The hotel is really very nice, situated in a beautiful environment, silence is granted because is situated far away from any source of noise. The staff was very kind to us acting in and kind a professional way. The room was wide and well illuminated, facing the huge pond surrounding the hotel. Breakfast was served in a wide environment, in the open air or in an air conditioned room at guests' choice. The whole structure is well worthing the money we paid and we had a pleasant staying.

Room cleaning was not adequate, should be better. We think it was also due to lack of supervision. Breakfast, self service, was abundant but the taste of food should be improved. Moreover the fact of serving chicharrones early in the morning should be reconsidered.

Add another guest pointed out, this place has so much potential. The property is enormous and well maintained; there are a lot of steps because the buildings are at different elevations. It’s a very park-like setting and the pond and guest rooms are set back and down from the road so you won’t hear any traffic. I stayed three nights, the bed was very comfortable, room clean and minimalist. They don’t have mini fridges or hairdryers, if that’s your thing. Weekday breakfast is a choice between two entrees with fruit, cheese, and Panamanian fry bread, the weekend was a nice buffet of typical Panamanian food, fruit, & pancakes. It was all tasty and well-prepared- the only time I’ve had buffet scrambled eggs that weren’t runny. Yay! I didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed my stay overall. A good place to bird watch, relax, and unwind.

It’s a little difficult to find reception- it’s in the casino parking lot one driveway past where it looks like it should be. There isn’t much to do in easy walking distance given the heat, so a car is necessary. The grounds would be tough to navigate for someone with mobility problems- lots of steps and uneven surfaces, though the ground floor rooms don’t have any steps and you can park right outside.

The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was good.

The music at the swimming pool was too loud. The coffee making facilities in the room were not refreshed when the room was cleaned.

The rooms are nice and big and very clean. The restaurant was pleasant and had good food choices. The grounds are pretty with a small lake on site.

Why does the pool areas need extra loud blaring music all day? That makes me stay away from it. No coffee making facilities in room.

The room coffee was ugly and there wasn’t sugar. It was so hot inside when we arrived, it would help to put on the air conditioner before the check in to make it comfortable

Comfortable bed,

I booked and paid for a suite, and they down graded me because I did not include my guests in the reservation. They were sold out and I'm sure they resold my suite for a higher price. They refused to give money back and instead offered me extra breakfast coupons and use of the pool. The breakfast was definitely not worth the down graded. The room safe also did not work and the windows I found unlocked.

Staff was helpful and nice. Room was spacious and clean. Nice balcony. Beds were comfortable. For us it was great for 1 night, passing thru.

Signage seemed small and non descript. We passed it by but went in the casino, which is part of the same property and drove all around, still not seeing reception, or realizing we were on the hotel grounds. Off season so the pond was low and full of scum. Felt like an impersonal place, not from the staff at all but just the atmosphere. Not easy to walk to town for dinner.

The room and bathroom were simple as well as clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The wifi was good, although at certain points in the room it was a little weak. The breakfast was also good... a typical, Panamanian breakfast. The pool looked clean.

The room was perfectly clean and everything was perfectly in order. The WiFi was very fast. Especially I liked the scenic view from the restaurant during breakfast. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was very good. The pool was nice with umbrella seats, and lounge chairs.
