly bad, with lots of water leaking out of them. Coffee machines were very good. Having to pay around US$12 a day to park overnight was kind of a ripoff, and you need to have the EasyPark app set up on your phone or it will cost more by the time you get the bill.

I had a fantastic stay, and what truly stood out was the flexible approach of the staff in handling any requests or questions. The breakfast was extensive, offering a variety of dishes that you rarely find even in 5-star hotels. The kitchen and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to recommend the best dishes. The team here is truly remarkable, ensuring that every issue is resolved promptly and efficiently. They are among the best hotel staff I have encountered during my travels. A huge thank you to everyone for their dedication and passion for their work!

As for improvements, there are only minor details that don't affect the overall experience. Some items, like a few towels and the hairdryer, could be replaced as they have almost reached their lifespan.

The views. The location is a good location for doing multiple day trips on this part of Lofoten.

We did not realize you have to ask to have them to clean if you’re staying multiple nights. We did ask at the front desk to have them clean in the morning and when we got back in the afternoon, it wasn’t clean and we had to ask for towels. We later realize there’s a QR code that was displayed in the elevator that we could ask for cleaning. But it wasn’t in our language.

Fridge doesn't work inside closed cabinet as it gets too hot and doesn't get cold at all. View from the rooms on back of the hotel is to harbor / storage area which is not that nice. No free parking. No prices visible before you go in. Max. 95 NOK per 24h if you park your car and do not leave! 15 NOK per half an hour. So if you come and go couple of times per day it gets expensive as counting starts from zero every time. It should be max. 95 NOK per 24h no matter how you come and go. Gladly there is chance to avoid this by parking elsewhere...

One of the best Scandic hotels I’ve stayed in Norway. New, clean, and modern, with friendly staff who accommodated an early check-in and upgraded us to a sea-view corner room. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and temperature control. The breakfast was rich and tasty, served in a pleasant dining room. The location is perfect, right next to the Hurtigruten ferry terminal, with on-site parking at 95 NOK/day. Staff worked hard to ensure windows were spotless. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Service in restaurant was really bad. No smile. Not listening. Leaving menu and running away. Leaving terminal of payment and bill and running away. Had to input the amount myself after asking her to know.what i had to do Food was ok. Nothing around. Industrial. Have to pay 20eur for the parking Beds too old or soft. Laying down, you are kind of folded in two.

Nice hotel, nice quiet room although hotel was really full, great breakfast, lovely view over the harbour and to the mountains on the other side. Good place to stay!

No free parking. AC in my room was leaking water at first, but front desk said that was ok and happening in many rooms. Cabinet in which the small fridge was heated up and almost smelled like burning. I tried to tell this to front desk while checking out, but no-one acknowledged me although I waited for 5-10 minutes at the desk.

The staff is less or my be undertrained as when requested cleaning but not done on time requested tv remote as it was missing but gave us a day later .. also the room booked was superior twin room wt double windows but upon check inn got a room wt double window with worst view of some containers. Had to request the other room then got room with view.

Very nice hotel by the harbour. Room was good and the breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Hotel is close to shops and some restaurants. We had dinner in the hotel and it was also very good.

Be aware that there is a car parking charge per 24hour period. You can come and go during that period without altering the total charge. In fairness the actual cost of parking per day was not excessive and park was at the door.

The breakfast and the views and the helpfulness of the staff. Some of the staff were new and they were also very good. I understood that the hotel was near to the port area and did not find this a problem at all

Being close to a brightly lit area - would be good to have public lights outside reduce the light pollution after about midnight and turn down or some of them off. I appreciate this is not entirely in the control of the hotel. The high charge for the car park - its a bit crazy when there are other options for parking but its a bit inconvenient to have to use them.
