The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. I cannot emphasize this enough. The hotel was nice and tidy. The room temperature was perfect. Parking facilities were excellent, albeit we hadn't made a reservation so we had to use street parking on the first day. The staff at reception was very polite and helpful. The cleaning staff deserves special thanks for keeping our room clean, while strictly respecting our "please clean" or "please do not disturb" signs. It's in a very central location and very easy to reach, especially if you're traveling at Harstad or in the surrounding areas. (For Lofoten it's a bit too far, about 4 hours by car.) The price was very affordable. I don't think we would've been able to find a better hotel suited to our needs.

The television in the room did not support Netflix or other such streaming services, and despite our best efforts we couldn't get the casting feature working. Watching movies was not the primary goal of our stay so this remained a slight inconvenience, if that.

It’s close to the harbour and the centre of the town and therefore close to amenities and places to visit. You can decide when it’s time for the cleaning staff to clean your room and give you a new set of towels. The reception staff can guide you regarding places to visit. The buffet breakfast is excellent.

Our room was next to the lift and the noise was disturbing Modest room (and hotel in general) No equippment in the hotel (no pool, gym... basically nothing), the hotel didnt feel like 4-star hotel

My general impression was very good. Perfect hotel for a short stay in the downtown of Harstad. Close to the harbour, restaurants and grocery stores. Polite staff. Tasty and reach breakfast. Plenty to choose from. Luggage store available. Kettle in the room.

It was really warm in the room and the window could not be opened. Triple room was a bit small and we couldn't open the suitcases.

The reception was very friendly.. The location in the centre of Harstad was ok. It was easy to find a parking place.

The bathroom was clean and tide but a bit worn out. The water pressure in the shower was a poor. There was a long and narrow hallway in the room but the room was actually very small for four. The breakfast was good but a bit crowded and we had to share the table

A small night-table close to the bed would have been good. I also missed a tool for taking on shoes ('skoskje' in Norwegian) which I think should be standard on all hotel-rooms.

Good location and well equip, close to pier! Price is also reasonable. Various breakfast and nice view.

Reception boy didn’t inform us the instruction, not too friendly, but it’s ok, perhaps he tried. The main point is there is no private car parking provided. You have to find public parking near the hotel by yourself, however It’s free of charge before 8 am. You choose plan if you have a car.

Scandic has been my favourite place to stay whenever I'm in Scandinavia for a while now. I'm happy to say Scandic Harstad wasn't a disappointment as well. Phenomenal breakfast as always and quite a comfortable place to stay.

I had the bright idea of getting a hotel near the city centre, on a Saturday night, adjacent to a club of some sorts. Needless to say, they were partying like mad until quite late in the evening. Again, though, not all that bad given the price.

Breakfast was good for me. Bu for those who prefer fish instead of meat, there could have been some more choices.

Noise from seagulls in the area during the whole night made it impossible to sleep with an open window. But I realize that the hotel can probably not do much with this.

It was in a good position in the town with parking you pay for. Breakfast was excellent and lovely staff in there. Always smiling. Room was great. In fact it was lovely all round.
