Beachfront property, very comfortable accommodation in separate bungalows. Very attentive staff, excellent breakfast.

The staff was amazing and superfriendly. They knew my habits and preferences and anticipated on that. They provided real good information, even though we didn't speak each others language. The whale tour was amazing, many whales jumped out of the water. Breakfast was large. The menu was great. Many sunbeds in different areas. Next to the pool you could tap free cold drinking water. It made my trip in Peru perfect!

The grounds are filled with brick pathways, as well as beautiful lighting and vegetation. There were several beach loungers available and we almost always had the area to ourselves. The beds were comfortable, the room spacious, the patio was perfect for reading and playing games with the kids, and our hammock was used often. The pool area was lovely and the seating plentiful. The game area included ping pong, magnetic darts, and we even introduced foosball to our kids. Be sure to bring your refillable water bottle as they have two water coolers where you can refill. We really appreciated this amenity! One of the best features of this property is the restaurant. The food was excellent and we had not one bad meal. The pizzas, seafood in all varieties including ceviche and chicharron de pescado made with the fish we caught on our excursion one day. Breakfast had a nice rotation and we enjoyed the tamales, chicharron, and fruit/yogurt parfaits especially. The drinks crafted by Darwin were delicious and our favorites were the pina colada and the maracuya mojito. Rut, Diego, Darwin, Chef Carlos and the rest of the team provided excellent service that most definitely sets this property apart from others. ​Our family really wanted to focus on using our week to unplug, relax, and have quality time and P​unta del Norte Bungalows allowed us to do just that. A masseuse was on site one afternoon giving massages on the second floor of the overlook. Super affordable, great massage and listening to the ocean waves was perfect. Bonfire on the beach one night which was a nice end to another great day at PDN. ​We did opt to try ​kayaking and fishing​/tortuga swimming set up through PDN. ​All four of us enjoyed these outings! The kids enjoyed walking along ​the beach ​searching for shell​s throughout the week​ and we enjoyed taking in the sunset every evening. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others as well! Thank you so much for the perfect week away!

Shower temperature was tricky to regulate (either cold or hot, not much in between) Unstable Wi-Fi in the room, but using the restaurant Wi-Fi corrected the problem. Coffee could use an upgrade. Maybe an espresso machine? Possibly consider adding one or two dessert options to the delicious restaurant menu. None of these are deal breakers, however, We enjoyed our stay immensely.

A very peaceful and relaxing stay in a beautiful setting! We had a suite with a view of the water and could hear the surf at night. A very nice buffet breakfast provided daily in a pretty and open setting near the water. Evening meals were in the same restaurant with a good number of items to chose from. The staff was exceptionally attentive and provided the best service we could ask for. Thank you so much to Ruth and others. We stayed at this resort for a week after touring Peru and couldn’t have had a better place to unwind and relax. The best pisco sours of our whole trip were at Punta del Norte!

Amazing little bungalow resort directly at the beach, lots of privacy, it never got crowded as there are only few bungalows. Staff was very attentive and made it an amazing beach vacation. Darwin and Clara were great, Christian exceptional. Great Cocktails. All in all a wonderful choice, though restaurant food and rooms are a bit pricey.

They have serious problems with the birds in the restaurant. They are pretty nasty, run around the tables and breakfast buffet. We didn't understand why they feed them. Restaurant food and breakfast buffet was OK and we were a bit over it after 6 days. Lastly, we didnt appreciate to be asked twice by the manager to give a 10 rating on booking. This is not the purpose of a review system and we felt a bit forced. Keep what you're doing, don't force the people and the 10 ratings come by themselves.

The hotel has everything you need to enjoy a great vacation. The food at the restaurant by Chef Carlos was amazing! Jefferson the tour guide for boat trips, ATVs and kayaks was beyond excellent! He is the best!!! … other staff was also wonderful giving us personal attention. Clara for breakfast was so sweet and efficient, John the barman knew our preferences, Rut @restaurant @nigjt was so especial and knew well what to do to make you feel especial! We thank all the staff for their dedication and professionalism! … only thing don’t overwhelm the visitors with request of favorable comments, trust your work! … after a week there we are more than happy with our hotel selection!

- Our room with the ocean view was spectacular. Massive, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, cozy terrace and a hammock just in front of it. - The bungalows are spreaded in groups of 3 around the land, making it feel very private. Everything is clean and pretty. - There is a lot of trees, plants and flowers around. - All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the maracuja sour made by Darwin. - The food was amazing. Chef Carlos did a great job, we liked especially leche de tigre and arroz chaufa with fish. - The hotel offers many tours and activities, we went on a whale watching tour and swimming with the turtles in one tour. We saw many whales :)

- The wifi was slow and unstable, we had to use Hotspot from our phones to watch a movie in the evening. - Having people serve you each slice of tomatoe during breakfast buffet felt awkward. I really don't understand why we couldn't just put the food on the plates by ourselves.

We had a fantastic week at Punta del Norte Bungalows with my 22-year-old daughter in June. Having travelled a lot, I've never experienced such a warm welcome and personalised service elsewhere. The hotel's location is ideal for families with children and anyone looking for tranquillity. Initially a bit surprised about the isolated area (compared to Manocra), we soon discovered it was perfect for relaxation. The hotel staff assisted us by arranging taxis for our trips to Mancora and Tumbes, even called our taxi driver to check if we were OK, when we spent entire days out. The included breakfast with fresh juices was fantastic, and the optional lunches with sea food and dinners surpassed the quality of more expensive restaurants in Mancora. Special thanks to the attentive hotel staff who went out of their way to fulfil our requests. They provided us with different entertainment options, beach sports equipment, and ping pong, along with a variety of board games. Kayaking tour was amazing and safe under control of the guide who also was our photographer. Worth mentioning a memorable birthday celebration for my daughter. I ordered a decorated pancake for breakfast, but the team surprised us with a beautifully decorated area, music, and singing "Feliz Cumpleaños." The entire hotel area was clean and well-maintained. Our rooms were serviced daily (towels changed, cleaning), and everything operated seamlessly. White sand beach which is one step out from the hotel was unbeatable, allowing for safe and morning beach 10kms jogs along the shore as well as comfortable sun bath on the nice bunches under shadow. Despite it not being peak season, the hotel accommodated our request for a late check-in without additional charges. While I don't speak Spanish (my daughter does), communication with the staff was made easy with the help of Google Translate. The breakfast was very good and each morning (I stayed for 7 days!) was something different to try. I must say that I was surprised about being served by them,despite being buffet style, so I had to say how many pieces of avocado, tomatoes,etc. I wanted, instead of taking it by myself. I don’t think that was necessary, but I am sure they had their reasons for that, as it’s a very small property(10 bungalows).

The location - it was isolated from everything, and there was nothing to do there, except for swimming at the pool. It’s great for people who just need a break and want to relax. For 7 days, it does become boring though.

Firstly - I would like to Highly recommend this hotel resort to the best standard. Exceptional service from the beginning when we arrived. Professional friendly staff who continuously reassured our comfort & enjoyment. Beautiful food & delicious cocktails. An outstanding beach 10 metres away from the property. The pool was extremely modern. The rooms are spacious & luxurious. A secluded property to relax & unwind to the highest standard. 10/10 stay. Guests certainly would not be disappointed. An exquisite hotel all around.
