Very clean! Staff was friendly and went above and beyond. Breakfast was always delicious. Beds were comfortable and the room we had was perfect. But let me make this clear, although it says boutique, hotel, or suites, this is a hostel. That needs to be clarified. But it was not what I expected at all from a hostel. I’d stay here again.

The first room we had faced the street, and all glass windows. It was VERY noisy all night. BUT the front desk was able to get us the perfect room.

We LOVEd the room, it was so large, high ceilings so great for sleeping without feeling hot (and Lima was VERY VERY HOT these days), nice amazingly comfortable beds, clean sheets, nice night lamps, everything perfect :) he shared bathroom were very clean and next to our room (felt like having private bathroom). Our daughter loved the "TEA SPOT" where she could have a tea anytime she wanted. And choose and make it alone :) Also the terrace with nice view of he street...another "living room style" spot to jus relax and read....btw. many itneresting books about PERU...and nice decorations...all really done with so much style (me and my husband are artists so we really appreciate beauty). And amazing breakfast...fruit salat with strawberries, blueberries, papaya, apple, grapes, bananas, pineapple...fresh OJ, nice hot chocolate, tasty toast, REAL butter (not margarine), fresh baguette, omelet, and smiles from the people serving the food. The personal is super sweet, helpful and takes such a good care of their amazing house. Thank you so much for your care. We will be back.

I didnt like that we were so full after the breakfast we had no space to try the amazing looking TIRAMISU and than when we were leaving forgot to have a piece...next time I will have it for breakfast <3

The hotel is very charming. Well located in Barranco. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant seemed very popular as lots of yummy options unfortunately we didnt get a chance to try as they closed the restaurant just as we finished checking in. The beds were comfortable and clean.

It's very very noisy. The windows are thin and you can hear everything that goes on outside. As it's in a main Avenue, the traffic is heavy all throughout the evening. We also had issues with the shower as we didnt have hot water and had to have someone come up to check on it. The breakfast could also use more variety. As we were checking out, the receptionist checked our rooms and complained about a dirty towel which felt strange as it is a towel after all and it can be washed. Would not stay there again.

Staff very warm and inviting. Hotel building over 200 years old but remodeled with new bathrooms, etc. 20' high ceilings, old windows, tiled or marble floors, very charming. Good fresh breakfast, good hot water, plants and flowers, interesting old photos on some walls. Great location in the heart of Barranco. We booked for one night but staying longer as we like it here!

The hotel is located in an old traditional building with a central courtyard and a lot of character. It had an excellent breakfast, good hot water, decent internet, a nice location in Barranco, around three blocks from the Malecon overlooking the Pacific and a short walk to the Metro that runs to Lima’s Centro Historico. The staff is friendly and helpful, Miriam especially. We had a large interior room off of a common sitting room, which opened onto an attractive alcove with comfortable chairs overlooking the street. Our room had no windows, but the staff was great in providing additional lights for our room.

It's always a pleasure to stay in this unic hotel so lovely runned and with such a kind receptionist as Miriam.It makes you feel home. Very original building with warm folkoric and elegant style in the heart of Barranco. Room are clean and comfortable. They are also very flexible ,when i asked them to change room cause one was smelling slightly of humid(which is unavoidable in an old building in Lima),they gave me immediately a better bigger room without asking for an extra.In the past they have allowed me to keep my bags there for a little extra cost,or to pay after check out when i had problem with me card. I can only recommend!

Probably the best hotel I've had in Lima. Big and spacious rooms and the noise level wasn't too bad for a huge city. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

What did rub me off the wrong way was that they where asking for positive reviews in exchange for free drinks. I hate that kind of practice. Especially since this hotel doesn't need it.

Nicely decorated and clean, with comfortable beds. Really helpful staff and exceptional breakfast! There's also a really cute coffee downstairs.

It was cold (wintertime, so it was expected, there were extra blankets) and the water pressure wasn't great but it didn't take away from the experience.

The garden was beautiful, the hotel overall is very vintage. Plenty of restaurants around, night life is very active. Barranco is beautiful and full of art. Breakfast was delicious, the coffee was great.

Decoration can be improved

The staff is very friendly. They allow late check-out if rooms are available and if not then they will hold your bags until 8 PM if you are out and about. The breakfast is until 11 AM and is quite filling: juice, eggs, bread, butter and a choice of coffee/drink. If you want visit the Barranco area, this is probably the best place to stay.
