The location is excellent, as it’s close to the meeting points for most boat trips and tours, allowing you to walk there without needing a pick-up. Some tours even offer to pick me up, even though it's not included, simply because the location is so convenient for them. The garden and courtyard are beautiful, featuring a three-story-tall kaffir lime tree at the center. Breakfast is served on the second floor, with a lovely view of the garden. The food is simple but adequate for anyone heading out on an early boat trip.

They do not clean the rooms every day, which is fine for me. However, they only provide new towels upon request. Considering that most guests come to Coron for swimming and water activities, it would be helpful if fresh towels were offered daily. Other than that, everything else is great.

It is located fairly near the docking area where we hop on our boats for our full day island tours. Behind it are the laundromats, restaurants (pizza, Italian, Japanese), cafes. The staff are incredible! They didn’t forget our requests and booked us airport rides, supplies us towels, cleaned our rooms and prepared our complimentary breakfast at the time we wanted them.

Wish there were more family rooms but we gone one of the four.

We like the location because everything we need is a walking distance. The staff are all friendly and welcoming.

I can't think of anything I dislike but if there's one, I think it's just my personal opinion. I think it would be nice if the guests could choose between a firm and a soft bed. A hotel to stay in is more like a bed and breakfast. We did have choices for breakfast, which we included in our stay, so might as well include a choice for the bed, again just my opinion.

I got upgraded to a bigger room which was a nice surprise upon my arrival. The staff are the BEST! They've been super kind, helpful, gave local recommendations, even helped me hail a tricycle when I was leaving (and they kept waiting with me outside) they're just super nice and made my visit so pleasant - all of them! As for the room, I got upgraded as I said and my new room had a balcony and was of a decent size (not big but also not too small) it was squeaky clean as is the whole property and they'd replace everything when I had it cleaned. The location is right by the port where all boats begin/end tours from and it's also super close to restaurants, shops, ATMs etc. so it's perfect. All in all you get your money's worth 100%. I'd stay again if I go back to Coron unless I want more of a luxury stay.

One of the towels I found in the room was torn (I found 2 towels) and when they cleaned my room they took both the towels and replaced it with 1 good towel :) but it was fine since I was alone.

Good central location, has all essential amenities and has decent breakfast. Staff was helpful when asked. Got a free room upgrade from single to double. There's in room massage service as well

The street facing room can be a bit loud. The key chain is huge so it's not convenient to carry around, so you'll just have to leave it at the reception each time you go out.

We had such a lovely stay at Balaibinda. The staff were extremely friendly, the room was spacious and comfy, the breakfast was simple but good and the communal spaces were great. Location is also perfect in the middle of town whilst not being noisy at all. We were sad to leave.

Evening receptionist helped me with a travel query. She did not give up until she resolved my dilemma. She went above and beyond her duties to ensure I got the information I needed. The best receptionist we’ve met in the Philippines x

The Garden in the courtyard was beautiful however the Mosquitos were thriving on the vegetation so the room had a lot of Mosqiuitos which we could not get get rid of because every time we opened the door they came in.

Balabainda Lodge was fantastic. Really central location, the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, everything we needed was taken care of and their whole team were really accommodating. Aircon was constant and kept the room comfortable, wifi never wavered and was strong even in the room and the bathroom was clean & modern 10/10

Power-points were oddly positioned in the room I was in, (i.e., none near the bed) and there wasn’t a mini fridge (though there are about 3 ‘corner stores’ within 30m of the hotel that don’t close).

The breakfast had a plentiful number of options that from my experience all tasted very good. Additionally, the staff was absolutely amazing and made the experience all the better. And lastly, the room that I stayed in was very clean and comfortable with very good AC that was amazing considering the hot climate of the region.

There was little to complain about during my stay. However, I am 6'7" tall (2 meters) which always tends to complicate things. Therefore, the shower was a little tight, but in reality, it is not too big of a problem considering that the shower head is not fixed in place but is a wand.

Everything was great about this place: • The location is very central, it’s 5 minutes from the port so you can walk when going island hopping with a boat for the day. It’s also next to all the restaurants in the town. In spite of it’s location, it is still peaceful inside because there is a little garden between the busy streets and the entrance of the accommodation. • The staff are very kind and helpful, they offered to clean our room and change our towels every day. Breakfast was delivered right on time each day. • Facilities in the accommodation are exactly as advertised — water heater, water pressure, fan and air conditioning all work great, the room and the whole accommodation is spotless clean and breakfast was fresh. They also arranged transfer to the airport for us.
