Location is perfect! Great breakfast, clean and modern rooms. Pets are welcome. You could open the window to get some fresh air and room was dark at night. Room was close to the elevator which is important with dogs.

We booked for family room because we had our dogs with us and that's why we needed more space. It was changed to twin room by hotel. They told us that because family room has a sofa It is not much bigger than twin room, so we agreed with the change. Twim room was REALLY small. Beds were too close to each other - only 20 cm apart. We had to relocate small table to under the big table to get at least some space for the dogs.

Lovely location next to the water, very comfortable room (we got an upgrade), large bed, tasty and very versatile breakfast options. Very happy with our stay, also glad we could finally visit Thon hotels after seeing them on social media!

If i have to think of something, it is a strange vibration noise that maybe was coming from the harbour area that was heard every now and then - but it was not particularly disturbing.

We booked twin, but when we got to the hotel, the lady at the reception said twin rooms are not available, finally gave us twin rooms on lower level. The hotel doesn’t have private parking space, they suggested us to park at the shopping center which is very expensive. When we asked about the parking information at the street, the lady at the reception said she didn’t know which was not reasonable. Her attitude was not good and didn’t want to offer any help. We are not very happy with the hotel.

The reception staff was very friendly and helpfull, felt sorry for them though, since there was only one person working on both days and the customer queues were quite long on both days.

In a pet-friendly room there should be rugs on the floor. Often dogs do not like slippery floors and rugs would make them feel more comfortable in a strange environment. There were no towels or drinking bowls neither in the room for the dog, usually these are always offered by the hotel.

Very comfortable rooms and Comfy beds BUD we had 2 twin bed which was made to one doublebed But the beds where sliding apart which was very annoying! Great breakfast with a Lot of coices and the staff was great at the buffet! Location is really good and it had a terrace in the 6th floor

The checkIn guy was really disappointing He was a Bit Rude, cold and seems that every questions was annoying to him…. The Coffee machine which is free in the Lobby (Great Service) was not looking very clean and hygienic, so we didn‘t tried the Coffee in the Lobby …

Is in the central of everything, just across the road to pier for speedboat and Hurtigruten

Breakfast start from 6.30 am, should consider your guest will catch a speedboat at 7 am scheduled.The day before we check out Breakfast supervisor told me to provide a paper box which-we can pick any food and go. But never happen , one of the girl on that morning offer me a white paper I can pick up only plain pancake . These unacceptable quality of the staff in the breakfast room for Thon hotel which we believe the best in town

Back in Harstad once again, we came back to Thom Hotel. Reception was lovely and we even got another sea view room. Also got a good hint concerning parking as the hotel parking was full, but there's free options just down the road during the night which fit well with our flight plans. Breakfast was amazing again and we'll happily come back again to Thon in Harstad

Nothing to complain, there was no parking available but hotel staff gave us good alternative options! Our minibar contained an opened pack of crisps (sneaky previous tenant), no problem and was resolved without any issues! Excellent service.

Breakfast: amazing. Staff: amazing. Free coffee/tea/etc: amazing. Location to ferry: amazing. Restaurant next door: amazing. Wifi, log on without password: amazing. Help from staff regarding questions: amazing.

My room was hot. I never followed up with the front desk about it. It was definitely a thermostat issue. I was too tired to deal with changing rooms, but I know it was an option. I had called the front desk about it.

The reception staff was super friendly and welcoming, especially male staff on the day of our check-in. He couldn’t have been more gentle and helpful, big kudos to him! We had a fun room on the 6th floor with a very nice view and a small balcony. Very good breakfast (for non-vegans). For vegans it was still good: beans in tomato sauce, fried mushrooms, fried potatoes, and veggies of course. They even had a surprisingly good vegan mud cake! All in all, we loved our stay and would love to come back one day.

The room could have been more thoroughly cleaned. And there were no instructions on how to operate room’s AC.

Breakfast = best hotel breakfast I've ever had, and it was FREE! Staff = friendly, helpful, awesome (Sonje was amazing) Location = STELLAR. Right across from the ocean and near a bunch of cool stuff

My room didn't have a fridge, there were no laundry facilities, and the AC didn't seem to work (although, to be fair, I could have asked the staff who could probably have helped me). Other than that, it was an awesome stay. I'd love to go back.
