The room, comfortable beds, great bath and shower, excellent breakfast and staff there. The location is perfect for visit to Historic Centre, is in walking distance.

The organisation at check-in. Three clerks, before us a huge group with vouchers, not queueing, disorganised. Because of this me and two other couples had to wait over 35 minutes (!) to get assistance. Why not have two clerks help the group and the other help regular guests. Worst check-in experience I ever had. After a twelve hour flight this is not what you expect in a hotel like Sheraton.

1) Very clean 2) Extremely friendly staff 3) Lovely breakfast (fruits, meats, cheeses, tamales buffet & eggs/omelet live counter) 4) There are some really great business, museums, tourist sites & restaurants in the historic center. This hotel is 15 minutes walking distance from the Armas de Lima (considered the heart of the historic center) 5) Lots of parks nearby to just relax 6) Right at the metro station

Most of the new & upcoming restaurants and cafes, and beaches, and activities (para gliding, surfing etc.) are located in Miraflores & Barranco district. If you plan to spend your time in these locations, then you will need to take the metro or uber from the hotel to the destinations. (That’s what we did)

We absolutely love this hotel ! The staff were incredibly helpful and joyous at all times . Hector is awesome who worked in the restaurant and so we're the internal staff Marinella who cleaned our room with love 💕 We normally do not use the swimming pools in hotels but the weather was perfect so we had a swim and enjoyed a delicious lunch of ceviche and drinks . With all the activities across the road we watched locals dance in the park across the road .. it is truly magical to witness the energy and sweetness of the Peruvian people . .. Thank you to all the staff at the Sheraton Lima Historic.

What a view from our 6th floor room! Spacious, clean and comfy, handy charging station (no need for adaptors), bottled water (unlike in Cusco and from our previous experience in Argentina and Brazil), a bidet too. Friendly helpful front desk staff like Jamina and Gary. A very nice restaurant with friendly, kind and generous staff like Hector and William, besides the delicious food (loved the Peruvian roast potatoes). Enjoyed wandering around on our last day to nearby parks and museums, plazas and churches, plus a handy shopping mall next door. We would certainly stay again and recommend friends and family.

Only one bedside table and lamp! No coffee or tea making facilities.

I was quite satisfied with the hotel’s location and the attitude of the lobby staff.

The hotel breakfast was terrible—everything was extremely chaotic, and there were hardly any seats available. The staff had no time to clean up, there was no self-service coffee, and even the tables weren’t cleared, so don’t expect them to have time to serve you coffee. There weren’t even napkins, though luckily, we managed to get forks and spoons. I suggest the hotel assign specific responsibilities to each staff member, such as someone dedicated to serving coffee and someone focused on clearing tables, rather than the current system where staff are responsible for specific areas. Also, since this is a buffet, why isn’t there a self-service coffee machine or a station for guests to grab their own cutlery? It makes no sense to have to wait for someone to bring them.

The hotel is well located in the Historic centre. The staff here are excellent, very helpful and always up for a chat. Luis the cocktail barman was awesome and new his cocktails and loved a chat. The hotel felt a bit tired, however was very clean at all times.

Being located in the Historic centre on the main drag meant that the traffic was so busy (to the point of tiring)the hotel is also located next door to a major shopping mall which increased this traffic movement 5 fold. The hotel felt a bit tired and could do with an update for a Marriot/Sheraton brand.

The room was spacious, clean, comfy, and most importantly, quiet (#1386). It was at the back of the hotel as the front was noisy with heavy traffic. Large, comfy bed. There was a fridge (no mini bar) and a safe. Plenty of electric sockets. Great shower with constant hot water/pressure. Seems that most of the rooms were carpeted so don't hear annoying scraping of furniture. Quick and easy check-in with Henry. Super fast wifi. Very useful mall next door with lots of food options. Reasonably good breakfast. The hotel's brutal architecture is pretty cool - it's a former prison. We stayed here again when we came back to Lima at the end of our trip.

Some improvements would enhance the experience: Like most Sheratons, the room's decor is a little tired/dated. No tea/coffee making facilities - we took our own kettle and the hotel were happy to provide us with tea cups. Pillows were too soft (but some people may prefer this). Only 2 elevators out of 4 were working - so a long wait at times to get to and from the room. It's at least a 30-minute walk from Plaza De Armas and the historic district; however, there's plenty of cabs outside and Uber works well there (10-15 sols).

Well located in the historical centre of Lima and next to a big shopping mall, excellent services provided by the employees especially Jimena from Front Office. Even though we stayed for a night, she upgrades us to the highest floor due to the noise level on the road and works in the hotel (and we wanted a good view of the Palace of Justice which is copy of Brussels' :)) . Spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows.

Be aware of the traffic noise if your room is facing the main road as traffic is bad. A facelift is needed as it is old though still in good condition.

I stayed at the hotel because the company I work for had a symposium held at Pachacamac saloon. The room was clean and ready by the time when I checked-in. It was very convenient to have the event at the same place where I stayed at.

When I booked the room, it said "Concierge level, Guest room, 1 King, Corner room" and I got a room that was not at the corner. When I talk to the hotel personnel, they informed me that I've got a concierge room and they will research about the location of the room, however at check-out they didn't say anything about it.

The hotel location is very good. I was given a room on the 5th level overlooking the central square right across the road from the hotel. In the evening, I could see people enjoying themselves dancing throughout the evening with live music and drums. There's a shopping mall right next to the hotel and it has many food and beverage outlets. And there are more than 2 pharmacies where I could buy my high altitude sickness medicine without doctor's prescription.

The room cleaning service could have been a little better. I have to request for the room to be cleaned on more than 2 days out of the few days of my stay.
