The facilities are wonderful. I don't remember his name, but the bartender was excellent. He was friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent. The kick sleds for guests to use were so much fun. I'd love to return one day. Rorøs is a lovely place.

Our room, in what appeared to be an older part of the building, was small, dated and institutional looking. It really looked like a college dormitory. It was clean and efficient, but the rate was luxury hotel prices. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed in Norway during our 2 1/2 weeks, so we had much to compare it with. Facilities A+, room subpar.

Lovely hotel in a lovely town. Comfortable room with everything I needed. The hotel lobby is large with a fire and comfy chairs / sofas to relax in whilst looking out at the town below. Great facilities and breakfast spread, and friendly staff.

Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed. Although very close to the town train station, it is at the top of a hill, so very difficult in the snow if you have a large suitcase - would be great if the hotel could offer a shuttle service, rather than having to get a 2min taxi (with a very limited taxi service available).

We had a lovely stay at Røros Hotell! The location was perfect for exploring the charming town of Røros. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the wellness area with the pool was a highlight — such a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast selection was great too, with something for everyone. Staff were kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Big and organised hotel with very polite and friendly employees, ready to help with a big smile. The facilities were clean and tidy + comfortable and large beds. We really enjoyed the lobby with the fireplace and the relaxing atmosphere and the spa facilities. The menu was okay and the breakfast ,full of options + high quality - working with local ingredients and producers. Just a few metres away from the city centre.

We picked this hotel based on reviews. We walked from the train station which was uphill (so just for elderly people or folks who can't walk, please note) but were very glad we chose this hotel because we saw more of Røros, and the hotel was excellent. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable; the breakfast was generous and excellent, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. We wouldn't have seen so much of the town had we stayed elsewhere, and really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed the hotelroom, the very friendly receprion and bar staff. The spa was great (better at friday when there was a lot less guests than saturday). The room was super Nice and clean! We got to borrow a «spark» free of charge for our trips down to the town witch was great. Røros is a beautiful city you should visit!

We had dinner at the restaurant saturday night. The food was very good (very big portions), the staff seemed a little rushed and stiff.

Very nice hotel in Røros with beautiful decoration. The rooms were very spacious and the breakfast it was fantastic very complete with local products.

The swimming pool are could have an area to relax and read a book and the restaurant from the hotel is okay, but not exactly what I was expected.

Great bathing facility with pool and jacuzzi. Nice location, ambience. Great breakfast.

There was no air conditioner or cooler in the room. So, on warm days (20C+, like when we went) you have to keep windows open, and that can invite flies and mosquitoes in your room. That is a bit of tricky situation.

Excellent location, beautiful views, very clean room, the mattress was better than the one I have at home so a good night sleep I definitely had. The dinner buffet was excellent, delicious food, best choice than a restaurant outside, and also the breakfast was excellent. For sure I would come back here. Very friendly staff 😀👌

I liked everything.

Very nice country-style hotel with many amenities. About 5 minutes' walk from the historic city center and Røros Museum. There's a big hiking map in front of the hotel entrance, so if you're into hiking, you can jump right in. Comfy, spaceous room. Very friendly night manager at the front desk who offered me coffee and had a nice chat with me at 5 in the morning on departure day.
