The location is top!! Right on the beach and the surf school. The beds are extremely comfortable and with a light and electric plugs. The room is big and comfortable and the outside hammock is a blessing in such a place. The outside is very beautiful too.

There can be parties at the beach until 3 which you can hear from the dorms, especially on weekends. The toilets should be renovated and more clean. Sometimes the water in the shower wasnt the best, and one shower for 6 people might be challenging. The kitchen is too hot with no fan and sufficient light, fridge pretty disgusting but workind and always missing cutlery and dishes.

- Location is just near Playa Venao and you can actually leave your room and see the waves - good facilities for people looking to party and have everything in one place - clean room and easy to access through the bracelets the hostel provide

- Unfortunately the people coming here don't always adhere to the quiet time rules. Specifically, there were many times when people would sit on a chair in front of their room and listen to music to a portable speaker - Parties organized by the location last till 3 am and they happend quite often (3 nights/week) which makes sleeping quite difficult. I do not recommend this place for people who aim to sleep and work on a regular US schedule.

I haven’t moved from the accommodation-it’s got everything! From a restaurant to a surf school to a private beach and even an art studio. A gorgeous location. After 10.30 they turn off the music and it’s super calm.

There were not many travellers. I found it very difficult to meet anyone. There were only Israelis which were hanging out among themselves. I was missing some social activities.

Love the location and environment. The property is in front of the beach and the staff is really nice. Selina Playa and Selina River has a variety of wellness activitives.

When there are festivals or New Year’s event, the music is playing until 3:00/3:30AM, the bass is SO LOUD and makes the whole room vibrate. They warn us about the music but they can provide disposable earplugs for the noise.

Nice resort, right at the beach. Good for surfing! Reception staff was super friendly. Especially Anthony was very supportive and did a really good job solving an issue I had.

I stayed in a dorm. Room was fine but the bathroom could have been in better shape and more clean. The lock was broken and sometimes we got like locked into the bathroom. I didn’t like the vibe of other guests so much. Bit arrogant and not as welcoming as in other Selina’s I went to. If you like to party that’s the place to be during weekends.

I loved all about this place, the price was excellent, the place is by the sea so it has an amazing view, my room had AC and the swimming pool was big. Selina offers multiple activities some are for free and some cost you, I took a yoga class and was really good, you can take surfing classes too or just rent a board. You can bring your own food and store it at a shared kitchen or there’s a restaurant that is really good. And the first day they even gave me a welcome drink.😁 i would definitely go back.

I had an unforgettable stay at Selina Playa Venao from May 25 to May 26—what a gem! The hotel itself is vibrant, beautifully designed, and just steps from the beach. The food was absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and served with warm hospitality. Even though it was just one night, the energy, service, and setting made it feel like a true escape

Perfect location just by the best part of the beach, very comfortable with the pool, parties, restaurants area just outside, surf club and store.

The showers sometimes had hot water and sometimes not, the stream was always a bit weak, at least in my dorm room. Quite important in a place where you most of the time go to the beach/ pool/ surf lessons and you shower at least 2 times a day.

The area, the room and the hostel facilities

It was a bit weird the fact that I booked a tent, and they simply put me in a private room and charged me a bit more without asking beforehand. But that's not a problem because the room was better and really nice.. Just the lack of courtesy and sensibility to talk.

Didn’t enjoy the noise from the all night party - I understand Selina is a party place but does it need to be crazy loud until 6 am ? - also does the speaker need to be pointed to the rooms? Can you consider pointed the. Toward the ocean or keeping the. In the yoga deck | Otherwise lovely place .. totally recommended
